No one is saying the fight was a barn burner but to say he did nothing worthy of attention is minimizing his toughness. When was the last time we saw a fight like this? Ben Askren was knocked out in 4 seconds. Over the next few days he was doing interviews everywhere. Did he do anything significant? This kid is as tough as they come and has an incredible story.

      @@obi-wankenobi592 fighting/performing can come naturally to anyone thats been doing it all their life. It’s muscle memory. Don’t even gotta think twice about it. When you’re in the moment and gotta put words together to answer questions on the spot, it’s different. He’s not used to all the media stuff. There are a lot of quiet people that are great fighters

      CTE doesnt normally affect your speech until around the age of 45. Watch boxers like Thomas Hearns. In his 30s he sounded normal. He retired in his 30s sounding normal and by his 40s he couldnt form a sentence.

The better fighter doing a great job but having a hard time finishing his opponent then the dude who you thought was gonna get knocked out about 5 times or more during the fight comes out of nowhere with the KO. O’Malley just got no power. If those were actually hard hits, that dudes face would look way worse 6 days after the fight!
