I very rarely leave comment,but this time i must say you saved my day,i spent 5 hours to understand what was wrong with my machine not stitching anymore.New machine one time used,first time was no problem was the way came with all in setted,when i tried second time wouldnt work anymore......then watching your video you said in some point "make sure the thread comes in needle from left...to right"...and that was my problem.i didn't think about this small detail..all sorted now...thank you for this material

Thank you for your video, I bought the Easy Home one from Aldi here in Australia and I struggled all day. I then bought Gutermann thread and new needles and Voila it worked. So glad. Tried new thread and needles that came in pack and it stopped stitching so threw away all the thread and needles. So amazed that those couple of things made all the difference.🙂🙂
Thankyou especially for your demonstration of different thread and fabric! I never knew these could effect the quality of stitching, but it makes sense. The cheap thread I that came in the supermarket sewing pack is very uneven and even fibrous when compared to the silky looking ones in the sewing shop. I can see how it would create drag. I've just purchased a Triumph Compact machine but it loses power when the foot pedal is used (the sewing light even dims) and starts sewing itself when I begin manually sewing! I'll get to the bottom of it, but thanks for this video anyway.

I have the easy home sewing machine and my issue is that it sews jerkily and very slowly. And sometimes when the needle is lowered into the fabric it just stays there or comes back up very slowly. I’ve also noticed that a small spring about half the size of my thumb is in the box the machine came in. I’m pretty sure it’s meant to be inside the machine somehow. Any tips?
Hi! My machine completely stopped working. The light on the machine on my machine still works, so the plug doesn’t seem to be a problem. The light also works if I use batteries. The actual on, off, low, high button doesn’t work and the pedal doesn’t do anything either. I can still spin the wheel to do some manual stitches. Hope you can help me with this. If there’s no solution, I might begin investing in a more substantial machine.

i have the purple one & it sucks. first time useing it. the stitching is very loose & not tight. the top string makes very very loose stitchees over the fabric you can see giant gaps in the stitich all the way through. used slow setting. how does it sew tight??

My hook was perfectly fine, the hook catch the thread and the needle was fine too i dont get it why my sewing machine can't sew? @@glonavyglitta i found a you tube video that showed me how to open up the machine and fix the needle position to make it work. and then it worked. But it keeps happening again, so i keep opening the machine and fixing it. Just a defective machine i think !
I always just take a different piece of embroidery thread, put it through the top of the hole and tie it to the bobbin thread. Then I pull on the embroidery thread upward. Hope this helps!
Ah, I got 1 of the Easy Home sewing machines today since it was on special at Aldi's, I'm trying to sew cotton and it keeps glitching in various ways, right now it's doing a few stitches and then stopping. So I guess I'll change out the thread since I'm using the threads it came with. The top thread also seems to keep getting stuck on the bottom bobbin housing.

I have a magicfly, mini and I adjusted the timing as you showed and made sure everything was right , I went to sew and at first I used a piece of paper to test and it sewed perfectly, so I used material and got nothing not one stitch, so I rethreaded it and adjusted my tension, still would sew the material but sewed the paper. This could be something to do with the tension of the thread. Try turning the tension knob to the right, but do slight adjustments to see if that helps.

Hi, I know you posted your question ages ago but thought I'd answer your good question! I'm not an expert but I notice that the cheaper threads might look and feel rough while the more expensive ones look silky and feel smooth and are stronger. If you can test a variety - try taking a length and see if you can break it with your hands - you'll feel the difference in the thread strength and maybe even the texture. The type of material can also effect it, for example cotton, polyester, linen, nylon etc and various blends.
Strangely the machine at the back is exactly like mine got it from Amazon and it's working like ur cheaper one since the beginning I have tried everything to fix the problem but in vein shouldn't have invested in it

I bought this machine from Amazon, I ordered it April 3, and it came to me June 7th...I received my refund from Amazon on May 10th, so when I did receive this machine, there was a piece of cloth with stitches already on it, the machine was threaded, and when I started to sew with another piece of cloth, the stitches are so far apart, not sewing and holding the material together, and when I looked underneath the cloth that was to have stitches, it looked like a bunch of thread blob,,,even though this machine was free, I cannot believe that this is a bunch of crap...I am going to re-thread, and start all over, and if it doesn't work, then I am tossing it.,,,
You may have solved the problem by now, but I'll answer in case anyone else has the same question. I don't know about your machine type but generally, there is a dial (on standard sized machines for adjusting the amount of pressure on the foot so you can choose light, medium or heavy pressure depending on the thickness of your fabric. On my Janome, it's under the lid on the top of my machine. I don't know if the mini machines would have it (particularly if it's a budget machine like the little Triumph compact machine I just bought - no foot pressure dial). If you have the manual (or search for it online), it will tell you.

How do you put the bottom bobbin in through the small hole that the needle goes through??? That is what my problem is

If you can test a variety - try taking a length and see if you can break it with your hands - you'll feel the difference in the thread strength and maybe even the texture. The type of material can also effect it, for example cotton, polyester, linen, nylon etc and various blends.
Strangely the machine at the back is exactly like mine got it from Amazon and it's working like ur cheaper one since the beginning I have tried everything to fix the problem but in vein shouldn't have invested in it

I bought this machine from Amazon, I ordered it April 3, and it came to me June 7th...I received my refund from Amazon on May 10th, so when I did receive this machine, there was a piece of cloth with stitches already on it, the machine was threaded, and when I started to sew with another piece of cloth, the stitches are so far apart, not sewing and holding the material together, and when I looked underneath the cloth that was to have stitches, it looked like a bunch of thread blob,,,even though this machine was free, I cannot believe that this is a bunch of crap...I am going to re-thread, and start all over, and if it doesn't work, then I am tossing it.,,,
All the best with getting it to work. Using a good quality thread really helped get my machine to cooperate. It can make a big difference.
How do I get my presser foot to actually hold my cloth? Its very loose
You may have solved the problem by now, but I'll answer in case anyone else has the same question. I don't know about your machine type but generally, there is a dial (on standard sized machines for adjusting the amount of pressure on the foot so you can choose light, medium or heavy pressure depending on the thickness of your fabric. On my Janome, it's under the lid on the top of my machine. I don't know if the mini machines would have it (particularly if it's a budget machine like the little Triumph compact machine I just bought - no foot pressure dial). If you have the manual (or search for it online), it will tell you.

Hi why my sewing machine wont sew.The upper and lower threads are not working
First two times it was ok. Third time it was not stiching both above and below.
