First hand experience….. I came in Sept’22 studying MSc international business. It took me 6 months to find a part time job in London after 50 rejections. It takes efforts and patience to secure one.
Hey man! I'm too planning to come in September 23 for the same course, what is the scope of the course and job process? Also, any tips on getting the party time?
@@devesh584 Hey, let me tell you a little bit about the part time segment. So first I applied in many retail units but unfortunately I got rejections from most of them, then I applied for social care work and got selected. The pay is good, they pay you 10-15 GBP per hour and 15 GBP on bank holidays (if you are working). Apart from that you get access to some exclusive discounts. So I’ll recommend you to apply in social care sector as much as in retail, give both the sectors importance since the day you land here. About the course, you can apply to any job with this degree that one can apply with an MBA, condition of getting an offer letter is of course your experience and if the company is sponsoring visas. Hope this helps :)

Hi i am from India and in the events industry, on tier 2 visa. The best way to see if its a good idea is calculate your expenses and see if you’re salary is able to cover them. I share Avi's sentiment - the initial phase can be challenging, even with a job and a skilled worker visa. Yet, with time, you begin to find your footing. The process of transition is never straightforward. Whether it's moving from the India to UK for work or study, it would similarly be an adjustment for anyone. Just like adapting to a new country, navigating busy airports can be a challenge too. That's where services like *Express Parking* can really help simplify the travel experience.

Hi Gaurav and Avi, thanks a lot for this video. Me and my husband came to the UK this Jan for my masters. I can relate to many things you have said. Part time job is really a big stress, we both got survival jobs after 2 months of coming here and got accommodation after 1 month of coming here. It's been 4 months now, my husband is trying to look for a job in his field, he has 12 years of industrial experience in mechanical and machine maintenance, last he was working as a manager in India but we are flexible here to accept any position in the beginning. We are finding it really hard to find a job for him, he has applied at many places but not hearing back from the recruiters or companies. Also, I have heard people saying they prefer local people more instead of people from other countries. I have experience of 6 years in digital marketing from India and pursuing the same course here, but I am just afraid whether I'll be able to get a job in my field, because right now also, I see many part time jobs in digital marketing on Indeed but when I apply, I am not hearing back from them. Please guide what shall we do for my husband's job as it is creating a lot of stress for both of us and that's making us really unhappy and make us think that we should leave and go back to India.
I was born in the UK, I think what helped me was to improve my command of the English language. Immerse yourself in the language and the culture, read books and watch films. Always be ready to strike up a conversation with anyone and don't let fear stop you. Just saying "hello" to someone can make all the difference to your day and to someone else's. Secondly, you have to demonstrate that you can hit the ground running when you start a new job, bring value to the business and make a difference. Demonstrate it with examples. Wishing you all the best.
I'm genuinely glad to hear that my guidance has been helpful to you and your family as you navigate life in the UK. Remember, there will always be naysayers, but focusing on the positive impact you've experienced is what truly matters. If you ever have more questions or need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing you all the best on your journey ahead! 🌟🇬🇧

Hard work pays off anywhere in the world, however hard/smart working in the UK pays very generously compared to any third world country for sure. The UK is one of best countries ive ever lived in. However London has become a nightmare to live in due to inflation. Think smart. Start your business empire in the UK and outside of London and redevelop your motherland while you do all of this!

Could you please help me understand something? In the past, we harbored a strong hatred towards white people who ruled over us. We were vehemently opposed to being governed by them and even forced them to leave our land. However, it is curious that now we seem to have a different perspective. We follow them to their country and view it as a great privilege to live under their direct governance once again. We even beg for their citizenship, seek asylum, and ecstatically embrace their flag. It raises the question of what "hypocrisy" truly means. Some argue that times have changed. Would this mean that if they were here today, we would have tearfully pleaded for them to stay?
Glad someone thinks on the lines that I do. Most of them are selfish. They want to have best of two worlds. Indian govt should protect it's citizen first. Those who availed system benefits should serve the country for 5 years. Min eligiblity should be there to avail system benefits as well. Unfortunately, nothing is going to change. Rich will get richer and poor gets poor in countries like India.

@@venkatnarayanan9246 What do you mean by selfish? So if I find Germany to be technologically better and decide to study there I am selfish? If I invested money in studying abroad because education system in India is shit I am selfish? If I spent money to study abroad then to repay the loan I need to work abroad so I became selfish? Indian private companies make you work like a fucking dog and if I find the work life balance in developed countries good which gives me peace of mind, I am selfish? If I come abroad and find that the air I breathe is not polluted at all and there is no dirt and dust which is causing eye infection, then I am selfish? If I come to a European nation and learn their language because I like learning new languages and interacting with people who speak that language, I am selfish? If I like to explore the world as well as other cultures because I am young and want to live my life, I am selfish?

Best of luck as even I am coming soon.

This country is not for engineers unless its IT eveb then USA is better for that. All enginnering jobs are abroad. India will be booming soon.
Don't underestimate wit and humour.
Guys you have helped me and my family a lot in terms of UK life and guidance. Ignore the naysayers 🙏
I agree with all info provided..When i came in 2021 jan ..I was in the 2nd batch of PSW ..i didnt struggle much to get part time jobs…but now I am struggling even in getting full time , with inflation in living cost, struggling to save money to pay loans..and I consider myslef lucky because I completed my masters with distinction…but the life of the students who came recently is very very hard …god bless eveyone
Did you find full time job now? Wishing you all the luck in life

Great job you both Guys ❤
I was following you since before coming UK. Almost since 1 and half years ago. Keep it up 💪👍🏻🎉🎉❤❤
Thank You 🙏🏻👍🏻
Your work is very informative. It seems that life in the UK is like about Survival of fittest as the concept regarding evolution which was discovered by Darwan.
True at least in london
Everything spoken in this video is an absolute truth.. Indians who think the Grass is greener on the other side, Hang on, think before you make a move
I have called GP today in Leamington Spa the same city as yours .. and got an appointment today itself .

Its harsh truth. Life in foreign countries wirhout any family support. But eventually everything will be better at the end. What i observed in last one year life is same even in india if both partners are working in india. Work culture is far better.
This video contain and your explanation both fantastic
Thanks both of you 😊
Most welcome 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts we need further addition current condition and experience at UK time to time.

Thank you for collecting so much information and passing it to us. This video is very helpful for me as I am planning to come to uk. You guys are really the best ❤❤
Nice sharing😊😊
Indians are poor but good. I love my india.🇮🇳🇮🇳 Joy Hind, Joy Bharat.
Really nice factually correct video which helps to plan UK life. Would be interested to hear your opinion on Indians who have lived in UK for 5 years on business visa and unable to decide should we go back to India or live here. If you can put some videos on this topic please for pros and cons of settling in UK v India
sure 👍🏻
very good video. Please make more videos on reality in the UK like this. Thanks a lot
Thank you, we will
Thanks for sharing
Everything you guys said is true. Its been a year and a half for me and I can relate to everything
Bitter truth, but it can't be avoided...."mental health sufferance is so common for people, not only in England but i guess in whole Europe....Nurses, carers and students somewhere facing lots and lots of difficulties in mental health, daily expenses, biased work balance as well as weather fluctuation domains....."
Hi, Avi and Gaurav , first of all I would like to thank you for making such interesting and informative videos. You both are so sweet and your videos are so informative. it helps us a lot to understand how life is in uk .
Thanks a lot for sharing this video. It might sound a bit disappointing to many who are aspiring to come to UK but this is harsh reality. Appreciate your continued guidance and enlightenment on such varied topics.
thanks for watching ❤️
This is an eye-opener video, not a negative video, thank you guys for showing us the reality. This is most important.
thanks a lot ❤️
True reality in uk
Very informative...keep up the good work 👍 God bless you both 🙏 👏
Avi aap bura mat feel karo, I am also here since last 10 years settled and took citizenship. People will say number of things, why would well all go back. I completely agree with you. After doing so much hard work and buying home and having jobs inflation is everywhere why should we go back. You both are doing great job and Avi you are too sweet yaar. And Gaurav is amazing and so supportive.
thanks 😊👍🏻
Its really very informative video, thank u both of u
My cousin returned back home to Pakistan 🇵🇰 because he said In Pakistan he lives like 🤴 King, and in England 🇬🇧 he was chasing jobs to pay for rent, food, bills and sending money back home to relatives phew 😅
😂😂😂😂
England and USA are done ... homeland is best😊
Well said. Something wrong with indians and their dharma
@@venkatnarayanan9246 You are correct. These individuals exhibit true hypocrisy as they selfishly prioritize monetary gains, forsaking their own country and neglecting their aging and vulnerable parents. Their actions resemble those of slaves, driven by a subconscious desire for servitude, leading them to migrate to countries where they serve individuals of foreign descent, whom they had previously expelled from their own homelands in the pursuit of freedom.
Well you are speaking the language of those white people as well
@@venkatnarayanan9246 What do you mean by selfish?
First View :). You guys are great
Bhai sabse important baat samjhne ki ye ha k har vaqt ka apna challenge hota ha aur ap jis era mei hoge use ki challges apko face kare parte ha - mei 2008 mei aya tha UK tabh financial crisis peak pay the tabh bhe yehe batien hoti the k bhai kuch nahe ha uk mei - lekin slowly sab thk hojata ha
Mere pas bhe work experience nahe tha magar mei ne aik accountancy firm mei 6 months voluntarily kaam kiya without pay thats how i got experience under my belt and rest is history
In summary, I will encourage each and everyone of you to come over to UK as i can assure you if you work hard in this country then you will be rewarded immensely so stay positive and optimistic #harrisspeaks

If you earn above £100k/year then the UK is the best place to live. I work in financial industry, own my own firm as well. I can't think of any other country that provides you this level of quality infrastructure at the same time easily accessible to Europe. Winter time its easy to move to Portugal or Spain. Best restaurants in the world, best fruits and veggies, organic meat, fresh air and water, quality healthcare, high HDI, what else you need.
They won’t get this. They are use to being served by servants in India and expect even better here. Of course they will struggle, but that’s true for anyone moving to a new country initially
life was difficult in uk us even in the 1960s ...lndia is just about starting after 75 years...growth in lndia for next 100 years is mindblowing
Keep on dreaming.

Please do a vedio on what skills are technologies need to learn? And what an recently masters completed student should do to get an sponsorship job in software??
True.. Good one
Thank you for this amazing video. Highly informative.
I am new to this channel, but I can say that both of you’ll are doing an amazing job creating down-to-earth videos.
Can you make a similar video, but from a viewpoint of a person coming to work there on skilled visa. Things like housing in London & neighbouring area, cost of living, monthly expenses (electricity, heating, food, etc), all essentials like insurance & others important things.
I can’t obviously mention everything as I don’t know what’s important and what can done in due course of living in UK.
This will be most appreciated and helpful.
Good luck to you both. May God bless you with lots of success and a happy life😊
Aab koii positive vibes bhi dedo please guys...yeh sab log jante haii ki essay nhi haii UK me Rehna please support All the arrivals...🙏
The current situation is not suitable for new students coming in. After Covid, UK needed money and they have opened PSW for foreign students. You spend nearly 30 lacs to come here and do menial jobs. I have 3 students working with me who have all spent approx 30 lacs each to come here, do a course and not find any jobs in their field. Bhai teen bande 1 crore mein India mein accha khasa business kar sakte ho.
Is the job situation for post graduates any better now after completing 1 year Masters course from good Universities?? Like Engineering, MBA etc. Most of my friends and acquaintances have immigrated to UK in 2022/23 due to lack of good job opportunities in India and very high competition here.....waha pe bhi kya aisa hi chal rha hai kya??
Nice video 💯💯💯

Hi both,
You both are making really interesting and informative videos. I really appreciate it. I have a lot of doubts regarding pensions in the UK. Can you please make a video regarding the pension scheme in the UK and specifically how can we transfer the pension amount to India if in case we required? Do we need to pay any extra tax when we transfer and what would be the procedure to do it. Please make a video on this topic.
