When The Warning were barely known in South America, Eruca Sativa took them under their wing and had them open for their tour of their home country in Argentina, which also was the first big tour for The Warning and became fast friends. To see Dany sing lead with Eruca Sativa, please react to the video below. Eruca Sativa - Fuera o Mas Alla (feat. Dany - The Warning)
Here is an older one where The Warning was opening for Eruca Sativa. If I remember correctly. Eruca Sativa was the first band to take them on tour. Eruca Sativa does a cover Elenor Rigby. Little surprise half way through... ua-cam.com/video/jvir76ZUBI4/v-deo.htmlsi=kSMxTp7n7k90wThm
In addition to being a great band, it seems to me that Eruca Sativa have been great mentors to The Warning. The Warning are fortunate to have artists like them and Halestorm embrace them in that way, but it must also speak to DPA’s character, work ethic and personalities that other bands show them that kind of care and respect.
Eruca Sativa was the first band The Warning toured with. In late 2018 Eruca Sativa and The Warning played 6 shows across Mexico. A year later they played 7 shows together in Argentina, their first extended time outside Mexico. Before that they had only been outside MX a handful of times. They played a few places in Texas, a few times at the Whisky in LA, and their TEDx talks in Reno. Argentina was their first real taste of life on the road.
@@jorgehernandezgutierrez8140 creo que no leíste bien. Habla de experiencia en gira, no en conciertos aislados (además menciona los conciertos). Antes de Argentina habían tocado en USA, pero no habían hecho gira.
Eruca Sativa is badass, check out the OMV for Fuera o Mas Alla. They are a cool mix of hard rock, funk and metal. Brenda Martin the bassist is one of Ale's mentors and is a world class bassist. Lula Bertoldi the guitarist/singer is also amazing with high energy vocals. BTW, DPA dropped an amazing studio (Sirius XM) version of Alaniss Morrisette's You Ought to Know.
There is good fan video of Dany singing with Eruca on their song "Fuera o Mas Alla" (a banger) when they toured Mexico together. Dany freed from the mic stand is great to see. The OMV for that song is pretty awesome too.
Eruca are one of the Warning’s favourite bands, and have become one of mine in due course. Check out their lives from “Estadio Obras”, for instance “Para que sigamos siendo”. The bass player of Eruca, Brenda, is one of Ale’s idols, and Pau once said she wanted to drum like Gaby Pedernera, Eruca’s drummer, “when I grow up”. Eruca’s singer and guitarist Lula Bertoldi has a strong voice - and a little sister who is a star in her own right, Marilina. See her go berserk in Eruca’s Estadio Obras concert, on the song “Nada salvaje”, where she joins her big sister’s band.
I can't understand a word of her vocals due to the crappy audio and language barrier, but Pau is having too much fun here... Pau always has a receiver for InEarz, and a transmitter for her headset mic. She leaves them on when she gets out from behind the kit. She tends to use a wired SM58 Shure mic on piano or a 58 capsule on a handheld transmitter, while her sisters use the Earthworks sEV7 capsules on handheld transmitters parked in stands most of the time. Dany and Ale wear similar setups - transmitters for their instruments, and receivers for InEarz. They've been wireless most of their performing lives.
Pau loves being out front, but she has a blast playing drums. Her issue is that singing while playing is exhausting, even though she does it well and she trains well in order to keep up her stamina. If you notice their set lists, they work that around the Pau centered songs, to provide her the time to catch her breath and recover. Their newest album has some times when Pau sings lead for a bit, but not for an entire song. She and Dany trade off vocals as they have often done in the past. I think both of them are comfortable with that. Maybe in the future Pau will do a song regularly as the front person. Dany seems to enjoy the freedom of being away from her mic stand and she is always a cheerleader for whatever Pau is doing. They have done Narcisista during their sets where they have used outside drummers (AreJay Hale, Beto Ramos for example). There was at least one show where Dany's guitar tech sat in on the drums, as he plays drums very well. So, I think it's entirely possible that in the future Pau will come out front more regularly.
This was The Warning's show at the Show Center in Monterrey, 3/24/2023. I'm pretty sure my head is one of them that pops up in front of this shot. Pretty sure I just heard my distinctive WOOOO at the end. lol They toured Mexico opening for Eruca Sativa in 2018 on the Power Trio tour. Right after I found them, right around the time they released QOTMS. Then in 2019 they toured Argentina for the first time opening for Eruca Sativa. Lula Bertoldi - Guitar, Brenda Martin - Bass, and Gabriel Pedernera on drums. Yes, that's him in this video. Check out Fuera o Mas Alla by Eruca Sativa. I love it, can't understand a word they say, but I love it. Brutal is by Olivia Rodrigo
One thing about The Warning, they never see themselves as being above anyone else. They are just always amazed when they can play with someone they love. Pau is an amazing front woman, but they all have the same views. If someone we love wants to play with us, we'll play. Pau could front a band, no doubt, but it's more of just being a part of what they love. They have an amazing talent that will cross so many things. ❤️⚡🥳
When most young people are having fun air jamming at home to the song they are having fun jamming for real on stage. And you can tell they definitely had fun.
Pau is so awesome when she's not behind the kit. Check out the video of her with Dead Poets Society at the Aftershock festival. She could easily be a frontwoman if she didn't love playing the drums so much.
There is another fan video of this performance, closer to the stage wth slighly better sound. Another time Pau is a front person is when they joined Moderatto on stage for their song Quemándome de Amor. Her place behind the drums has been taken by guests for Narcisista (at least) twice, once by Arejay Hale of Halestorm and on the Teatro Metropolitan concert by Pau's drum teacher Beto Ramos. And just a couple of days ago she appeared as guest vocalist with Dead Poet's Society at the Aftershock festival.
