    PERFECT TIMING!!! I decided to try to curl my hair this evening, and all I have is a curling iron. My hair is on Day 3 (LOVE Batiste Dry Shampoo), and I thought I would have better luck trying it when my hair has product in it. Until recently, my hair was way too long, but my stylist decided I needed 3-4 inches cut off of it at my last appointment. I cried when I got home. But now I'm trying to see it as an opportunity to try a few new hairstyles. THANK YOU for doing this video, beautiful 😁🤗❤️

    Your curls are so perfect ,I’m loving the tousled curled hair look. You get so much volume and definition into your hair. I always find where I fall down is at the end after applying the hair spray then allowing to set, continue to brush out hair. At this point during brushing my hair I lose all definition of the curl and I am left with a wave rather than a curl. I really enjoyed this tutorial. I’m looking for to your next video hugs and kisses Jessica

      @delaneykanavel3407 6 років тому

      one tip if your curls dont have much definition- use a texture spray or even a dry shampoo, and DO NOT brush out your curls unless you want pretty loose waves. hope this helped.

    How long will your hair stay curled just like this, and when does it start flattening out? Do you go through a “not curly, but lots of volume” stage, or directly to flat? I love your hair and am becoming addicted to your videos!

    The crispy hair always cringe me too.. the hairdressers here do this all the time, they curl a little section and put a ton of hairspray on it (even before and after) ahh i hate it, when you move, your hair stays in place ughh.
    One time I went to a hairdresser (to do my hair for graduation) and I told her I wanted curly hair and showed a picture of a hairstyle similar to yours in this video and she was like "well, those are not curls, just waves" and made me crispy hair instead.. as I arrived home I started crying, washed my hair and did it to myself. It turned out amazing, I won't go to hairdressers to curl my hair again.
    This video was really helpful😊

    How often do you wash your hair a week? How many hairstyles can you get in-between each wash? Except for special occasions (I'm guessing), do your hairstyles increase each day? ex. blowout, curls, braids, then wash? and repeat with variants?

    So I just starting watching your videos and I gotta say I love them. Second do you have thin or thick hair? Mine I have curly/wavy but thin, so when I try to do your styles that look kind of flat. I have found by using extensions it helps thicken my hair so it make the styles look better. So I how can I get my hair styles looking full with out using extensions?

  • @iAMbekahx3
    @iAMbekahx3 6 років тому

    Okay in all fairness as far as the no brushing out thing: Sometimes for people whose hair falls really fast it's actually better not to brush out. Because the curls relax on their own after some time, by the time they get to where they're going, they'll look less crazy. And if they were to brush them out ahead of time they'll have like no curl.

    What’s the difference between wrapping it around the barrel and using the clamp? Does it affect the curls?

    • @lisaw.williams1194
      @lisaw.williams1194 6 років тому

      Jessica Tipton I personally think wrapping the hair around the curling iron is much easier than using the clamp, and it allows you to control the shape of the curls better too. Plus, when you wrap the hair around the barrel, you don't get that weird "crimp line " in the curl like you can when using the clamp. That's just my personal preference though. Have a great week!

    What’s the difference between a curling iron and wand? Isn’t the way you curl the exact same thing? I thought this was going to be using the actual clip.
    Like I know the difference is the clip between a regular curling iron and a wand. A wand doesn’t have one. But the curl effect is the exact same thing.

    • @iAMbekahx3
      @iAMbekahx3 6 років тому +1

      Some people have an easier time using the clip. Some people have an easier time freehand wrapping. It's just a preferance thing. There also are methods using the clip that give slightly different curl patterns such as figure 8 or figure 6 if you Google those. Although spiral is the shape that most people prefer nowadays and is basically what is achieved with the wrapping wand method.
