Just wanted to point something out for you that you might not be aware of. I am a former flight attendant of 12 years for AA. The ash tray is not what you think. They are there in the event someone is caught smoking, there has to be a safe place to dispose of it. They still have these on even modern planes for that very reason.

New aircraft today still have ashtrays do you want something that's on fire be put out in an ashtray or in a garbage can ????
I bring that up because smoking is not allowed on aircraft anymore! thank you for the information though. I was unaware that today’s aircraft are equipped with ashtrays in the cabin.
135s can only seat 37 people, so you don't have much more room than the original Continental configuration.
