Gary are marrying his girlfriend therefore coming into Running Man might make Monday Couple seems weird so he probably choose not coming back again. But with Kwang Soo hes got no problem at all for coming back as a guest, also the situation when gary leave was kinda not good and unexpected meanwhile Kwang Soo leaving is as Bo Pil said not a sudden decision, he probably thought about this since he involved in the car crash.

Jihyo is someone with less words but when she wrote a long letter for the second time, I couldn't hold back my tears. Kwangmong moments will forever be cherished.
Jaesuk, Jongkook,Jihyo, Sechan letters are very emotional and brought tears in an instant.The other members letters were simple and still touching. Also the way kwangsoo couldn't hold back and cried when reading letters from members is very heart warming. The older hyungs and maknae line tried their best to make kwangsoo happy and win the prizes.
But all along it was kwangsoo who bought presents for members, Also how he picked the gifts perfectly to each member says a lot about their closeness and bonding. His love for members is immense

i appreciate his effort but if i had to choose between variety and acting, i would go for him getting recognition in acting instead. i hate to say this but participating in rm is slowly but surely harming an actor/actress's career. if his plan for the future is pursuing a successful career in acting, then it is about time for him to make a move. he is 37 soon as a responsible man he will be starting to get worried because he must be thinking what kind of future lies ahead if he sticks to variety. same thing applies to somin too i followed her since her early dramas way before she joined rm but ever since that people just tag her as rm's somin which saddens me alot. jihyo is same too.

After So Min joined King Kong Starship, we barely see any of their interaction. After all it is just a speculation and us as a fans should just focus on screen, not behind the screen.
If i want to add another speculation, their agency maybe want to limit So Min and Kwang Soo screentime as a duo because So Min joined King Kong after Kwang Soo Car Accident, as they were both at the same agency maybe the talk of Kwang Soo leaving Running Man for the sake of their health already there after his car crash. Seeing the maknae line cry made me broke in tears kwangsoo basically helped them adapt into running man when they first joined if it wasn’t for him they would have still felt awkward but kwangsoo always supported them as much as they also supported kwangsoo throughout the years

So here we are. Honestly, who knew? After all the planes they flew, and the things they've been through, that Kwang-soo would be sitting right there writing to us, about another path. The crew all knew they loved to hit the road and laugh. However, after that car accident, something told them that it wouldn't last, and they had to switch up, look at things different and see the bigger picture. Oh well, those were the days, hard work forever pays, now Kwang-soo will be in a better place.
Kwang-soo went out of his way to make the show amazing for us. When the show first started, the vibe was feeling strong within the members. They started small, but what's small turned to a friendship, a friendship turned to a bond, and that bond will never be broken, and the love will never be lost. And when brother/sisterhood came first, the line will never be crossed. The cast, the PDs and all the fans established it on their own when unfortunately, the line had to be drawn. And that line is what we all reached, so we'll remember Kwang-soo when he is gone.
Finally, and of course, how could Jae-suk, Jong-kook, Ji Hyo, Suk-jin, Haha, Se-chan and So Min not talk about family when family's all that they've got? Everything Kwang-soo would do and went through, they were standing there by his side, and now they're gonna be with him for the last ride.

Actually Jae Suk is really sad, he trying hold his sadness from episode 557 in that episode Jae Suk become really passive even when he trying to laugh but his laugh followed by sadness and his expression is more sadder than this episode.
What's even more sad is episode 557 created by Ha Ha kids (Dream) and Dream told to Jae suk, he need to cut off others member like he use to do to Kwang Soo after he left.
Could you imagine lossing your Little Brother and cannot meet very often because he quit from the show? Specially Kwang Soo and Jae Suk is really busy person too.
That feeling is really similar, like when one of your family suddenly move abroad and cannot meet up very often but still contact eachother via telephone.

“Sechan was Kwangsoo’s happiness.” Gosh that made me cry so hard. I didn’t expect Sechan to be this emotional but I cried so hard whenever he’s on screen.

I'm pretty sure all the running man member and kwang soo himself would have wanted to be together when the show does come to an end but like jae suk said in the end of the ep that unfortunately "life doesn't always go as we plan". To be honest, you're the main reason I watch Running Man every week. You have a character there as a coward, betrayer and a bit of stupid. But I/we know that you just do these things for the sake of entertainment. In contrast, you are brave, loyal and genius which you often times display on the screen. Other than that you always take care first of the people around you rather yourself the latest episode is the proof of that. Even guests and common people that comes there that is why perhaps female idols really like to be with you because you treat them as a friend and as a sister.
Every Monday starting next week will be different because you're not there anymore because you exceed everyone's expectations humor. You made Running Man interesting sir and you did one heck of a job with your work ethic and dedication that's unmatched.

Time flies so fast that we end up not realizing we're growing older each day and what make it special is that we have runningman that grows old with us together. Runningman had become a home for us where we can both laugh and cry together. Spent all my 20s watching Running Man for 11 years now. Can't believe it's here. Couldn't hold back the tears the moment I saw Song ji hyo crying. Breaks my heart, he's been the laughter of my Sunday. I remember struggling to find the English subs when the show started 11 years ago. Have never missed an episode with Kwang soo. Will truly miss Lee Kwang Soo!
The hyungs are the most composed. They already experienced these kind of occasions many times. And it doesn't make it any easier for them, it is never easy. It's just they become better in hiding their feelings.

I have a feeling Kwang Soo blame himself for the show rating. And I absolutely agree with Jae Suk if that's what really happen. It's no one's fault at all. Some viewers these days might prefer something else. Not to mention, in my opinion, the show is never boring at all. Every episode is still entertaining to watch.

Today, after nearly 1 year, I cried even more than the day I first watched this episode.
Kwangsoo ya, you're truly the source of my, and everyone's joys, I believe. Just like what you said in your letter, you didn't do well in every second of the past 11 years, however, you really did your best. And that is what I really admire you for. Thank you for being yourself and bring tons of laughter to us, thank you for being there, being the hyungs and Jihyo noona's little brother, and also the big brother of the maknaes. You'll always be missed ❤❤❤

i want somin to leave tho. because she doesnt deserve all the hates she has been receiving from some jihyo fans out there. i said some not all. also i dont want a talented actress like somin get stuck in runningman for too long and jeopardizing her acting career. running man is not the kind of show an actor/actress should go for it is too big and certainly takes a heavy toll on someone's career who aint full time comedian.

@@whyahh well if somin want to focus her career to variety show more than her acting then it is good to her to stay, she also join jae suk show in the mbc which we can ensure that her career in variety show will be bright. All the hate she get and also the hate to sechan is just the old fans are too obsessive to nostalgia of the OG running man and they did not understand on how variety work. If we can see from the early episodes of rm, the guest have been overshadowed by the member itself because the member need more screentime to establish themselves and their character for the viewers which also can apply during sechan and somin early days in running man as the member give them more screentime to make the maknaes establish themselves in running man too but fans did not understand that and only bash with hate them without any explanation.

Thank you Lee Kwang Soo for all the years of laughter and joy. I am glad to have discovered running man that brought me into the k-show/drama/movie and pop scene. I am truly happy that I can finally see how wonderful of a person you are during this final episode, and how much you mean to the members and staff.
The hyungs did their best to send you off with a smile, because they didnt want you feeling sad about leaving, and also preventing others from crying as well. The members all shared their final moments with Kwang Soo on set.
Sukjin - feel touch cross, and just smiling every time he sees Kwangsoo
Jaesuk- always teasing him and trying to lighten the mood
Jongkook - vocally voicing his moral support, and had his arm around kwangsoo
Haha - teasing kwangsoo and voicing his moral support
Jihyo - crying and was in distraught, as she is known to cry
Somin - crying and talked about not having to worry for the show
Sechan - crying as kwang soo was his support
I strongly believe that Kwang Soo was the glue to running man. He had formed a great relationship with everyone on set, that no matter what the location or scene was if kwang soo was there, it would already be fun and entertaining itself no matter who paired up with him. Even the PD was crying in the early scenes of the episode. Sukjin was about to leave the show, but thanks to the character development with kwang soo with the feel, touch, cross he decided to stay. He almost broke down upon hearing that the presents were actually from Kwang Soo himself, but composed himself again.Jaesuk even tried to lighten the mood, while scanning the room as he did not want Kwang Soo to feel even more sad. When he said "It wasn't boring because of you" was not only implied on Running man but also his life. It hit me extra hard. Jongkook, the one that is always nagging, did not nag at all this episode, as you can feel how sad he really is without even saying. He was acting as the emotional pillar of support this episode, with his arm around him. Haha, normally would just keep feeding others for funny content while being respectful was a spectator today, and kept trying to enjoy every last moment while watching Kwang Soo. He was seen repeatedly looking up with tears in his eyes but he tried his best to hold back. Jihyo did extremely well today, as we all know she cries a lot. She did her best to send Kwang Soo off, as he was also the reason for her staying on the show. He held onto her when she didnt feel like she fit in with all the guys when she was the only female cast on the show. Kwang soo helped build Somin's character as the female counterpart/ love interest when guests came on the show. Also the crazy/ fun part. And sechan, with countless moments of the two. Kwang Soo had helped him build his character as another love interest when guest arrive. But the shy kind and not knowing what to do gave many laughs.
Finally Kwang Soo, I know how nice of a person he is, but today on set he finally showed his true self. Where he picked all the food/ locations of where all the members had the best times and not himself. He bought presents and actively tried to get the same number of pictures because he wanted the presents to be delivered on the show, and he knows it would be hard to do in person as they might not accept it. He was trying to hold in his tears the entire episode, and smiled to try and hide it. You can feel the warmth he gives to the members and cast.
Although I am sad about his departure. I am glad to have found him and the Running man show.
Have you guys noticed, in all of their letters it was "You can do whatever you want now without penalties now" .But as for his reasoning (injury), and the recent post of the Korean entertainment hierarchy, I would be utterly disgusted if the real reason was because of that. Because he is portrayed a certain way on the shows, therefore whenever he gets cast in drama or movies his character remains the same, so once he leaves the show he can obtain a new image. And that may be the reason he is so sorry to the running man crew. So in their letters they all said now you can do whatever you dream of. As a way to let him know, dont worry about us and go achieve what you wanted to achieve as an actor. And come visit us "i.e when you promote these dramas/movies"

They should've add that clip of kwangsoo and jungkook trying not to laugh in the episode where there's yondu ajhuma selling fish bread.
What should i do? I keep thinking about this episode and i’ve cried too many times. Never thought that this will hurt me so bad. Like Haha said, “it’s because you did your best and showed incredible amount of effort that so many viewers are upset and sad as we are”.

I cried for each letter. My heart broke at every sentence. Jongkook drawing to keep distracted from his emotions also broke me. And I was also surprised at Kwangsoos presents for the members. I should've known haha. I love you KWANGSOO!!!

Never tot this cud happen esp when the most prominent member in RM biding farewell earlier than d others. Thank you for your hardwork & memories shown for the past 11 years. Thank you for putting smiles on our face all these while. We grow with you..with all of you guys, the RM siblings 💔🙍🏼♀️
