I miss all 12 of them together....when they do a reunion album later, they'll literally be a KPOP supergroup! And i agree with you that IZ*ONE's outro/ending parts are so good.. they're actually quite known for it/one of their signature sounds!

I am a latter-day WizOne if you will, having become their stan after the disbandment. I heard La Vie en Rose when IZ*ONE first debuted, but back then I just got into KPOP and my sole obsession at the time was BlackPink. Still kicking myself for not stanning them earlier but now they are my most favorite KPOP group ever. I am making amends by stanning Lesserafim, IVE, Yena, Yuri, Chaeyeon, and Eunbi. Just trying to support all the girls of IZ*ONE as best I can.

idk if you mentioned it or knew but le sserafim yunjin also was in the survival show that created izone, sadly she didnt obviously made the team but im glad that she could reunite with her old friends when le sserafim debuted!
ZB1 are a temporary group from the Planet series (Boys Planet)... it's not technically a Produce series, but tbh everyone accepts that the whole concept is basically similar due to the show being produced by MNET as well. So they're like a continuation of the Produce series if you like. The other temporary group from the Planet series that is still active right now is Kep1er... They are a girlgroup formed from Girls Planet 999, and they are set to disband in the summer of 2024.
43:43 her name is Kwon Eunbi and she is also a soloist now. I recommend her song ‘underwater’

Active limited-contract groups are Kep1er and ZB1. They both came out of the Planet survival show series, (Kep1er from Girls Planet 999 while ZB1 from Boys Planet).

Yeah their japanese tracks are mixed weird for sure, I think it has to at least partialy do with them being produced by the AKB producer so there is no fancy Kpop producing making sure everything sounds clear and crisp. But I do love that all their JP releases are like, TRULY JP in everything it makes them very unique.
Also! I implore I BEG that you check out Kwon Eunbi next. Shes one of the soloist you havent checked and the one who caught your attention in La Vie en Rose! Right now she has

I’m so glad you liked vampire, probably because you already listen to and appreciate Japanese music. But a lot of people don’t like their Japanese releases but I think they’re catchy too (probably because I’m used to it living in Japan haha)
La Vie en rose is french btw. It means "life in pink"
what i always loved from izone japanese tracks is that the songs do actually sound like jpop, in contrast to other kpop groups who only translate the lyrics and even use the same mv
if you like yujins voice so much you should listen to izone daydream and izone sequence and izone highlight, she shines so much in those songs
IZONE was the first 4th gen group to compete in sales with Twice and Blackpink. It was unheard of for girlgroups at the time, the amount of sales they made. Afterwards, groups like Itzy followed, but like you said, if IZONE wasn't a 2.5y group, they probably would've had even more succes

Kep1er is a mnet produce/planet group that's still currently active. They'll disband around mid 2024. So you should catch-up to their stuff to experience following a temporary produce group.

vampire is a Japanese release and produced by a different studio who preference vocals over the overall mix compared to the Korean studios, I also hear the difference, to me it doesn't sound as polished but I think its just style choice overall
