One of my fave flight sim channels on youtube ! 'Will it Bush' sounds like a good idea for a series of videos trying to land the most unsuitable aircraft on bush strips !
@@Foxtrot_EW My comment was directed towards to those keyboard warriors out there who make it their mission to fire shots at content creators who don't do things exactly as they would be done in real-world procedure. They go through every video they can find pointing out mistakes. If you have watched some of AvAngels other video's you'd know what I'm talking about.
Now there is a sound I have not heard in maaaaany a year... "Don't Sink! Don't Sink!". Brings back memories of the virtual airline days. I'm definitely not going back to that though, so you are a better person than I am for taking that beast on. Not too shabby either! I never would have thought an Airbus can bush fly!
This is exactly what i need. Your just doing exactly what and how you wanna do it, no questions asked. Absolutely Love it. Thanks for another great entertaining video.
Love this video, its how I usually fly. I can just Imagine AvAngel training in a real Airbus, and the capt listening to her telling the master warning to be quite!.😅 Another thumbs up from me, brilliant.
Hi Angel!!! I love you because you are soooooo much fun!!!! Now I've got to fly this route but not in an airliner!!! Maybe piston twin of some kind!!! Thank you for new places to visit!!!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
@@baomao7243 mmmmmm . I was joking . Just giving her the reaction she thought she was going to get lol. I do this sometimes in sim myself . Fly a Citation CJ 4 from untowered fields . Or a A320 in deep north Canada.
As a pilot who has only flown little "motorized box kites" I only fly the airliners in MSFS because I know I'll never fly them in real life. The fact is, I didn't care if you follow procedures or use the autopilot or whatever, but that you (specifically) fly it and this was brilliant. The thought of a wide body taking off from that teeny airstrip and land at an even more stupid one after what we Americans call "farting around" VFR was just brilliant, thank you again
As someone who watched this whole video in pain because you didn’t fly it properly, I gotta say I was entertained regardless! Keep the fun out of the box content coming!
I also had problems with the ATR throttle axes. I was able to get it to work by changing the throttle axis assignment in a separate profile just for the ATR. The default axis is Throttle 1 Axis (0% to 100%) and I changed it to Throttle 1 Axis with out the precents and that's what got it working for me.
I’d love to see a “Will it Bush?“ with the Bae146. It’s just capable enough where on one hand it could actually kinda work but on the other hands it’s a regional airliner with 4 APU‘s for engines.
As long as you're around, I'm not the only one landing inappropriate planes in inappropriate places and recording it. Thanks for that. Also, I really loved the Serenity quote, though you had more of a desperate edge to your delivery than Wash did. 😉
I have a strange feeling that the Airbus 310 training and POH do not include anything on combined Short field / Soft field operations. Call it a hunch. (TOGA is a difficult mistress.)
That was a very fun video!!! People mock tube jockeys until they attempt a VFR landing . 150,000 behemoths do not respond to control inputs like small planes and sink like a rock until in ground effect and then they want to float like a raft. . 2000 ft runway or 20,000 ft runway … your still trying to land at the beginning of the runway . The approach is still the same adventure. Try 50 knot cross winds, or strong headwind gusts when trying to maintain minimum speed or landing with 500 ft visibility ….or any combo there of. Remember your have hundreds of passengers who will complain about anything and try to provide the smoothest landing possible 😂. Also, airports are usually in cities and there are altitude and engine noise restrictions to follow. It can really become “threading the needle” I get that some dislike the long high altitude part and call it boring . I personally like to fly the whole route VFR with no fmc or auto pilot. I read and follow the printed flight plan , set transponder, all navigation and communication radios manually so I have to manually input each VOR freq that I am currently headed to. Follow a end and decent rates manually and hold altitude manually. All manual control, manual navigation and manual engine management really livens up the trip😂 trying to stay on course, on speed and at altitude and keep optimum N1 and fuel rate all completely manually … It keeps ya busy !! If you ever see YA-GIRL flying around know that I never use L.NAV, V.NAV, or APPRT, and rarely basic auto pilot inputs. So if I’m ever out of place or doing something weird in a pattern or approach transition … I’m probably just lost 🤣🤣🤣
Wow, I've never seen anyone shove flaps out during the takeoff roll to throw an airliner off of the ground, that's a real bushplane trick ! And what a way to end the video !
The lady needed to set flaps to full on final approach as you could see the plane was about to stall before she got to the threshold .Set auto throttle speed to miniums of 180 kns and maintain speed until you touch down for this plane on final. Because its short final , fly it down onto threshold , aim about 25 meters from the start of runway threshold as a target to hit , don't forget to flare the nose 10 degrees as you touchdown and arm the auto brakes to full on these short run ways .
the only way I have found to land this flying machine is to disable all automatisms and get it full manual - otherwise it will TOGA and it does not understand that anyone would want to land the darn thing. it also loves to break your ears.
Loved it! The ultimate "hold my beer and watch this". I hear Buffalo is looking for a good instructor.🛫🛬🛫🛬🏁😂 I enjoy parking the helicopter at (KEB) Alaska and just watching the landings and takeoffs. Cheers and thanks for so much MSFS fun!

I don't care what the airliner purists say... this is absolutely hilarious! People take MSFS way too seriously.
So question...what do you take very seriously as fun or a hobby?

🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂💀💀
"Stupid fricking stall protection BS!"
Famous last words.
I had it under control 😀
Now a days whenever I install a new plane into the Sim, I always think to myself, '... but will it bush'? this thanks to watching all of your videos.
'stop rudder input' I have never heard that warning before, lol.

AvAngel getting into a shouting match with the airplane was funny. Great vid!
Hehe

I had a whole seat for this video, but I only needed the edge!

Alright now I ain't expect this. The woman has gone mad .
Mad? Or eccentric?
Madness is in the eye of the beholder…

Absolutely Priceless. That's so entertaining I have to try it. Your one of my favorites.
Don't suck, don't suck, oups sink! Funny! 😁😁
I would love to see that last landing from an outside perspective, this was brilliant fun!

Yeah... I didn't quite belive it :D
Ah, the famous Pan-Am Airbush.... a known phenomenon in lawn darting communities all around the globe!!
Some have Taco Tuesdays, we get wacky bushy Tuesdays and I love them hehehe

Btw there is a GPWS and EGPWS inhibit switch in the flight deck .
Also I mean just don't sink .
Bush tires... all I'm saying ;) Cheers Rach

Minimum 180knots?
I think that was WAY too fast. There was no chance Id stop at 180. I cannot afford 25 meters :D
@@AvAngel Yep forgot its a short run way 135- 140kns set the auto throttles , is more suitable on this short runway .
AvAngel goes to the aircraft boneyard to find the 'perfect' old airliner for some bush flying. Why am I not surprised! 🤣🤣🤣
:D
If you ever get a chance, you should try the futuristic glider/jet Proto T1 - Sci-Fi Jet Glider on flightsim. I think you would have a blast with it.
I love this woman !!!
Now try with the BAe-146, that's a true bush-liner!!!

errr shouldn't that be Pan Pan air...lol
excellent
Congratulations!
Hey, I'm sure at least a few passengers lived. Not bad, really! 😁
At least three.
PanAm - because they can't sue?
Quite the nose up attitude after rotating! The ground (brown) just disappears from the artificial horizon as you sky…
Your passengers will never fly again...
You are legend. Please drink lots of your favorite alcoholic beverage and do another video I want to compare.😂
Challenge accepted
this machine is made for flying but not for landing -- you are not supposed to land it at all.
Shaadup....shaadup....you're a 🌟....I need a strong🥂 after that😘
I thought that AvAngel was finally using a clickbait title and was actually bush-piloting an H145.
Then i start the the video and 😳…
No no, this is accurate :D
Oh, this is wrong on so many levels . . .
Yeeeeees
Lol
I agree 100% airliners are boring as hell
Loved it! The ultimate "hold my beer and watch this". I hear Buffalo is looking for a good instructor.🛫🛬🛫🛬🏁😂

Just because you haven't seen it before doesn't mean It can't be done anything can bush 😎🛬
