I was baptized around age 12, but I did it mostly I think because my brother and sister were doing it. Post baptism I began my descent into the deepest level of depravity I've ever reached in my life. Clearly I didn't understand the call of the gospel to "not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind" in Christ. But God didn't give up on me, and he kept drawing me to himself. I'm 21 now, and while I'm unsure of when I first truly trusted in Jesus, I know Him and I know he has given me eternal life! Glory to God! I just thought I'd share some of my story with you to encourage you. God is faithful and just. Trust in him and he will show himself more and more to you.
Father, we praise you for your goodness, and we know that you are beyond rejoicing when one person repents and trust in your Son. Protect this your child in Christ. Empower, equip, encourage, and guide her with your loving hand. Nurture her with the pure milk of the word and complete the work you began in her. Protect her from the enemy and from deceit. Give her righteousness, wisdom, joy, love, and peace in the Holy Spirit. Reveal yourself more and more to her and make her the person you want her to be. Amen! :D

I was at the Christ Tomlin concert in Ocala, Florida on Sunday night...hearing him sing this live and singing along with him with my brothers and sisters in Christ was unforgettable.
