Its important to have a relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Went through a depression last year that lasted 3-4 months. Trying to k*ll myself 3 different times. I was saved by God. Christ heard my cries. For months I will hear "its ok I forgive you. I understand".... but that wasnt God, because months laters I was in my kitchen it was quiet I heard a voice, "The voice you been hearing is not my voice". Some other things happened after that. But I cried like a baby. I felt like the weight of the world was lifted. The grace and mercy I felt was overwhelming. And I cried and cried and cried because I felt like I didn't deserve it, because its way better people that deserve it. I cried out "this not my life I give my life to you God". I the Christ for restoring me, because alcohol and my cussing was removed and not because anything I did but the work of the Holy Spirit. Its more just too much to type. Jesus died for our sins and I am a witness of the love God has for us all. Repent and change your ways while you still have time.

After relocating I went to a church I thought was following the narrow path, but then they asked for volunteers to do trunk or treat, last weekend of October, which looks to me like a Halloween substitute. Right away I thought of 1Corinth 10:21, "ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils..." I never went back. If a Christian thinks it's okay, then it is their choice, and on their conscience, but I am steering clear. Especially after I already repented for years of this ignorance, bringing my kid out for this unholy celebration. Scripture says to stay separate from this world, and not to be lukewarm. The people there are all very nice, and think it's okay to "trunk or treat" but I personally am not backsliding into any form of pagan (un) holidays, after coming to repentance and the truth of the gospel of Jesus. People need to look at the roots. I also gave up yoga, after 20 years, since it is Hindu worship. Is going along with trunk or treat a salvation issue? Please tell me what you think. God bless. My spirit is bearing witness with everything that you are teaching and speaking on. I believe that these messages are for such a time as this.. And I am encouraged to stand alongside of you and to pray for you - that you will have all of the support and encouragement that you need - that you will not allow the accolades or the draw of power to sway you away from the target, the goal, the purpose for which God is calling you to this hour.
This message really hit home for some things that I have been thinking about for awhile. Some people get too legalistic and others get so casual with their faith.
