Is it just me, but I felt like the SG episode (compared to other RM overseas eps) was such a disappointment. It felt like they had no time, chose “easy” places to film, and even their game mechanic was so flat and not exactly creative… I just felt they did not “contextualise” or curate the episode enough. Even the visit to Mandai Zoo was an abrupt weird insertion, the games they did had nothing to do with the venue at all. Unlike their earlier episodes filmed in Bangkok, Vietnam and more. 😢

However, if it's busking would be a different story. For busking, buskers have to obtain license from the government before able to perform at the streets. This episode is kinda bland tbh. Hyung in PD need to be more creative. Doesn't matter with talking/playing games. Somehow it felt like a lil bit rushing. They cut lot of things also. Overseas episode should be more fun and chaos. But the concept were same as shooting in korea. Put some plot twist/embarassing punishment to make it more fun. There were so many reference to look as running man always shoots overseas. It's a lil bit different without sominieeeee. The ais kacang with durian is basically red beans shaved ice with durian but the pd simply just say it's durian juice... Is it just me, but I felt like the SG episode (compared to other RM overseas eps) was such a disappointment. It felt like they had no time, chose “easy” places to film, and even their game mechanic was so flat and not exactly creative… I just felt they did not “contextualise” or curate the episode enough. Even the visit to Mandai Zoo was an abrupt weird insertion, the games they did had nothing to do with the venue at all.
Unlike their earlier episodes filmed in Bangkok, Vietnam and more. 😢

Technically begging is illegal in SG though. (You can do a quick Google search with this act's name 'DESTITUTE PERSONS ACT 1989') and it actually states that begging is actually illegal and you can actually get fined or jailed if caught. However, if it's busking would be a different story. For busking, buskers have to obtain license from the government before able to perform at the streets. Similarly even for those people who're selling tissues on the streets, by right they should have a licence before even selling them on the streets.
