I love how even the characters and the video relate to the lyrics of the song because the whole song is basically based on the myth of Momotaro a Japanese legend about a boy born from a magic peach who defeats the island of the oni. The characters shown in the video very closely resemble oni with their horns and long teeth and the Japanese theme that the meme is using ☺️

Usually the original Meme isn't the best but this one will always be my favorite. Like this may be the first time that the ORIGINAL was the best one! No one has outdone this person! Also all of those who say this artist drew inspiration from Undyne(Undertale) get real. Anyone can come up with that color scheme. Stop relating everything to Undertale. I really appreciate how ap Selene actually does her research behind the music. Especially when its needed. She put demon like characters in a song basically about defeating demons instead of blowing off the meaning of the song like some animation artist who just jump on the band wagon and do something that doesn't even slightly correlate to the song. Like this song is literally about momotaro going on a quest to fight demons. So when I see an animation of a pretty girl in the animation with slight sexual undertones it just kinda puts me off cuz it doesn't correlate to this song at all. Ap Selene actually looked up the song and did her research behind the meaning. I appreciate that in an artist. When they actually put more into the animation than just a silly character. Which I'm actually surprised a lot of people who did this meme made the art Japanese related or involved some sort of connection to it whether it be the clothes or the background art, others did really well too. But Ap Selene is the original to start the meme so Ap selene deserves all the credit.
Good points, but there are some problems with this comment. The animation doesn’t have to be just about the song- and animation meme is also about someones interpretation, so they can do something mostly unrelated to it. Also, just because Ap Selene made the original does NOT mean she deserves all the credit. Someone might make their own version, and you can’t be like “ Oh Ap Selene did the original so you don’t make it and don’t deserve any recognition”

(Momo=Peach, and Taro=Eldest Son in the Family) The name itself comes from an old Japanese story, the present form dating to the Edo period, about a boy who is sent from heaven to an old childless couple in a larger-than-usual peach. Later on, Momotaro leaves to fight a band of marauding Oni (demons or ogres) with the aid of a talking Dog, Monkey, and Pheasant.

I love your character designs!! the colors are soooo nice. I really like the teeth too :) but one thing that I especially like it that yes, their clothes are revealing, but its not in an obtrusive way. the clothes seem very natural to the character, and her proportions are reasonable, making for a very confident and unique character!!
