Inspiring I have similar intrests working with data analysis, statistics and visualizations and in addition i have a deep passion for Space(Stars and planets) hope i can work on a space industry in the future with ds 🙂
That’s amazing to hear! It’s great to see people combining their passion for data science with their interests, like you with space. Data science has applications in every domain, and it can open doors in any industry. As a civil engineer who transitioned into data science within my field, I can confidently say that DS skills are versatile and valuable across various sectors. Keep building your skills, and I’m sure you’ll find exciting opportunities to work in the space industry in the future!
It's truly inspiring to watch! ✨Your journey, hard work, and dedication are really admirable. 🔥Sharing your experience is such an inspiration for beginners. Keep up the amazing work!
This video is really inspiring! I’m currently studying Computer Science in London, and my goal is to become a data scientist. Your journey and insights are super helpful for my future. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thankyou sir , this is very much useful for students like me ...btw I'm in 10th in CBSE school....so I am confused about streams .... This video is very much useful
I’m so glad to know that a 10th-grade student like you found this video helpful! It makes me extremely happy. Just remember, don’t follow my choices blindly-I shared my journey to explain why I took those decisions. If you’re clear on what you want to become, there might be better options for you. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions!
I worked in university of Toronto as data scientist. After four months I quit I do understand this path is not right for me . Unfortunately my friend who should be math whiz 😅 can continue the journey. Machine learning maths probability statistics calculus liner algebra first derivatives and it’s dad. Then some Python sql classic code 👩💻. Done all the time I don’t know what to do
I can understand your situation, but there are many other simpler options in the data field that you can explore. You could look into roles like data analysis, business intelligence, data visualization, or even data quality assurance. These positions still involve working with data but tend to be less complex than the full data scientist role. Since you’ve already cracked a data scientist job, it might be easier for you to transition into any of these other roles, as they build on the skills you’ve already gained.

Thanks a lot for being a valuable member throughout. I really appreciate the support of people like you. Also, thank you for sharing your insights regarding the app! These kinds of opinions are exactly what I’m looking for, and I’m grateful for your input. Regarding the video delays, I’m really sorry for that. I’ve been quite busy with work, and I also dedicate time to study and upskill myself while working on personalized projects based on my interests. This has created some time constraints, which is why there’s a delay in videos. But I will definitely try my best to upload videos more regularly moving forward.
SQL series is already completed, and most of the key concepts are covered on the DataSoul channel. I believe this content is sufficient for both freshers and working professionals. As of now, I’m not planning to add more SQL classes, but I’ll be focusing on teaching other essential skills needed in this field.
Truly Inspiring 🎉I am 34 years old, a housewife, and no degree.I was interested in coding and started to learn basics.I am also doing Data science course from 365@Data Science.I was interested in maths from my childhood.Do you think a bachelor degree needed to work in this field?
I am a BSc mathematics student but i have certain doubt.I have got several advice from students who studied masters in data science that they did not got any entry level job as a data analyst.
That’s true because the market is very competitive, with many people entering this field. The key to getting a job is having the right skills required for the role and showcasing those skills through projects. A degree alone won’t guarantee a job unless you’ve developed the necessary skills. However, since you have a degree in mathematics, which is a strong foundation for data science-related roles, your chances are even better. Focus on learning the coding part, work on projects, and build a strong resume to stand out.
Great brother! Am trying to be a Data Analyst and complete a course. Morning to evening applying job and really stressed about lack of calls for interviews! Please let me know if you know of any Data Analyst openings. Thanks for the inspirational video
If you’re not getting interview calls, I’d suggest revisiting your resume to ensure it highlights projects relevant to the Data Analyst role. Simply learning skills might not be enough-having strong, practical projects on your resume can make a big difference. Focus on building and showcasing data analytics projects that demonstrate your abilities. Also, keep in mind that competition is high, so having a standout resume with impressive projects is key, especially as a fresher. Stay consistent, and don’t give up!
I was genuinely interested in coding, so I didn’t find it difficult to learn. Plus, I had plenty of free time during college. If you’re planning to start coding, I’d suggest beginning with Python-it’s beginner-friendly and widely used. The key is consistency: dedicate time to learning and practicing coding daily for at least a month. Once you’ve got the basics, start working on projects. If you can keep this up consistently for three months, you’ll have learned a lot. Remember, consistency is the key!
Hello there ,I am mathematics bachelor's student (final year).I am interested in working with data in future, confused about choosing which masters to pursue, statistics or data science
Hello! Both statistics and data science are great options if you’re interested in working with data. Statistics offers a solid theoretical foundation, valuable for roles that focus on deep analysis and research, while data science combines statistical knowledge with programming, machine learning, and practical tools, making it more application-oriented. If you enjoy theory and research, statistics might be the right choice, but if you prefer a mix of coding and analytics with a focus on solving real-world problems, data science could be a better fit. Both fields offer strong career opportunities, so it depends on your interests and career goals.
Thank you for sharing your concern! It’s true that math, especially statistics and probability, is an essential part of machine learning. But don’t feel discouraged-many people find it challenging at first. Instead of trying to master everything at once, start with the basics and gradually build your understanding. Focus on practical applications while learning, as this can make the concepts easier to grasp. Also, don’t hesitate to use beginner-friendly resources or take your time with each topic. Learning math is a process, and with consistent effort, it will become more manageable.
I also have a plan to teach math related to data science on this channel in the future. I know many students face this issue, so I’ll be creating beginner-friendly lessons to make it easier to learn. Stay tuned, and don’t give up-you’ve got this!
I completely agree with you. I think the approach needs to change. Instead of jumping into paid courses right away and committing to this domain, I’d suggest starting with free resources available online. Learn the basics, work on some projects, and see if you’re genuinely interested. Spend at least 3 months learning and practicing daily, and if you still don’t enjoy it, it’s worth rethinking if this path is right for you.
A good question! When framing your resume for data science roles, focus on these key factors: 1. Highlight relevant technical skills (Python, SQL, Machine Learning, etc.). 2. Showcase projects with measurable impact (e.g., improved model accuracy by X%). 3. Emphasize data science tools and frameworks (Pandas, TensorFlow, etc.). 4. Include business-relevant experience (solving real-world problems). 5. Tailor your resume to the job description, focusing on keywords. 6. Add certifications, competitions, or publications related to data science. This will make your resume stand out!
Absolutely! A commerce student can learn data science. Since you’re from a commerce background, you already have a foundation in statistics and related math. Focus on learning coding, and as you do, start applying your knowledge through project-based learning. Working on projects will help you understand concepts better and build a strong portfolio.
I would say my life and perceptions literally changed after joining NIT Calicut. I became more confident, started exploring various areas, and eventually found my way to data science. I’ve mentioned a lot about my journey at NITC in this video, but I will definitely consider your suggestion to make a video about campus life and the overall college experience. Anyway, since you’re a JEE aspirant, best wishes-prepare well for the exams!
Yes, you can learn and get a job, but it will be challenging due to the significant gap. However, your background in mathematics is a great starting point. Focus on learning data analysis and visualization skills first (using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI). You can start applying for analyst roles with these skills, and if you know Python, that’s even better as it will give you an added advantage. If machine learning interests you later, you can explore that as well. Building a strong portfolio with practical projects will be key. If you can showcase your skills effectively, that will help you restart your career.
To become a data scientist after the 12th, the best approach is to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics. During your degree, focus on building a strong foundation in programming (especially Python), data analysis, and mathematics. It’s also helpful to take courses or certifications in data science, machine learning, and data visualization during or after your degree. While studying, work on projects to build a portfolio that showcases your skills. Internships or hands-on experience in data-related roles can also be valuable for getting real-world exposure. The key is to continuously learn and practice by solving problems, and over time, you’ll be well-prepared to transition into a data science role.
My final year project focused on the utilization of fly ash in the cement industry. We analyzed the total fly ash generated by thermal power plants across India and identified major cement industries along with their fly ash requirements. By considering parameters such as travel distance, time, and required quantity, we developed an optimized supply distribution model to determine how fly ash should be allocated from power plants to cement industries.
I personally don’t know which is the best institute, but I would recommend choosing one that offers a job guarantee specifically in the field of data science if you’re opting for one. This is because the field is competitive, and almost all the learning materials are readily available online for free.
People from any field can learn and pursue a career in data science, but it depends on the skills you acquire and the effort you put in. It will be challenging, but many people from diverse backgrounds have successfully transitioned into this field. I’d suggest starting with data analysis and visualization tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI. Once you’re comfortable, you can move on to Python and, if you find it interesting, explore machine learning and advanced topics. Focus on building practical projects as you learn.

Good question! Prompt engineering and data science are connected through AI and machine learning. Prompt engineering focuses on crafting inputs to get desired outputs from AI models, like ChatGPT, while data science involves analyzing and modeling data to solve problems. Both require understanding data and how AI models work, making them complementary skills.

I’m not sure about specific salaries as they can vary a lot for different people. But according to Glassdoor, the average salary for a data scientist in India is around 12 Lakhs annually. These amounts can vary depending on factors like location and skill level. You can check out more details here.
