Just the other day I was sitting on the tractor (contemplating life's various sundries) when I realized diesel was leaking out of the hose leading to the tractor's fuel pump... I needed a bucket and I needed it fast. Now, I guess I could have used a dust pan but we're talking about a 5 gallon fuel tank that probably had 3 gallons in it at the time.

I went yo the dollar tree and to my surprise they had devices just like the one you made here, I believe they call it a dust pan, even came with the giant floor brush you used here to go with it, only costed me 1.25, I didn't have to destroy my bucket and was able to dump the trash into there and empty it out later, so basically I can transform my bucket into a trash can at will, it really works better as a trash can in my opinion instead of a cheap piece of junk dust pan that everyone laughs at

    • @karlsjunior466

Ain't no dollar tree in that part of Mexico. Plus your 1.25 can feed this family for a day if done right. Most Mexicans make less than $10 a day. Imagine spending 1/10th of your income on a dust pan when you can make one. This guy is doing it right. Recycle, reuse. I guarantee he didnt spend a dime on this bucket. And i bet the stick and screws were free/recycled too. Mexicans use things till they fall apart, then a different Mexican will pick it out of the garbage and make something else out of it. The cycle continues until things are all used up.
You, on the other hand are a consumer with enough money to just throw away I guess. Don't look down on this guy. He is smarter than you.
