He's probably the best at taking corners with him being a drifting pro and all
han was easily the best drifter of the crew and drift raced his life.
That's because Han was the drift racer while everyone else was a plain street racer. In order to avoid the camera they would need to keep the car unfollow the straight lines as long as possible and Han did it with his best experience but when he knew he still got caught once he concluded if he couldn't make it nobody else ever will

I feel like they tried to make up for it with the race scene in Fast X, showcasing the race back in Brazil and having the Charger VS Porsche in the race. But still, it want the same. That race ended up being a subplot to the explosives and was full of comedy instead of action.

Different car lol. The one in this scene is a '70 Charger minus the hood top supercharger. The one in part 1 had one. Oh, and the Charger vs Supra race scene in part 1 didn't crash into the train, it crashed into the front of an 18-wheeler after barely passing the train lol.

Great cars but for tight corners like that you need something compact, agile and fast. GTR and Lotus Exiege come to mind, both handle incredibly well more so the Lotus because it weighs next to nothing.

Never noticed it till now but the supra they showed in this scene testing the speed is the same one Brian was looking at in the first few minutes of him and Dom getting out of the charger and looking for cars. The small details 😬
