Try - 1
Hold volume down. till the screen turn on / flickers and then hold the power button as well and the volume down for 7 seconds. Its hard I could not get it the first time I tried.
Try - 2
Press the Volume - Down button first. In 2 seconds press the Power button and hold them both until the system menu appears
on the upper left corner of the screen and let go of the buttons.
Note: A factory reset will return your nabi Big Tab to its original factory settings and will systematically wipe all user data. We highly recommend backing up your nabi Big Tab prior to performing a factory reset.

Never flickered. Stayed off. I tried pulling out the charger too. However. Since the correct password to daddy mode failed, I bet It's because It's not local. The password gets sent out for checking. And there's no support anymore. So, turn off your Wi-Fi and test things again.
