Your projects are all adorable. I love the fact that you are not afraid to talk of God. It warms my heart. I too believe God has a hand in our lives. I have had a lot of health issues, some stemming from a severe car accident. My husband lost his job at 58 over religion. Just couldn’t be proved. After 30 years. Two years later he ended up at a job he loved. But only after we had depleted our retirement funds. Long story short, we ended up having to live with our son and family. Our retirement just wasn’t enough to include a house payment. My daughter in law actually talked my son in to asking us to live with them. What a blessing. Would I rather have our own house? Yes! But after 6 years, four boys, and no trouble. I can see God’s hand in everything. A new adventure awaits us as we are moving across state. In a million years, I never thought we all would move. My daughter in law had the most to loose in moving. After much prayer, a great opportunity for my son, she is the one who said let’s do it. That’s the plan. I have 4 kids and any of our children would have done the same. Have I questioned my Heavenly Father about our whole situation? You bet I have. But in the end I KNOW He sees the big picture. I’m not sure why I’m sharing, I just think I needed to because change is hard at 68. I’m putting my best foot forward and away we go after Christmas. Thanks again for your talents and sharing your thoughts.
Gingerbread man my fav! But they are all worth giving a try. I’m 61 and it is still so difficult to believe that God loves me despite who I am … that’s just who He is and I’m so grateful! TFS
