Wow you are really pumping out the quality videos Luke ATM. I have always wanted a wheel marking gauge, but i never new they broke that often. I have only used a marking gauge with a pin.
They can break easily especially if you accidentally slip with them while they are engaged in the wood. I have also find they don't last long in really hard woods. I'm not sure if the same applies to more premium wheel gauges like Veritas. I do however really like them for marking across the grain they excel at that.
