no one calls it a double clutch transmission. There's double clutching (manual transmission) and dual clutch (automated manual)

The M550i along with other "M" performance models have the satin trim on the grills, mirrors, etc. I think gloss black was an option but not chrome on the particular model. Note the grill slats, etc helped me get 30 MPG highway! A spare is an option that took a good bit of trunk space (down to 15 something) as well as non RFT tires. The M550i was the perfect executive sport sedan without being over the top like some full M models.
