The good old days. Hive UA-cam from 2020-2022 was amazing and full of life! Seeing people start siphoning back into the community in 2020 injected motivation and passion into me like never before! Im sure I'm not the only only one to say that. You were my favorite overall streamer Potato. Watched you all the time and it was a pleasure, in the limited VCs we were in together, to interact with you. Hive, despite still being a great server, can only sustain it's magic long enough for people who've played on it for years. It's amazing for the newcomers, but for many OGs, it's basically what you said about repeatedly playing it into the ground. Nothing good lasts truly forever, this is no exception. I wish you the best of luck in your life and whatever you do with content. Will definitely continue supporting as always in the content creation journey 👊
I also got burnt out from Minecraft, and also making videos, but I'm slowly getting back into it. This was a nice little throwback, and I'm glad that you're back again!
This video got me emotional. Love ya dawg, so glad we cameback into the community at the same time in 2020 and started the empire. It's beautiful how the hive changed your life and thousands of others too. Your videos are amazing man, never stop.
2020-2022 early was the best Hive era , 2021 was the hive prime for me , i loved the sonic event .. i started playing hive in 2020 September , the hub was so lively and i had a lot of friends , but after 4 yrs , things aren't the same , most of my 2020 friends are offline since years and im the only one of them playing
I'm gonna miss the old hive content scene so much, the hub stuff especially is such good memories, everything in that section resonated with me and I also wanted to add the hive sign before mounts, how cool it was back then to be up there during mj's streams or just random occurrences. It's crazy there's a new hive generation that knows nothing about the likes of mj, deezee, cranexe, qwimston, nerd4bird, or the smaller ones like camo or sharks. I'm also weirdly nostalgic for the pink glitch tbh
I remember back in December Danny told me that his favorite time playing the hive and making content was when he had between 1k and 5k subs and he had just a small community and everything felt new and fun and personal connections could be made. In my own experience ive found this to be true, after so much growth and fun its easy to look around and question where you are going in the first place. Anyways thank you for staying in this community for so long and inspiring as many people as you did
such a great throwback. the message is also so dang important and wonderfully simple, i cannot emphasize it enough. sometimes you only recognize the value of it when you lack it.
great video man, reminded me of the good old times. and thank you for all that you've done for me throughout the years because i dont think ive ever thanked you for it. your one of the first people that inspired me to stream back when you just started up on the hive a while ago, and i dont think i would be the same person without alot of your influence. i we havent even talked in 2 and a half years, but hope your doing well man. thank you
Hive to me, during the period of 2018-2022, was one of the best things I’ve ever experienced. I vividly remember coming home from school and opening up UA-cam, excited for your sub Saturdays, and participating in the cs’s when they released. I continued to watch your streams up until 2022. Although it was fun, it was definitely unhealthy, I spent every moment after school playing Minecraft, and had around 2000 hours over the course of four years. I’ve since moved onto another niche community while playing rhythm games, although it isn’t as unhealthy as before(?). I only have 172 hours while having the account for three years. During this time I unfortunately got ill with something that is likely IBS (I haven’t been fully diagnosed with anything yet somehow), but that isn’t important right now. I want you to know that you were, and still are a great inspiration to me. You mentioning how much you neglected spending time with your loved ones reminds me of me currently and back then. I often find myself declining invites from friends just to play a measly rhythm game because I want to “get better.” I can always play later. Anyways, I wish you well in all that you do in the future.
had to long on my account to watch this. Great video, well said, and I know you're just doing whats best for you, and that's all that really matters. Good luck
DUDE I DID THE ICE THING SO MUCH 😭 Anyway, this was such a good video and I feel like it'll resonate with a LOT of people from the community. I've definitely had my fair share of Hive burnout, but my friends is what ultimately kept me coming back to play more. I guess I'm kinda lucky that my irl friends also have an interests in Hive. I really appreciate everything you've done for the community and I loved all the content I've gotten to watch from you
To think it’s been 4 years ever since i got an iPad mid pandemic and found you streaming cs Saturdays, this video hit me with a wave of nostalgia I pray that The Hive and Hive content will continue to get better as it was during the pandemic because those years on The Hive were some of the fondest years of my life
This video had me choked up the entire time. I’ve lately been thinking a lot about the Hive and watching some of my previous videos reminiscing about old times. I’ll never forget the excitement and pure joy I had creating TikTok content and gaining more traction on the server! I’m glad I got to create memories with you and everyone else we interacted with - it brings a smile to my face knowing all the positive moments we shared back then! I hope you continue to do great things!
I miss hive 2020-2022 when i actually had fun playing hide, tw mega, murder mystery and most of all sw since i actually had fun playing sw back then, now not only the games feel different but also the old lobby was better imo. The castle at spawn where most people where at, the huge drop at the top, like you said the ice in the winter updates and the train in the winter updates when it was actually one of the best things in the lobby. The last time i had fun was december 2023-mid february 2024 when i started grinding hide again, since then i lost interest in it again and now instead of being on everyday like i used to im barely on anymore and gave away my older mains to a few of my friends who still play somewhat consistently on the hive
I didnt expect this. This was amazing. Potatoepie, i appreciate you making this, i was binge watching a lot of nostalgic hive vids and i saw this..... my pov was changed entirely. I went to a camp, and thats where i realized how much having friends can do. and this increased it.
tbh you and many other hive youtubers have done so much for me in my personal life. whether it was to be kind and caring like potato or funny like plushie. From having my minecraft account hit top 50 in the hive death run leaderboard won month or even top 50 in ground wars leaderboard. I have maxed out 2 different game modes and this was all because of youtube and covid. although minecraft is dying and I play it less and less every week i recently started to play the hive again. I understand it can be boring but after missing out for a couple months it can be fun. I started off on my main youtube as doing cringy videos and not having a good mic, i had quit youtube and cant find the joy anymore to be a content creator. I still have so many good memories though even though my main channel has only 70 subs. thx potato for all your content and hardwork
I quit minecraft the moment i realised i started getting burned out so i quit after 7 years with great memories and met one of my best friends in minecraft and till this day even though we both quit we are still great friends.
Hive is one of the game that just has the vibe❤hive gave us a lot of best memories.❤I do miss the old best content hive creators they made it better and yall made the pandemic era just as better as it was we fans will always support you guys,we do miss MJ and other content creators but we know that they are happy with their decisions, at first when I saw this vid I thought you were quitting😅my opinion I really loved old hive better there were many people playing and even though there were cheaters hackers or trollers it just made a great memory for me and my friends and the moral of this vid was really inspiring❤
Some of my favorites hive memories was when it first came out (yes i am a OG i even got the black cat costume) and before i even thought about doing hive content and even before I've seen any hive videos, now that I'm doing some hive content the hive feels more like a job/requirement and less like a place to make memories which is sad because the hive was always a place i could go to with some friends to make my day better...i remember doing Roleplays in the hub, fighting hackers in treasure wars, finding INSANE glitching spots in tw and mm even tho it got me in trouble a few times lol i still made amazing memories that i will never forgot and i wish i recorded all the amazing times i had with my friends (and all the glitched spots i would find with them) if i had a time machine i would definitely go back in time and re live every single moment. Sorry for the bad grammer btw
A lovely video, whatever you do content-wise or in life (I know you are not quitting but ya know), I for one support it. Glad to see you are doing well.
This video kinda gave me nostalga, even tho people did not like me in the community playing this hive server and creating content kinda gave me an escape of things it just made things click as it was not the same anymore. The good old days, AuraLessAim :)
As a cubecraft player I also lost interest in that server, not only because they kept releasing bad updates but because I was getting bored of minecraft in general, and since I play on PS5 I have to delete some of my old clips whenever some random game has a 10GB update
dont matter how many times we get burnout of minecraft we always return now that you made a video on this you made me miss the java edition hive. it was my most played server in 2017, 2018 and its so sad to see it gone not only that server but many other servers that i played during late 2010s and the dark (quarantine) ages that are no longer here even with the simplest things its always good to appreciate the smallest moments because as time goes on it only gets bigger and bigger in your memory just appreciate the moment you are in currently, dont matter how simple or small it is
I wasn't a very active community member, I could never really get used to talking to people like that, but I'm glad to have been a part of your community nonetheless. Creating one of your very first pieces of fanart, and you posting it on your community tab made me happier than you could've thought. I just wanted to say thank you for the Hive content you have provided over the years.
You've always been a huge inspiration of mine in the hive community and although it's sad seeing almost every OG hive youtuber moving on its also bittersweet to know their doing alright. :)
I understand and feel like it’s totally natural to get burned out, and I feel the same way. It doesn’t help that they removed treasure wars, my favorite mode on the hive
As a Java player, the hive was my most favourite bedrock server even when mineplex was around (back in the cursed iPad kid days 💀). I remember the days where it was only hide and seek, murder mystery, and death run was the newest game. I was so bad at Minecraft and I was really young so I never spoke with anyone, but there’s one thing that resonated with me even now when I play hypixel, or mcc island. There was never a livelier hub than the hive, with (kinda freaky) roleplayers, the crazy tall people who I always wanted to become only to get sent to the marketplace every time I tried, the people running around shift spamming and punching you, trying to figure out how to use my locker, constantly failing miserably in death run. Nowadays when you go to any Minecraft server lobby it all feels very empty, and I feel at one point even when hypixel had a lot of players, this could be foreshadowed due to the slow rise of toxicity as more toxic players started to hang around in the lobby as well not just in game, who maybe contributed to this decrease in online Minecraft popularity, and then of course as covid ended the numbers only started to dwindle more. And we only notice these things and remember these memories when we grow older. The thing that makes us remember them is the fact that we didn’t think much of it when it happened.
i remember the PS4 version of mcbe got server support back in 2021 and it was alot of fun playing Treasure wars with friends, 2021 was the best time for this server and was one of the best times i had on hive and some of the best with this game. Along side playing it i'd also watch hive content including yours. Honestly 2021 was where the hive peaked my opinion and it sad to see a lot of the content creators either lose interest, quit, or moved on to other games. I'm just happy i got to see it happen. Thank you for the content all those years ago.
I used to play hive so much. Having friends like starrdoom and Crunchbee123. Such condolences to these people who played a huge part of my early teens. And if they see this, I loved every moment with them
Every so often I check your channel to see if you've posted anything new. I remember watching you a lot during covid, and I miss seeing you post. I'm glad that this chapter has gotten some sort of send-off, and that there is still possibly more to come. Glad to see you posting something again, and I hope you're doing well!
Hey, I've been a Helper on the server for the past year now and unfortunately left the team a few days ago. I've lost time as well as interest in the server. However the past year was one of the best years of my life. The community is awesome and super fun to interact with. I've got so many fond memories of the server over the past few years. I've met a ton of amazing people in the community as well as in the incredible staff team. I hope i could have made a small dent in the community with my time here. :D Amazing video you legend.
Hey Potato, it’s nice that you made this video. I’ve been playing the Hive since 2020 and I even got to see new people and UA-camrs. I was previously called RangerKid208 and I really loved playing the hive until 2022. What you’re saying is true Hive UA-camrs come and go because things don’t last forever and we gotta enjoy them while we still can, for me right now, the hive doesn’t really feel dead to me. I last properly played it on 2022. And I came back playing it properly a month ago. I think I might make content of the Hive. I’ve been watching your content for years and I wish your living a good life. Thank you for the memories.
idk how to feel about this video, but this certainly brings back a lot of memories. Plus you are correct, some of the new gen Hive players will never know the existence of one of the greatest and most kindest hive player in the community xD. I have been watching Hive content since pandemic, but seeing a majority of Hive youtubers from pandemic is quite disheartening, however, seeing most of them moving on and enjoying life as it is great closure for moving forward for what life has to offer. Great to see you post again, this truly was nostalgic :)
Nice Video Bro And nice message. All you said in this video is so relatable. I agree that the old castle or map in this server was better since its nostalgic and its really having a good charm that i cant explain. I remembered back in 2018 october when the server has been released it has only 3 games which is death run, hide and seek and my favorite thing which is TREASURE WARS. I love it and also missed the old times where we can met our virtual friends because of this server. Long lived Hive! Thanks for the memories you've given to us! Im glad to see you back again bro! (Sry for my bad english)
I remember going on youtube to see all the youtubers I loved, I remember going on hive playing with my friends too, some of my best memories of this game and seeing this video and seeing the downfall of all of the youtubers that I loved leaving makes me emotional and I really hope the game adds something crazy and I have fun again but it doesn't look like it, sadly. R.I.P Hive
Thank you for making this. I miss everything you mentioned, but I'm glad it happened. I dont have the same relationships with my hive sqaud from back in the day, people move on and change, I know I changed so much. But all of the memories the hive gave me with these people are some of my most cherished. I miss the old hive scene when everyone was having fun, and hubs were full of vibrant player life. but I am so very happy that it happened. Thank you potato❤
Yeah, I agree that this year has had me look back at life, think about friends and everything I'm missing because of the tasks I have right in front of me. I miss the days when I had nothing to worry about and enjoyed being a kid. I wish you well, enjoy life best you can because it will fly by before you know it.
It's incredible how once a simple server changed the way people viewed the MCBE. Of course this wouldn't probably happen without the events of the global pandemic. Since there was no where else to go, it's really nostalgic when we remember the time we first encountered the Hive. The time where it only had og servers (Sky/Treasure wars, SG, and those we had during the pandemic era) and those updates that made an impact to the community. I vividly remember the first time i came upon Skywars kits, it was so hyped the time that it was released that it got a bunch of opinions (content baby). Another thing I remember was the train that showed up during a Christmas event way back. I was so determined to sit there for hours just to get a skin (not really sure what was the prize but I wasted my free time just for the thing at the end). There is a lot of things, updates, and revamps that when we looked back, made Hive great, the GOAT, and the best of it's time. But with all greatness, the Hive kept updating and updating that myself was overwhelmed of. These updates reminded me of Minecraft itself, that whenever another update was released, some would say that "Minecraft isn't minecraft-y anymore". Due to more and more updates, more and more people stopped and wanted to rest, breathe, and probably TOUCH GRASS! But either way, some people stayed, continued what they have built for the community, and gave hope to others to continue playing! Potato, if you somehow read this until the end, I wanted to thank you for doing this video, for giving me and probably others the chance to be heard and made probably a lot love how Hive contributed to an average human trying to curr boredom by playing a game mad of blocks. P.S: English is not my primary language so I deeply apologize to if I happen to make a few grammar mistakes. No translation was used, what you read is what i said. And this may be random (and hopefully not corny) but either way, my past self just wanted to express himself on what the Hive has done and how it helped him escape boredom during the pandemic times. Thank you for reading until the end, I may never return to this comment and probably forget everything that I just typed, anyway may God bless you ❤
After watching this, our hive journey has been quite similar. It was so good while it lasted. I keep trying to get back into it but i just dont find that enjoyment
Personally I haven't been much of a fan of The Hive but this is still an fantastic video. You really told this story in a way that is thoughtful and resonates well with my own experience with Minecraft. I never really got into content creation in that sense outside of various smaller and more isolated projects but I remember during covid, I would spend a ridiculous number of hours connecting with people in the defunct BrokenLens server and that was quite an interesting time but also something where I felt disconnected from my real friends. There are many layers with what ended up happening there but I've moved on about a year ago to Lifeboat as I've been becoming more comfortable with content creation and publishing my work. Throughout that time though, I have really appreciated your videos regarding your differing perspective on the MCBE space and I found them to be inspiring with getting into that process on my own.
Can’t miss what you never had. I never played any server prior to this year as I’m not fond of playing online games but I gave hive a go and I love it. First only playing block drop and gravity where I didn’t have to interact with others, I soon came out of my shell and started playing murder mystery and hide and seek. Along with dragging a friend onto the server with me. I also ran around the hub, fake imaginary scenarios in my head having fun with the castle, towns, and the train. There’s consistently 17k people when looking over the snapshot before joining with cubecraft a close second at 12k then lifeboat at 6k. Others only getting in the triple digits
I dont think I will ever forget that I used to stream Hive on twitch. There werent many who did it to a grand scale and to this day I dont think twitch rank was real but I loved the people who I interacted with. I try to get back into it every 8 months or so but without the people from 2021 its not the same even though I have fun. I will never forget that you came into my chat and said hello one time. It inspired me to keep streaming at the time. Every small interaction you had with the community, even the ones you dont remember, someone remembers. Thank you.
I still remember about 3 and a half years ago now, I was (and still am although I don't play much anymore) a cubecraft player, but it was through watching your videos that I finally understood why the hive was so special, it actually had a community, something cubecraft didn't, which I regret not participating more in it when it was more active. Best of luck mr PotatoPie
I'm so glad that I chose to be a part of the community, especially when you were around. Playing a silly little Minecraft server has had such a massive impact on who I am today and you play a part in that. Your community is one of very few 'Minecraft communities' that I'm still active in now and I'm so grateful for everyone (well, mostly everyone) that I've met along the way. Some of my closest friends online are people that have I met from your streams and it's crazy to think about that. You're a good content creator but you're an even better friend. You'll figure out life eventually and you'll find something that you're passionate about again. Thank you for everything you have done for the community in general - you genuinely have no idea how much it actually means to us all. See you around 🧡
I never forget the times where the community is at its peak the memories I made with my friends playing in the hive. Times has been changed sometimes we moved on from other things that we want to do and that's okay
So many amazing people from the community back in that day... MJ, Skyela, fowben... that really was a special time and this video brought back so many amazing memories of it. Thanks ❤️
it hurts to say after 2022 i was bored of the hive and thats were i witnessed the fall of it. Will always charish the memories i had made, thank you for this video potatopie25.
I hadn't played Hive for probably a few years and joined it today. It has changed so much, and I've lost so many friends that I had there. It's an amazing server, honestly.
I remember playing hunger games matches on The Hive in 2013. It was so popular that every server would fill up within SECONDS. You had to camp a server that was in game, waiting for it to finish if you wanted any chance at playing a game. Those were the days.
I started off back in 2018 playing on single player, never actually got around to playing on some servers like that. Seems like a nice place to meet new people!
Bro I was the same , you were my motivation to play Minecraft again and I’ll always be happy because you did motivate me so much Thank you And I mainly quit after I lost some friends as well , it’s hard to look back at the great memories knowing that I will never experience them again
Yeah, ever since i've started hive it feels like my friends, even if im on a call or anything, they are drifting slowly away from me, but then it started to change, burning out was a regular thing with us. Hive just became more boring, so we went outside, hours on end spent making dens and messing around in a forest, i still play hive, i'm still burnt out, but Minecraft is the game of my childhood and I won't give up on it any time soon.
Goodness me I feel old now lol, nostalgia is a wonderful thing. Best of luck for the future PotatoPie, you certainly inspired and helped a lot of people
Hey Potato, just wanted to say that your awesome and even though this is the first time I've watched any content from you in a while that I never didn't enjoy watching your streams throughout the years. It's truly awesome what you've done.
I miss when u we’re there, and how hive back 2018-2021 were peak when everyone was having fun and with the boys playing Skywars and treasure wars and other games in the hub, they were very nostalgia and was fun but slowly it’s falling down by having less old UA-camrs and some new UA-camrs , but these were 1000 memories🫡
Great video! I can definitely relate to a lot of the things you said. Some of my favorite moments I've had on the Hive were just the conversations that I've had with people. Things have changed, life has changed like it always does, but it's comforting to know that all of the moments that I shared with others happened, and nothing can change that. I will forever love this server, it has impacted my life in deeply personal ways. I would not be the person I am today without it, I'm sure many can relate.
I can relate to almost everything in the video, and it was amazing seeing you and the community grow during the pandemic. No matter what you do in life, just know u have us :)
This is sweet, everybody here has probably made some fantastic memories on this once-great server, myself included. This game and server specifically, really changed my life in many ways. But we gotta face the facts, The Hive has been corrupt for about 2 years now, and it’s gone way down hill. We can hold onto the nice memories for as long as we’d like, but it doesn’t change the fact that Hive is horrendous now, and has been for a very long time. You can pretend all you’d like that Hive is all great just bcuz your a YT rank, but we know the truth
This is true Hive was always my main server and i even made Hive content I made a lot of friends along the way in the hive and the memories but i was getting bored of it so i moved on.
I personally consider The Hive my second home during the 2020/21 period, so many good memories were made in that time that left a big mark on me to this day (life has never peaked again after the sonic event lmao). But as time passed, updates were less frequent, and more stuff started to happen irl, I started to slowly quitting the server, like most people. Even though The Hive is not at it's peak anymore, and most of the community from the "golden years" has quit the server, it still has an incredible place in my heart, and it helped me become who I am today, through all the good memories and a community that has welcomed me so well and that I'm still a part of today, and I'll never forget that. Thank You Hive, and thank you Potato! (...and sorry for the text wall lmao)
started playing in 2019 then quit in 2021 came back to check on it and found treasure wars was gone and people got impressed bc i had a 5 year treasure wars vet title
incredible, when the pandemic hits and i'd go play the hive for first time on console. only i'd peaked interest was Hide & Seek and it's was enjoyable alot. made great friends since i'd met them in the public lobbies. (lost few friends when big drama hits) i'd found ur stream on twitch and start talking with people in your chat. it's was fun time to communicate people in the hive twitch channels. but now, i have been playing Fallout 4, GTA Online, and COD MW3 for long now instead play most of the hive. (excuse my grammar everyone 🙏)
Not quitting, just a video from the heart. More info 👉 ua-cam.com/video/RtjuM-Etcy0/v-deo.html

Same but I just came back and love it
Minecrafts a game you always leave and come back to
This video got me emotional. Love ya dawg, so glad we cameback into the community at the same time in 2020 and started the empire.
It's beautiful how the hive changed your life and thousands of others too. Your videos are amazing man, never stop.
Much love bro
i still wonder why sprinting around the hive island with all the ice was so enjoyable, glad to know it wasn't just me
Gappled ty you may not remember but you helped me understand how important music in videos are
I just started to make videos again and I hope your doing good thank you and goodbye

W video potato man, couldn't agree more.
such a great throwback.
the message is also so dang important and wonderfully simple, i cannot emphasize it enough.

“And I miss the times when the hubs actually had.. life” wow. Really good statement.
Good luck
DUDE I DID THE ICE THING SO MUCH 😭
Anyway, this was such a good video and I feel like it'll resonate with a LOT of people from the community. I've definitely had my fair share of Hive burnout, but my friends is what ultimately kept me coming back to play more. I guess I'm kinda lucky that my irl friends also have an interests in Hive. I really appreciate everything you've done for the community and I loved all the content I've gotten to watch from you
Original Avery comment 😮
bye potatopie loved your survival minecraft hive videos 😥😢
To think it’s been 4 years ever since i got an iPad mid pandemic and found you streaming cs Saturdays, this video hit me with a wave of nostalgia
I pray that The Hive and Hive content will continue to get better as it was during the pandemic because those years on The Hive were some of the fondest years of my life
This is exactly what happened to Lifeboat back in 2018 when it was dying. History repeats itself.
I'm sorry for your loss.. R.I.P.🕊 I hope you'll find time to spend with your friends and make everlasting memories.
I hope you continue to do great things!
love you bro
i remember going from grinding to lvl 75 to become a scrimmer and then just quitting hive as a whole, i wish we could go back to 2021
I miss hive 2020-2022 when i actually had fun playing hide, tw mega, murder mystery and most of all sw since i actually had fun playing sw back then, now not only the games feel different but also the old lobby was better imo.
I still have so many good memories though even though my main channel has only 70 subs. thx potato for all your content and hardwork
ive also been banned on evident's stream a couple years back for hacking when my game crashed. it was upsetting but funny looking back
I quit minecraft the moment i realised i started getting burned out so i quit after 7 years with great memories and met one of my best friends in minecraft and till this day even though we both quit we are still great friends.
Nice to see closure, thanks for the great content you've made throughout your time
similar situation for me, i don't make hive content but the hive has been something i play in most of my free time until recently
A lovely video, whatever you do content-wise or in life (I know you are not quitting but ya know), I for one support it. Glad to see you are doing well.
You cant hit me with the Mice on Venus out of the blue broooo 😭
This video kinda gave me nostalga, even tho people did not like me in the community playing this hive server and creating content kinda gave me an escape of things it just made things click as it was not the same anymore.
The good old days,
AuraLessAim :)
Woah its you
As a cubecraft player I also lost interest in that server, not only because they kept releasing bad updates but because I was getting bored of minecraft in general, and since I play on PS5 I have to delete some of my old clips whenever some random game has a 10GB update
@@ItsEnderium don’t forget the sweats and hackers
Nostalgia moment
dont matter how many times we get burnout of minecraft we always return
now that you made a video on this you made me miss the java edition hive. it was my most played server in 2017, 2018 and its so sad to see it gone
not only that server but many other servers that i played during late 2010s and the dark (quarantine) ages that are no longer here
even with the simplest things its always good to appreciate the smallest moments because as time goes on it only gets bigger and bigger in your memory
just appreciate the moment you are in currently, dont matter how simple or small it is
I wasn't a very active community member, I could never really get used to talking to people like that, but I'm glad to have been a part of your community nonetheless.
Wait they did? Dang :(
As a Java player, the hive was my most favourite bedrock server even when mineplex was around (back in the cursed iPad kid days 💀).
Thank you for reading until the end, I may never return to this comment and probably forget everything that I just typed, anyway may God bless you ❤
Hive hub ice running was the best
Yeah it happens, good video man. Just take your time bro.
Thank you.
Im literally crying right now. 5 fantastic years on the Hive, spending time with your friends is something you should never take for granted.
I still remember about 3 and a half years ago now, I was (and still am although I don't play much anymore) a cubecraft player, but it was through watching your videos that I finally understood why the hive was so special, it actually had a community, something cubecraft didn't, which I regret not participating more in it when it was more active.
Best of luck mr PotatoPie
this literally made me tear up. i miss the good times i used to have on the hive.
See you around 🧡
winter hub while talking in a discord call is so realatable! I miss those days!
Bro I was the same , you were my motivation to play Minecraft again and I’ll always be happy because you did motivate me so much
Thank you
And I mainly quit after I lost some friends as well , it’s hard to look back at the great memories knowing that I will never experience them again
I miss when u we’re there, and how hive back 2018-2021 were peak when everyone was having fun and with the boys playing Skywars and treasure wars and other games in the hub, they were very nostalgia and was fun but slowly it’s falling down by having less old UA-camrs and some new UA-camrs , but these were 1000 memories🫡
bring back the old hive days man....
never thought I would get so emotional from a Hive video, the community really needed this.
This video genuinely brought a smile to my face, gives me motivation to just get back and start grinding UA-cam again
It's not just the Hive you enjoy itself... but the community
Hive really was special, first time I really felt connected to a Minecraft community with some really great memories
started playing in 2019 then quit in 2021 came back to check on it and found treasure wars was gone and people got impressed bc i had a 5 year treasure wars vet title
this hit me hard dude
same
Wow, this video brought back a lot of good memories this is the best hive video I have seen in a long time.
the old faithful pvp pack and old hive yts are the first minute really made me cry
Bro 2021 was prime potato pie thanks for the memories ❤
I play the hive lots of times but 1 sad thing that my friend can’t play in the hive anymore :( and thx for making the video!
I used to play this sever for 2 years straight everyday its been a year since I stopped really playing it
Half of me regretted leaving the hive and moving on to gacha.I still miss streaming and playing on the server
Nostalgia hitted hard
Missed all those great times
incredible, when the pandemic hits and i'd go play the hive for first time on console. only i'd peaked interest was Hide & Seek and it's was enjoyable alot. made great friends since i'd met them in the public lobbies.
I also have lost interest but, my friends and my brother who kept me going, I want to get better overall as a person so learning is nice.
i never related to a video this much
Amazing how a single Minecraft server can do so much. Good video.
That hub ice was my go to in 2020 class, id just jump because it was easy and i could still half focus on class
completely agree with the intro, the hive (and minecraft and general) just hit different during the pandemic
Playing Hive everyday was peak life eventually got boring but I’ll never forget all the memories
You'll always be a part of my and the hive community's childhood. Goodbye and thank you.
