*Fun Fact:* The 1933 Invisible Man's laughter when he removes his mask in front of the mobs is the main influence to Mark Hamill for the vocal role of the Joker from _Batman: The Animated Series._

She needs to learn how to use a mic! I was listening to the podcast and turned it off because I couldn’t hear what was saying at all. Turned it on here and same thing.

PLEASE either turn the mic volume up or speak louder. I'm only hearing every other word Haleigh is saying and my volume is turned all the way up.

Bingo! I listen to the podcast, and this episode was the worst. Please speak into the microphone or touch up the audio before its posted. My finger remained on the dial to crank it up when she spoke, and then crank it down when he spoke. He was loud and clear, but I could only catch a few words here and there from her. It was that bad.

SPOILERS! Great show, loved hearing your takes on Inivisible Man ending because it is the polar opposite of mine. I loved the film and wasn't expecting to like it as much because 'abused victim' stories never get resolved in a manner that pleases me personally. Most people, including me, will say (just like Haleigh did) 'I would kill those that hurt my loved ones'. And we may or may not in reality, who knows until we're faced with it, but we rarely see it done in film in a vicious vengeful way. This film gave me that and I relished it so much. The brother scenario felt like a missed beat but it led that excellent payoff at the end. When Adrian is not remorseful or acknowledging his wrongs - why would he? He is a cold heartless man who sees his actions as warranted; it's how most people like that really are and again I loved it.
Almost forgot.. as for what's next. I completely didn't see it your way there either. I saw it as she took control of the situation and as a victim, will use this 'power' to help others. A future 'hero' or vigilante storyline, I love those types of films, like The Equalizer with Denzel, awesome!
I see often that society in general just wants a criminally horrible person to admit their wrong and they'll forgive them (in most cases, not always). Adrian was a horrible person and earned his horrible end. Evil should be put down, not let loose to do it again or locked up as a burden to society (hot take, I suppose). Side note: thankful for this early VOD, saved me some money and didn't have to wait for a few months.

    2 things....
1 randomly I think Haleigh is cute & 2 I believe the Upgrade made an impact in that it brings back originality in movies. No sequels, no franchises, no design universes. Just one good movie from middle to end.

If would have opened with him being super sweet, then she escapes layer that night it would've made the ending way more interesting. We would've been left trying to decide, was he really that abusive horrible person. Was the brother really pulling strings or was she the villain of piece!

Vanessa Williams is reprising her role from the first movie. According to IMDB Yahya's character has some relation to her character. If he's playing her grown up son it could be a continuation of his story as he was the baby in peril from the first movie. I'm looking forward to it!

Haleigh looks like she’s speaking in Matt’s direction and not into the mic, and this is a problem.

the name of Adrian's company in The Invisible Man is Cobalt, yes? Does this mean that Upgrade is tangentially connected through that company? Asha, Grey's girlfriend, works for a company named Cobalt in that movie.
also i swear there is an image of jigsaw at one point on a fence that can be quickly seen in a set of car headlights. am i crazy?

Haleigh is the perfect mix of brains and sexy. Good Lord, I cant take my eyes off of her, and I hang on her every word. The woman KNOWS HER STUFF, and puts so much thought into her opinions and observations! She and the MASTERFUL Perri are a dream team, and The Witching Hour is the best creative idea Collider has put together in YEARS! And I've been here since the AMC years. I hope you ladies FIGHT for this show if Colliders haphazard new directions attempt to sideline this show, like all the other DOPENESS we've lost.
