Severe FPS Drop Issue in Delta Force (Mostly Fixed - Read desc)

So my Delta Force journey seems to have come to a halt with the game having become completely unplayable after recent updates.
Before I had random FPS drops like every one but all of a sudden, once in a while it would all drop down to 5 fps. This was most likely introduced with the first update, but then alt tabbing out and back in worked. Later, I had to change the settings (just for the sake of it) for it to fix, and now there is no fix and it happens randomly in every game, every few minutes and the only solutions is to try and hide and wait it out to fix after like 5 minutes on its own.
I don't know how widespread this issue is and that is the reason for posting this video to discover other people who might have this issue so a fix could be worked out.
Edit: The issue is fixed now or mostly. Still appears once in a while if I leave the frames counter to unlimited or run my screen at max refresh rate of 180hz, capping my screen refresh to 120hz and my frames to 100 (although not very desirable) seems to solve the problem for now.
The major cause of this problem I believe had to do with turning off the mouse acceleration by manually adding a couple of values in input.ini based on some one else's video I had watched that talked about fixing mouse input.

Try to disable nvidia overlay, i heard that some people just unchecked the photo mode and filter to fix it if u dont want to disable the whole overlay too, idk about discord overlay, but unreal engine is having issues with overlays
Note: i had to close a league of legends overlay i always got in background to see ingame live stats without alt-tabing, that shii killed my fps the first 2 matches

Never use the filters or the photo thingy. I did have overlays but I tested without em and nothing changed. Same problem persists. I had no problem before until the recent few patches where this problem was introduced and then worsened.

Try with DX11 and see if this helps

i have terrible stutters always after 3-5 min even on 800x600 resolution but not like ur stutters lol i play battlefield on medium and warzone and cant play this game on low
