Yeah, but still lots of turkish airlines and lack of pacific/australian/south american airlines. Paris/London/Frankfurt are still bigger in airline diversity
@@readyfordepartureyeah but it has some exotic little airlines especially from north African and middle eastern countries that you don’t see in European and North American airports ! It’s true that there are more airlines in European and American airports but it’s always the same famous airlines from famous countries usually
@@sammanzouri3492 you are totally right about middle east flights and well i can admit that it's now one of the small amount of airports where u can see variety of Russian airlines.
I'm a Turkish and i come the gas station at there. It's really crazy, you are feeling so weird. The plane is passing really too much near of you. If i wave, the pilot can see :D
As said in description it was Terminal B (highest left corner of Airport if look on the map).. from that point you can walk between two windows - one has great spot for landings on 35LR and another one catch take off from these runways. Last part of video with A340 taken at F terminal (F Gates) almost at similar mirrored location. Btw windows at F more dirty. It's crazy airport, i would love to plane spot outside of it or at official spotting place if possible ( somebody says it works on saturdays)
And especially the fact that there isn't that much of an outside place to spot the plane starting to take off. Mainly because the airport was built in a rather wilderness.
no :( thee was one Iraqi Airways airplane landing/take off at this day hour before my arrival :( I wish i can see such beauty as Dreamliner in Iraqi Airways livery... Maybe next time i visit Istanbul

What I like about this airport is that you see airlines from all over the world ! Even some you never see in other countries ! It’s a real Hub !
