  • The Lakers and Pelicans were in a great play-in battle which required a lot of strategic adjustments. With the Lakers exposing the Pelicans initial gameplan, Willie Green made some creative adjustments to get them back in it.

    The Sixers and Heat were a good chess match too took me back to the old raptor/heat matchups that always went to the wire. Nick Nurse and Erik Spoelstra are such great coaches.

      Thinking Basketball also is one of the best, Bballbreakdown also very good, but he is too biased and shows it. Daniel Li and Thinking Basketball are the true goats imo

    would love to see a video where you're watching a game in real time and rewinding things and talking out loud about what exactly you're seeing.
    I don't know any youtubers who do that btw.
    Most just have a short 5-10min video but i'd love to see a longer format. :)

    I'm super impressed with this breakdown. The way you bring lessons learned in previous games and season long tendencies into the analysis, fantastic! From other breakdowns i didn't fully understand why the Pelicans made so many defensive errors on the weak side but you highlighting the low man - backcut dance makes it very clear.

    Everybody is talking about Zions injury - imagine if ANY OTHER PLAYER on the pels except for zion and GTA showed up.
    i was ready to physically assault BI after he tried to shoot over AD for the 5th time from the same left elbow spot

    • @leonhardable
      @leonhardable 12 днів тому +1

      (and i singled out BI, but both CJ and valancunis showed why they have no real trade value, too)
      these three clowns together shot 9/34 with no defensive impact and had 6 TOV to 10 AST
      put zion and GTA on a g-league team and this game plays out the same

    Do you think if Zion doesn't get hurt, their off-script plan could have worked? And gone against their anti-clutchness this season?

      Well Reaves ran those final 2 plays perfectly, you have to wonder what would have happened if Jones was guarding him iso mccollum

    Idk man not putting ingram in the game seems like a terrible move to me even if he struggled earlier once zion got injured you gotta put in ingram.

  • @maryblaylock958

    They didn't outsmart them. The refs outcheated them with bogus calls. As many foul that were called in the Lakers favor, they should have won by at least 10 or 15 points. That shows that the Lakers eouldn't win many games at all, if the refs didn't help them out. How bad would they be if not for favoritism.
