My deepcool ak620 air cooler came in yesterday 💀

And??? They're shipping air coolers and fans, not missiles...🤦♂️
@@ziofascistssuck we know
I bought ID cooling Frozn A610 instead

Sounds like an Apple-OpenAI marriage. Hopefully there won’t be a huge acrimonious divorce in the future.
Actually Apples idea is polygamy because it's just chatGPT being used an extension, and they've said any model could be swapped in in the future haha
My 2 least favourite things in one place just makes it easier to ignore them.
Hot News vs Cold News, which would win?!
Cold news, 2nd law of thermodynamics
A point of clarification about the Deep Cool situation. It stops any American entity from purchasing directly from Deep Cool. It doesn't stop purchases from third party vendors. Only when it gives money to Deep Cool is it an issue. That means you could still buy things from eBay or Craigslist just fine. If I understand it correctly, that also means any place like Microcenter or Amazon who directly purchased stock from Deep Cool to resell will have limited stock. But once that stock is gone, they won't be able to sell anymore.
So long as the products were wholly purchased previous to the sanction and no additional money is intended to flow back after purchase.
You can still buy them it just has to be purchased from a non US citizen then sold to the US citizen. Deep Cool ==> 3rd party ==> US buyer.
Don't feel like that needed clarification.
@@archivesincomplete I'm happy for you 👍
3:28 they're tee'd up for a hell of a marketing campaign
"we make a cooler so good it was a threat to the US government"
Red vs Blue
Just how I like it.
RIP Deep Cool, you made great looking air coolers that I've had my eye on for awhile :(
Don't worry for them, they will still make good products for the rest of the world.
Yeah I have two neptwin v2 a in my systems from them. Was going to go with a Deepcool MATX case from them for my daughters build but I guess not now
@@voice5sur5 thank god
They will be back under a different company name in a month, like all other Chinese brands.
@@VoldoronGaming it’s good to know they may not be gone from my market permanently, i like alot their products
Originally i thought this was about amd comparing their 5800xt and 5900xt cpus to intels 13600kf and 13700k showing amds cpus slightly beating intels cpu. The problem is that they used ddr4 memory and an rx 6600 gpu.
Well that's clearly misleading benchmarks
Why didnt they compare to the 14700k and 14900k, is my question
@@Cyberpunk_2023 they are am4 refresh cpus. They couldnt perform anywhere close to the 13700k or 13600kf as intels cpus are a generation newer.
@@geekmechanic1473 Ahh, makes sense. Thanks for the insight bro!
You can't use ddr5 with am4
This is a good reminder for everyone to wait for third party testing and benchmarks as companies will bend the truth to match what they want to showcase.

You know your newer products is bad when you have to gimping your competitor products to make your product looks "good" or "better". It's a clear sign Amd know their Zen 5 gonna be destroyed badly by Intel Arrow Lake because Intel gonna bring insane Lion Cove P core and Skymont E core.
would love to see how good or , even just usable the x86 emulation is , most app I use is still x86 some I doubt would ever get a ARM version tbh , so if the arm emulation sucks I doubt I would be switching to it anytime soon.
Microcenter pulled all the deep cool products off the shelf immediately
Woah. I have a DeepCool AIO.... feels like having a Cuban cigar.
Me too, I have a mystique 360!
Hey Bret great video, and long time subscriber.
I wonder what happens if one of the AIs start to miss behave...will it be able to reprimand or fire it's self ?? 🤣
Intel allegedly said that those AMD benchmarks were so far off that they were worthy of Principled Technologies.
😊
Would definitely be interested in a Snapdragon X review!
And this is why even after intel recommended power limits hassle I m happy with team blue over team red😂😅😊
meanwhile at intel....lets compare our mobile chip against amd but we actualy use a dGpu and the amd version only runs on the iGpu....or or even better, to show how much faster our new cores are, we take a new quadcore and compare it against a older dualcore and then claim that the new cores are MUCH FASTER...and so on
You know your newer products is bad when you have to gimping your competitor products to make your product looks "good" or "better". It's a clear sign Amd know their Zen 5 gonna be destroyed badly by Intel Arrow Lake because Intel gonna bring insane Lion Cove P core and Skymont E core
@@runninginthe90s75 oh this fanboys...why are you not able to learn from your mistakes
Microcenter at least en masse cancelled all orders (both in-store and for shipment) for Deepcool products and pulled all the Deppcool products that were still in the company's possession from the shelves the second they got news of the sanctions. So they at least thought that continuing to sell any remaining stock was too much of a risk to attempt.
I never trust Intel and AMD cpu test only the trusted third party testers
That's science!
As we should!
The problem with MS recall was that it was originally enabled by default and not encrypted. Afik there was always the option to shut it off.

AMD: AI made this possible
No Bret, I couldn't care less about Snapdragon if I'm honest, Recall (don't trust it to ever be deactivated regardless of settings) is why I will never own a snapdragon Laptop as they don't come without it, so personally I don't really care about them.
Qualcomm are just another ''Apple'' to me wanting to kill ''Tech interest'' making it boring to work on & look at with, a poor upgrade path & zero repairability.
Basically like ''Apple'', Qualcomm just want you to buy a ''New One'' every year, sit down & shut up.
So for me they go against everything I love about Tech so when it comes to Qualcomm & Apple... I'm out!
Recall will come to everything soon though. It's just a deal for Qualcomm to be first to have it. It will also run x86 CPUs, both mobile and desktop, and graphics cards soon. Unfortunately you can't outrun it forever. You will be forced into Windows 11 with all the features they want you to have unless you go without the security updates.
😶😶😶
Snapdragon cpu running linux would be massive. No copilot, no problems.
Definetly want a review on the X Elite, especially the Lenovo one, but anything is good (maybe not samsungs, as theres currently some firmware issues with them).
Battery life tests would be awesome
Isn't Recall opt-out?
Microsoft essentially owns OpenAI's technologies so of course it doesn't mind apple integrating it's AI into their systems. As soon as it becomes integral or at least expected then we'll start seeing money change hands. The first one is always free...
Had to return my Deepcool AK620 and got a LS720M WH for 7800XD
That deepcool news sucks. I just purchased one of their power supply.
ublock puttin on boots
Brett, you got featured in CNN about the AI priest!!!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣
Hey Bret, Reece and crew, maybe UFD should do Reece Deals as UA-cam shorts as well. Keep up the great work. Cheers.
I think Reece would freeze solid if he visited Canada in winter. At least they don't have load shedding.
About the plain text password thing is that if recall is keeping screenshots, how is the password in plain text unless you reveal the password to the screen? Not defending recall btw.
2:30 NOOOOOOOOOOOO
AMD used a 6600XT, it was in the footnotes, that was all they did to make the benchmarks look close in performance, introduced a horrible GPU bottleneck.
Oh great Apple, how much water is lost in cooling the super computer required per inquiry? Horrible environmental news.
If deep cool getting banned, I'm looking forward for their products getting cheaper. They used to be affordable but ever since entering US market, they have been jacking up their prices like there's no tomorrow.
Apple, MS, Google, Facebook, etc, gathering data, is a NO NO, no matter the method.
Will deepcool tech become more valuable now? If so I have a fan for AM5
Ah yes, AMD is now taking their villain arc.😂
I use brave browser on ios and when I use youtube on mobile data it switches to the highest quality, be a real shame if there was a data cap on my plan
Good thing I just got my mounting kit going from am4 to am5 for that very aic lol GOTCHA B
Brett, I'm genuinely curious. Chalk this up to my ignorance, but what exactly is considered cold in South Africa. I always thought it was a reasonably warm place, but after seeing Reece all bundled up makes me think my perception of the weather in South Africa is all wrong.
If you're in the northern hemisphere and are currently at the beginning of summer, they are in winter right now. We are talking 15-20 degrees Celcius (can reach lower), which compared to winter in my country, is still pretty warm. (UK here, winter can reach averagly like 0,1,2 degrees celcius, but may go lower, especially at night)
At this point; what does 9000x chips even do 💀
I guess that answers the question. In order for exposure to be a valid form of payment you need to be as big as Apple lmao.
Please pick up a snapdragon x elite and snapdragon elite laptops
lol i just bought a deepcool cooler for my pc
Wow it is right, the pin comment is 5h and the video is 4h! I Nevers noticed that! The more you know!
for exmp 4060 vs 5060 performance same diference only gddr7
4070 vs 5070 performance same diference only gddr7
I disagree with your take on MS vs Apple. In this case, MS just made a really bad blunder, in fact it's inexplicable to me so far, while Apple is doing the normal "promise a life-changing feature that introduces EXTREME risk while also promising there will be no risk", that's just business-as-usual in bleeding-edge tech and doesn't provide any guarantees at all.
I would love a review of the new Snapdragon chip. There's some strong skepticism of Qualcomm's performance numbers.
Ya I wouldnt be surprised though if the numbers aren't far off in the most performance based laptops at least. I saw the thing about the Samsung Galaxy Book that showed super low results. I think people are jumping the gun, that's probably not a good representation of the chips performance. Every company can implement it how they want. We always should wait for third party reviews regardless of course, can't trust anyone else before that really :)
Same
First, I know you aren't an apple shill, I dunno if you even like them, you are a Hot News/UFD tech shill.
With that out of the way, I have a fundamental distrust of both microsoft and apple, both of these technologies they have set up have the potential for massive security risks and when weighed against what you gain (in my opinion not a lot unless you have really bad memory of your own life and inability to handle simple tasks using your computer or phone) I'm happy that microsoft made theirs better, I'm glad that apple had a moment of forethought in setting this up. However both of them have plentiful records of leaking customer data and I just downright don't believe that they aren't storing something server-side that isn't personally identifying and gleaning data from your use to sell on purpose or leak on accident.
If you don't agree with me I'll make you eat my tinfoil hat.
Don't trust vendor benchmarks. Trust 3rd party benchmarks. Simple as that.
Not even the 3rd party is trustworthy.. i mean not because of the 3rd party faul, but check the RTX 4090 which use 600W+ in benchmark, which is 150W over the value what you get in other apps.. (it's 450W TDP, and games keep that limit, so the extra 30% used power just gives you a false result what you never get in real life, and this is not the 3rd party fault)
Brett is an 'A' shill. The only way to get his respect. 😂
NOOOO DEEPCOOL 😭😭
😂 Brett buy some qualcomm laptop , it’s gonna be fun :D external gpus n stuff 😂 they are rumored not to work ,but I’m sure you find your way 😂
AMD ++++ incoming
Although I was one of the first Apple Customers when I purchased my Apple II back in 1979, I have come to despise the company and do not buy anything Apple as their customer policies are greed driven and unacceptable. They treat people like they are all morons and this policy is insulting to me. The company started as a tech oriented entity that supported the innovators and go-getters in the tech world and then the corporate board members and Steve Jobs got greedy and destroyed the ethics of the company. That's why Steve Wozniak left the company.
Can you please explain how an apu works with a dedicated gpu?
It is just built into the chip
@@HowManySmall I mean, if I already have an APU and then I bought a separate graphics card like the 3060 how and when will both work on desktop?
@@yamenagha4451 Both will work just fine. The APU will use the video outs on the motherboard and the Dgpu like the 3060 will use the video outs on the card itself. In laptops it's a bit different and you would have to select which one to use.
@@yamenagha4451 An APU will work just like any other CPU if you want to use a dedicated graphics card. Haven't done it myself, but I do own a couple APUs myself. When using the integrated graphics, you have to have your video cable plugged in to the motherboard. When using the dedicated graphics card, have it plugged in to the card. Now, what I am not fully sure of is you may have to go into the BIOS to tell it which graphics you plan to use, integrated versus dedicated. I don't know if just popping in the card then plugging the cable in the card is all that is needed as well. The other thing I am also not sure of is if you can use both integrated and dedicated at the same time with separate monitors. So, if you want to use a 3060 with an APU, it will basically be no different than using a CPU without integrated graphics.
I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated
You need an expert. I'm guided by Adviser Bruce Murdock a widely known consuitant.

On the AI note Intel was the AI company before GPUs were used for AI compute. So everything AI was on an Intel x86 chip. Now they are competing with nVidia for which will be used for AI compute CUDA + Tensor or x86 + whatever the NPU instruction set will be named publicly. So it is in Intel's best interest to show that there are workloads that their x86 chips do better than nVidia CUDA chips do. AMD well they do not own an instruction set.
I think you need to put down the pipe...AMD has AMD64 instruction set that Intel license's from them. Put down the pipe.
@@kevinsteinman8967 that is just an extension to the x86 instruction set. AMD64 is a L1 instruction kind of more like a group of instructions to make the 32-bit CPU able to run 64-bit code. Still the CPU is 32-bit and AMD64 is listed under L1 instruction alike to SSE and AVX are also L1 instructions.
@@yumri4 Yea you need to put the pipe down.
@@kevinsteinman8967 You sound like you know nothing about how CPUs work. Go read a book over over x86 history or how x86 compilers work. They both will tell you that x86 is an instruction set. The history one will say that AMD64 is how AMD got 64-bit code to run on their x86 CPUs while the compiler book will depend. Some will say which flag to set to make a 64-bit output as default is 32-bit while others will have it as a toggle button or checkbox in the most times optional GUI
@@yumri4 Buddy I worked with the developer's of the AMD64 code so I damn well know what the heck is going on and how processors work...good day and put the pipe down.

I'm going to buy some Deep Cool stuff right now! All this Russia Russia stuff in the media is a bunch of BS...
Funny how Intel is crying, "that's not fair...boohoo :(..." when they are the worst of the 3 when it comes to being honest about their benchmarks. I don't care how anyone spins this. Even Steve from GN has confronted them in the past. It is disappointing that AMD is doing this even if they historically are not as shady. Its a bad move from their marketing dept (period).
I still find it patently absurd that a company can be told not to sell to people in a country we aren't (supposedly, although our current potato in chief's admin seems bound and determined to start WW3) at war with, and penalized for doing so. It's literal politically based interference in the freemarket, and could EASILY be argued ot be a freedom of association/freedom of speech violation.
