I absolutely fell in love with mine once I shot it!
The 350 Legend rifles are short lightweight low recoiling inexpensive ammo points fast... and will knock the snot out of the biggest buck in the woods inside 200 yards.
I harvested a big bodied pennsylvania eight point this past season and my brother's nephew downed a huge 10 point with his. Both one shot one kill.. both didn't go past thirty yards.. both complete pass through... I definitely recommend the 350 Legend.
Is there better? No deer like it that's for sure!
Cody, where did you get that cheek rest/shell holder? Would look good on my new Singleshot in 45/70
Thanks for the video. Been wanting one of these. Here in Mississippi we can use this during primitive weapons season. No more need for a muzzleloader 😎👍
350 Legend has been on the shelves constantly around me.
Saw several boxes of 350 legend rounds at my local walmarts. Might go buy them and buy me a Henry 350 legend rifle.
I would love to see the Henry Long Ranger chambered in .350 Legend.
Right! So they don't have to worry about the pointed bullets.
@@trainstanksandhistory.5721 Most 350 legend bullets aren’t pointed. And the ballistic tip on the hornady ammo is safe for tubes, they already make a pointed 30-30 round.
@@nickschaps4022 only problem is the winchester 150gr xp ballistic tip it has a hard polymer tip so they will not be able to chamber a standard tube magazine rifle because of that reason.
Not certain but I think the Henry will do better by not bouncing the barrel off the bench, and not using the scope as a lever. Nice gun for sure.👍
The scope is designed to handle the recoil of some big rounds. It can handle it.
John Myers if an optic can’t take that little amount of pressure, I don’t want it.
@@johnmyers6802 oh them Leupold scopes can take a beating and i stand on that! I let my heavy AR-15 DPMS bull barrel fall a few times on the acope also my 2 sons let it fall in the boat the scope even has some nicks and dings to prove that theyll take a beating!
If you plan on keeping that zero don’t use your scope to close the rifle
@vettelover2009 Take it from someone with experience on that, try and use that lifetime warranty more than once, see what kind of hassle you get.
Only includes manufactures defect’s not abuse
@vettelover2009 you're also the kinda guy that can't figure out why he can't keep his gun sighted in huh.
@vettelover2009 I'm just givin ya shit. Just because we all do something differently doesn't make it wrong. I just dont trust myself or any optic enough to hold itself together.
@vettelover2009 it’s constant force down on the scope, mounts, the added pic rail. I don’t think it’s a good thing to do
Many thanks. I may get one in 44 magnum. It is good to hear that the trigger is good. I think the only negative I have heard is that the trigger isn't great. Most folk compare it to Henry's lever guns. So that is a high standard to put this single shot against. Well done.
I have 3 Henry rifles and one is a single shot in .243. They are fun and they challenge you to make the first shot count. I did cringe a little when you used the scope to close the action. lol
I bought a 350 legend for my little brother to take hunting with me. It has quickly become one of my favorite rounds. Excellent little cartridge.
Cody love the videos! Always excited to see whats next. I would love to see more episodes cooking with henry. The runza episode! Wife loves them. Cant wait to see more. Cheers from Alberta, Canada.
We will definitely have to do some more cooking episodes! God bless and take care! - Cody
Would like to see one with the heavy octagon barrels like the color case hardened big boys. That would be a very nice looking gun. Or a color case hardened side gate lever gun!!!
Thank you, Cody I went to the Toulon website and ordered one for my .22 Henry as well and a cover for my hatchet fabulous website
Anything Henry is cool.....
Lever gun next please!
By the way, stop closing the action by pushing on the scope.
I have never heard of a 350 caliber. This is a interesting gun.
I shot two deer opening day last year with mine. Both died before they hit the ground
Thanks so much for this video. This is the exact setup I’m looking at buying. Same gun with the same scope. Looks like a great straight-walled cartridge rifle.
GREAT VIDEO PICKED UP A USED 44 MAG SUPER FINE SHOOTER
Heck yeah!
Do you think Henry will do a 350 in the lever action? That would be great
Would love to see the single shot rifles in all weather or a cerakote finish.
.350 legend is great out of bolt guns and AR platforms but in does not need to be in single shots. Ream the existing .357 version of this rifle to .357 max and you get the same ballistics as .350 legend and retain the versatility of shooting .375 mag and .38 spc.
Also especially good if you have a .357 revolver
Very cool rifle but $450 price here in pa you can get a savage or mossberg or ruger in 350ledgen in bolt gun. Or you build 350ledgen upper for ar15. The ammo at one point was must comman on shelf for $26 a box. Run into ohio and I still see on shelf but must ammo is fmj
The only factory 350 legend ammo that's low recoil is the Winchester Super Suppressed 255 grain HP. Those Hornady 170 grain loadings are loaded hot and have comparable recoil to the Winchester Deer Season 150 & 180 grain XP ammo. I have used these rounds out of my Ruger Ranch rifle. The only round I haven't fired are Federal 180 grainers. 😉
Yeah. Good luck trying to find a Henry. Plus. They’ve certainly jacked up the price too.
What’s the gunstock cover that you are using, I really like it!?? I love your videos here on Henry, thank you for the content brother!
Without the riser , it's terrible with the scope, stock has great positioning for the irons witch makes it terrible with a scope , put low mounted red dot on mine in 357mag
It would pair nicely with my Henry .327 Fed Mag carbine.
Great video and review 👍. I bet that would be a great gun for anyone, Youth or adult. I'm going to see if I can locate one at my local dealer.
NICE... I REALLY REALLY wish Henry would make the Long Ranger in 350 legend.
That is a good gun. I started buying some 20 count boxes of 350 legend ammo 3 weeks back. The 140 grain (20 ct) boxes at wally world were about 17.50 with tax/the 180 grain (20 ct) boxes were around 27.00 with tax.
I will be buying myself a Henry lever action 350 legend single shot rifle in the near future.
On this model Henry really needs to do a reality check on pricing. This is by no means a pretty refined shiny model with expense added polish or premium wood stocks. It seems it doesn't even have an extractor. There are some well made bolt guns. Etc. That are cheaper. Wwwith spit and polish of many lever guns there is some room for a good reasoning. Just some input for a great company.
The price would be justified if it had the all weather hard chrome coating. Love my 44 big boy all weather, as I get older I only buy stainless or weather coated guns, less maintenance and looks good. If they release an all weather version then a 45-70 will be mine.
Damn good guns !! Have the ruger 350 and up to 200 it’s money with a punch!! 👍 but definitely want a Henry maybe in 45/70 would be awesome!!
I have about $800 in this gun with a senora $150 dollar scope and a sling. This gun will easily do a 3 shot group under an inch. I put 30 rounds in 2 hours through it and had no fliers. Hornady american whitetail it loves and is a tack driver with. If held wrong it can bruise your shoulder but I overcame my flinch using this gun. Mines in 308 weighing a bit over 8lbs
Cody! Would really like to know where your leather cheek piece came from??? Looks awesome and would aid in accuracy for sure!
You can get these on Amazon. Look up the companies name "Tourban" with key words such as "shell holder" or "cheek riser" and you'll find it. They're around $50.
Welcome to the club. I got my 305 Legend in March and finally found some ammo. Only 145 gr. Oh well, it'll do.
Try Walmart they seem to get a lot of the Winchester Hunting ammo around here
Great looking gun have to add that to my future list
That’s a good looking single shot rifle!
God Bless you for driving that beautiful dependable Toyota. . . Shows to me and anyone with a brain that you only purchase quality products. Makes your support of Henry firearms mean the world to the informed intelligent consumer.
You can always DEPEND on a Toyota to lock the engine at full throttle and blame he carpet for grabbing and holding he gas petal.
It sure would be nice to find one of these 350 Legend rifles. I can't believe how hard they are to get and I live in the same state that they're made. My local FFL guy use to be able to get any Henry he wanted for his customers. Apparently the new management only cares about catering to the big box stores instead of the little guys. I guess that's just the way things go these days. I currently own two Henry rifles and they are great. It's just a shame they are not more available.
Same! I’m in Tennessee. I can’t find the caliber I want (.243 or .308) anywhere. Called about 30 stores. Found one 30-30 and one 45-70.
I see several people asking yet no response. Just a question on who the manufacturer is on that cheek rest ammo holder. Awesome addition to a sweet rifle. Thanks for the video!
Ordered mine when this video came out. Still waiting
Falling block would be spendy not what people can afford ! 🤠
Nice rifle. I have a bit of experience with the 350 legend. And would also love to see a lever gun in 350 legend.
Still waiting for a lever action.
How about a .350 in lever action?
Would be great if Henry started threading these from the factory!
They must've improved the trigger on these. I bought mine about four years ago in 357 mag and the trigger pull was about 10 or 11 pounds. I took it to a gunsmith and paid about $75 to have him replace the trigger spring and the best he could do was about seven pounds or so. I was hoping you would put a trigger gauge on this thing to show what it was pulling at. Mine was horrible. Sold it within about a month after getting it.
I shook my head at 2:56 when the barrel was allowed to drop on the table edge ... then I yelled to STOP a few seconds later @ 3:00 ...
I just ordered one from rural king in 223 can’t wait to get it
Been wanting one of these in 45-70. And if they ever make it in 38-55, that too. I don't have much need for a 350, and probably even less if i move to AK in a year or so (good place for a 45-70 though). I do see where it is a good cartridge technically, and just right for people in states which mandate straight wall cartridges. The low recoil aspect is appealing, as is the AR compatibility. Energywise, it is very similar to 30-30, and we know that works fine. Flatter trajectory with more aerodynamic bullets, although i wish they made a good 200 gr load like the 35 Rem. Might not be feasible due to case length. I hear that reloading can be a rouch troublesome, but i am sure it is not that bad. A lot more civilized than 450 Bushmaster at any rate. There are several Henrys that i want, all levers except for this in 45-70. Let's hope, when finances improve.
When is Henry going to come out with a 6.5 creedmoor single shot?
one of these days i want a rifle chambered in 350 Leg, but it will not be a single shot. i'd rather the henry 45-70 single shot for fun purposes. henry's are great rifles though!
Great video, perfect truck Gun If they make it in stainless steel. Even though it's a new caliber I think it's really gonna catch on. It wouldn't destroy rabbits if you needed food and with careful shots it's probably pretty good for deer and mid-weight hogs. Actually your audio is great even with the background noise, I watch so many videos you can't even hear them unless you turn off everything else in the room that makes noise. Very realistic and to the point video keep up the good work.
Yo Henry arm I love your rifle's but please make these in a lever action
A 357 Maximum is just 350 Legend without the rim... And 357 Maximum is better from similar barrel lengths.... And can shoot 38 special/357 magnum with a whole line of bullets/powder to use.
What cheek rest is that and do you like it? Is it too tall?
Any chance Henry will be offering multicaliber packages like used to be available?
12/20ga with 450 Bushmaster, 350 Legend, 223 etc would be awesome.
something nice for under the christmas tree
When I first clicked on this, and wasn't looking, I would have sworn it was Eagle Eye Shooting (Kenny) talking.
*crisp*🤌😎
Is that an 18 inch barrel? I like that it is heavy barreled to keep the heat down. 350 LGD is my favorite caliber
If it was a non Golden Boy Lever Action I would order it today !!! And sell my current.350
Get some!!🇺🇲
When's the 16 inch threaded barrel version coming out?
That's why I prefer true mil dot over BDC.
When’s the video coming out for the 12 guage slug gun????🇺🇸🇺🇸
Took 2 bucks this year at 100 yds. They dropped. No chasing.. 350 legend is awesome
When can we expect something in 10mm? 😀
What size scope rings should I get for it? Medium or high to clear the hammer?
I’ve got one in .44. Well built, certainly attractive, and functional but the trigger is underwhelming. A few more # than I would prefer
I shoot a marlin 336sc in 35 Rem. Similar ballistics, and a single shot Ruger No1 in 300 win mag.
The .35 Remington is definitely more powerful compared to the 350 Legend. The recoil is very mild on the 350 Legend. The .35 Remington does kick much more. They both will kill deer but you can’t find any 350 Legends in a Leveraction.
If you want to come out with something different chamber your single shot in the 50 Alaska you would sell boatloads of them everybody up north would buy one plus other people all over the country would buy one also it would be real popular in Canada
Where does a guy find that leather round holder on the rear stock looks sharp!!
Only problem with 350 ledgend is the bullet measures .355 when here in Indiana our public land requires a minimum of .357 projectile
Well crap there went that one. Dang you Indiana lawmakers on some accounts.
@@karstensebastian7598 now if you're hunting on private property you can use any thing you want from 243 and up
@@Perry2186 ok yeah i was thinking it was something about
.357 on private land too. What caliber do you prefer around here?
@@karstensebastian7598 I use 35 Remington but I have used 300blk and 308win it just depends what stand I getting in
@@Perry2186 the only one of those i have ever fired is a 308. 300blk is high on my shoot list though.
Thnxs
Gotta make it in 500 magnum. Sure, I have a big horn in 500 and I have a Henry single in .223, but I don't have a Henry single in 500 s&w
Would be nice to find one of these on the shelf and then actually find some ammo
Where did you get that check rest if you don’t mind me asking? Oh yeah nice shootin too .
Only people who don't know guns or cartridges would think that a straight-walled, rimless, beltless cartridge would be a good idea in a single-shot rifle. Also, the 350 Legend uses a proprietary case head design that no other cartridge uses, so when the hype over this round dies off, even those who want to reload for it are going to be frustrated when the brass dries up.
Where can I get that cheek riser? I cant find one like that anywhere.
Henry needs to do more calibers in this rifle, 30-40 Krag, 218 bee, 256 Winchester, and many more
Pretty nice. How about a 357 Maximum?
Doe as the single shot rifle have the ability to swap out different calibre barrels?
What is the make or model of that ammo carrier? That is sweet!!!
H&R quits making them price goes through roof , HENRY says we can do that at new 3 or 4 times a real price , Walmart has cases of 350 legend! ☹✔
H&R sold accessory barrels for different calibers, but required that the action be returned to them for hand fitting. Another company sells accessory barrels for their gun, and assumes that they will will be safe. Henry requires you to buy an entire new gun for each caliber.
I think I'll stick with my H&R and the 5 different barrels that I have for it.
@@bobsradio6025 Nef, Rossi, H&R switch barrels got sued out of making them because the locks failed and blew up in peoples faces. I still have 2 nef handi rifles. But my Rossi blew up. Fortunately I only got flashed but no burns or shrapnel. Henry is not about to open that liability door.
Besides. You comparing a Henry to an h&r is like comparing a super duty to a yugo.
@@blaws6684 - H&R had a habit of fitting shotgun barrels to rifle actions, but NOT rifle barrels to shotgun actions, so they must have known of the potential danger. I also own a H&R muzzle loader in .58 caliber, and have not had any problems with it. I also own a .22 RF LR H&R.
I have BFR revolvers in .22 Hornet & .30-30, which mate up well with two of my H&R barrels and a .44 Mag barrel that mates up with my Super Blackhawk. I saw no need to get matching handguns for the .223 & .308 bull barrels for my H&R.
However, I must say that your comment has given me incentive to not make very strong loads for any of my H&R barrels. Thank you.

Worth noting my TC is rock solid in 7 different combos
I hope Henry gets the trigger pull on their single shots worked out…. I have 2 of them and both triggers are almost 10lbs…. It’s awful. Well made rifle but bad triggers.
Alex you might want to contact Henry. Sounds like something is not right. All of my single shots are around the 4lb mark and very very crisp.

I would love to see a Henry Single Shot in 444 Marlin and a Henry Lever Action in 444 Marlin. I would also love to see a single shot in 10mm and a lever action in 10mm
Is that leather comb with cartridges available from Henry? Looks to be perfect for my Henry would love too find one.
This one is not. It does work great though. I found it online. Let me see if I can find a link for ya! - Cody
Oh course not.......surprisingly is only $3 cheaper than the rifle @ $897.00...$3 more you can have the rife. So Henry will sell it to you as a combo @ $1797.00

Falling block single shot is really needed. Henry can deliver.
Honestly that would be awesome.
I agree. I’d love what Winchester offered with the 1885, but affordable for blue collar America.
Rolling block would be cooler!
Rolling block even better.
