I hope you all enjoy this sample from one of my paid courses - the VIP MasterClass Series - where I show a new way of approaching voicing. I generally use this trick for accuracy with tricky chordal passages, but there is actually a lot of crossover that can be applied to voicing as well (if you're new to piano, voicing simply refers to bringing out your melody line more than your accompaniment line(s)). Have a great week of practicing :)
By the way these cords are a citation from a choral of Bach's St Mathew Passion. I will start on this section next week, so your advice comes at a very good moment, Josh!
Dear mr Wright could you please set the full turtorial from tchaikovsky piano concerto no.1 b-flat major on youtube, because I've really struggles with the techniques of that piece.
you got it. I have ProPractice tutorials for the first half of movement 1, but never finished the second half. I will be finishing those videos within the year, along with a bunch of other projects I'm working on. Have a great week

It’s amazing I watch your videos for pieces I’m not even learning and I always still take something away from them
Thanks so much Volen! Hope you're having a great week of practice :)

What mic is that?
I love Your video's but I wonder why in this case the piano isn't open, as the bass sounds muffled.
