Yeah it’s one of my favorites as well. When I was in college, I answered a poster wanting trumpet players to audition for an EW&F band. They listened to me play, then they gave me 24hours to write out wind parts to a different piece. I got the gig ! Had a blast playing with that group for 2 years. Great music -great fun! 🎺

Did a little practice of Sakura Sakura and decided that I was bored with the... Seven pieces that I have at the moment and then I come online and see that you've uploaded this piece that my jazz jam ensemble play on Friday and Saturday nights at a local burger bar. I've been singing with them for about two years, and last week tried to play this song on my trumpet. Deceptively hard 😌 so once again, thank you amazing man!
