But then - thanks to Forza Horizon 4 - i discovered ODESZA and their Song Late Night and i finally understood what those people mean. I remember when they had 3 shows at Terminal 5 and I’m glad I managed to go to 2 of those shows cuz it was one of the most amazing shows I’ve ever been to
I really dislike the "DJ is dancing on stage" narrative. DJing is pretty easy to learn, but very hard to master. Figuring out how to build a proper set on the fly takes some people years to do. Some one who is adept in Serato can be playing multiple songs at once & doing things not possible in any other performance format. Google DJ E-Zed and tell me he's prancing around the stage with a pre mix. I'm prolly just overly triggered, but, good video nonetheless.

Every time I here someone say something like that I ask them why they don’t do it and make a ton of money. I understand it’s not for everyone, but to dismiss it as talentless is disingenuous.
