eeiko321 A4 and S4 are built on the same platform so it should be as long as it is the same generation, i.e a B8 and so forth as well as trim i.e the MMI control switches being on the center console or on top of the climate control. These things could effect your installation process.
Does anyone know where to find the instructions on how to remove a 2008 Audi S5 reverse detent and how to adjust the shift rods if they were removed without marking them?thanks in advance !
You made that look easier than it is. The trim around the gear stick will not pop out!
Using a plastic pry tool you can remove the leather boot without having to take out the A/C control unit or center console piece.

It could have been much easier. You don't have to remove the console, just pull the shift knob up after removing the clamp.

how would you remove the u-shaped brushed metal (plastic) trim around the shifter console?
Look up a few guides, it's a pain in the ass since you'll have to remove a bunch of bolts around the console.
yup... lol i found that out... going to carbon fiber wrap it while its still installed and when i have the money i will get the REAL cf parts lol
