I hope everyone appreciates the dedication and skill this humble craftsman is willing to share. I love how he talks in easy to understand terms while working. Takes the mystery out, and we realize with effort and focus, most things are possible. ❤ .
Lot of respect for this guy in what he’s doing he’s came soo far in the past view years learn sumthin new every time I watch. He’s a crafter… chad one of a kind 👍
That will work Chad it will be there when we are long gone. I have a war time 1942 Ford coupe and look at the factory weld and think of the young man who did such a great job and gone on to the Lord.i don't want to disturb his work .
It makes me feel good to watch all that chad does with all his toys,,I’m so glad he makes it so we can all shear his escapades,,thank you chad an Jolene an fina too for always bringing us along with you,,luv ya’s 👍👍😀
I think you’ll find Chad has hundreds of videos that would be of help to you. Very entertaining and you are sure to pick up at least a few tips on each one I think
Chad is one artist with that zip cut. I was a pipefitter on a welding slab & that fine grinding is not as easy as you might think. Jolene, you caught it very well with your close ups. Great teamwork...
You definitely have to be careful while grinding the stringer bead. During my apprenticeship I gave more than one welder fits I’m sure. Looking back 60 or so yrs I now realize how important (and fortunate) I was to learn from some of the finest welders in the world.
@@i8ntnuts I too had great teachings when I started out. My two main welders would give me inspiration when telling me I did wrong, and then walk me thru what was better. I learned quickly and well. Thanks for your note.
Chad I know that you will make it look right for you have great talent with metal. Hi Jolene I haven't forgotten about you. God bless and you and Chad have a blessed night
As the man speaks! if you like it, take it away with you, if you don't then throw it away. He does thing his way, because that just the way he like and enjoy his ways. I agree we all have out different approach to doing what it is we do. Just follow and enjoy, even those who! think their professionals, can still learn something. Thank you Chad, thank you Jolene and thank you Doug wherever you are.
Thanks Chad & Joelene for the daily feeds. Chad provides a great daily Masterclass in practical and creative approaches to repair and design of his craft. The videos provide excellent visual detail of the process. Thank you.
I love the way he shows how he makes these body panels doing it old fashioned forming parts by hand with no high tech tools 🧰 just all hand tools a mig welder and grinders he reminds me of watching my dad do this kind work he learned his skills in the 50’s and 60’s with no modern tools like have now a days. that why love watching this Chanel because it’s old school techniques the way videos are filmed makes it easy to follow along because of the close up’s you able how make these panels this is great teaching channel I appreciate the time and effort they put in to every video 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I developed a real appreciation for the 56 Plymouth's over the last few years and Chad's work inspires me to go out and get one. I like the White Walls and the hubcaps and I hope he keeps them on after he's finished
They really are attractive cars. Probably the little small block Chevy 265 and 283 had a lot to do with the Chevy being so popular. Otherwise, I think the Mopar’s we’re on par with many of the 50s GM cars
After being in HVAC for over 30 years I have purchased every damn brand out there and I found that Ridgid cordless tools are by far better than anything else but it seems that corded grinders Dewalt is one of the best. I use my cordless Ridgid grinder more than anything else but if I was cutting as much as you do I would use a corded grinder but bottom line is I have over a thousand dollars worth of Milwaukee tools that sit in a box stored away because I was tired of fixing them. I have never once had an issue with my Ridgid tools.
From time to time we use a back up strip to help prevent burn through’s. Or, if you have access, you can try holding a small block of brass behind the work piece To keep the puddle from falling out/off
I know that panel was a tricky one to do. But Great job Chad. I know you care about your work. As you described not leaving hammer marks in the metal. Another awesome video Jolene!!
I really like your approach with this. It's the approach I use with all my cars. They are drivers and not trailer queens. So the question you need to ask yourself is how much time are you willing to invest in your project? For me it is always to do the best job possible but get it on the road quickly so I can enjoy driving it.
Your skill set is so well rounded and talented, it is almost frustrating watching how easy you make something look that is something I will never be able to do.
He see's the vision and does it , if it doesn't work out he'll try again and again , but usually uses the piece he fab-first and keeps going with sucess! As usual I cant wait to see the icing on the complete cake ! Hi! J&F.&N
I hope you and Jolene, Doug and Nathan have the hatches battened down, as it looks like a hurricane is going to give Nova Sctia a swat this weekend. Your yard has lots of loose flat stuff (signs etc.) that could go flying around. The '56 is looking great, brings back some memories of my youth and tooling around with my buddies.
very worthy man you are chad. admire your work and your valuable info. thank you for your time sharing. hope to make some educational videos on painting secrets for beginners and how you must progress the painting chapter.
I've regretted it. I've gone back to all corded tools. They last longer you don't have to buy new batteries you don't have to remember to charge. The only cordless I keep is a drill for short jobs.
Yep the real time with welder is especially helpful, I’ve seen guys do it but it always has the time laps making it hard to understand the welding process. With chad it’s real time.👍
Always great to watch you work. Explaining as you go is so much appreciated. Great skills Chad, really great. Thank you for all the great content. Jolene is always fantastic with the camera. I wonder if she took courses for the camera work as she always seems to know when to zoom in and out. Very smooth operator, thank you Jolene hope you’re reading this.
Yo bro wuz up ? How you been doing? Hey just wondering when you gonna jump back on the doodlebug I hope very soon. Bud you truly are the master no doubt 🤷♂️.
Great job just going with the flow Enjoying life. and having fun while you’re working, there’s no other feeling like that getting lost in your head that’s pretty cool great job once again I support you 100% and what you do one other thing having your wife by you means the world I know because me and my wife are the same way, God bless you and see you later my friend
People do not realize at least at the time I was at the factory Chevy's Pontiacs and Oldsmobiles Buicks would all come down the same line the men woman on the line would just have a selection of different make parts it's kind of awesome
Chad is a natural teacher !
Chad you are a true master of your craft bro you can build anything
Looking good chad, you are one talented man. School never tuaght anybody the skills and knowledge you have champ.
Badchad is doing good work
Chad is a good businesses man as well. Good job..
I hope everyone appreciates the dedication and skill this humble craftsman is willing to share. I love how he talks in easy to understand terms while working. Takes the mystery out, and we realize with effort and focus, most things are possible. ❤ .
💯
I appreciate a car channel that doesn't involve vulgar language.
I love how Chad is doing this car he's keeping it simple so anyone can do it
Yes, but is he doing it right? That's the big question.
He's doing a good job judging the condition of the car, its value, and balancing the amount of work vs the cost and time without going overboard.
Awesome skill!! I love watching you!!
I like the way Chad makes things work no fancy tools that everyday guy can do at home true craftsman
Lot of respect for this guy in what he’s doing he’s came soo far in the past view years learn sumthin new every time I watch. He’s a crafter… chad one of a kind 👍
So nice to see friends working together in such a happy environment. Passion, does a project good.
This is a really great tutorial for aspiring sheet metal workers. Excellent work and excellent camera work as well!
The camera work really enhances the show. 🎉
That will work Chad it will be there when we are long gone. I have a war time 1942 Ford coupe and look at the factory weld and think of the young man who did such a great job and gone on to the Lord.i don't want to disturb his work .

The young Lady doing the camera work is doing a outstanding job! The close ups are great!
"You can say, Yay or Nay".....Yay! Keep up the good work
Wow, that was pure skill grafting that new panel into the other . Much respect Chad . Great filming Jolene!
Simple rust repairs on a budget, great show
This rust repair is a help to me ,Rust is a long time fight for me .Please keep doing this from
time to time for men like me .
I think you’ll find Chad has hundreds of videos that would be of help to you. Very entertaining and you are sure to pick up at least a few tips on each one I think
My the end of this video I was left with the thought of how excellent the filming of the repair was done. Beautiful Work!!

Really clever, amazing work !!
Looking great...as always. Thanks again Chad and Jolene for the lessons.
Chad can fix anything and make it look good.

Thanks Chad & Joelene for the daily feeds. Chad provides a great daily Masterclass in practical and creative approaches to repair and design of his craft. The videos provide excellent visual detail of the process. Thank you.
As always great to see how Chad gets the job done with a few basic tools, ofcourse thanks to Jolene for the excellent filming

Thanks for that tip, i used the coat hanger to fill gaps on my project, i have learned allot from you Bad Chad thank you "
The 56 Plymouth wears its fins well. Not over the top like some other brands. This one is def worth your time fixing it. She's really coming along!
Real nice repairs. Very interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Doing it to my 65 Dart GT 273.Youve been a lot of help seeing it thru
No naps in the Shop today, Fina !
Good evening Jolene and chad hope your having a wonderful day and your ready for the big crazy storm that’s coming
Wonderful to see this project come along.

New Milwaukee is terrible
Every time I weld new metal to that old stuff I burn holes holes in the old metal. Chad makes this look easy. Nice work.
From time to time we use a back up strip to help prevent burn through’s. Or, if you have access, you can try holding a small block of brass behind the work piece To keep the puddle from falling out/off
Excellent problem solving Chad! And Jolene is doing an awesome job on the camera work!
I know that panel was a tricky one to do. But Great job Chad. I know you care about your work. As you described not leaving hammer marks in the metal. Another awesome video Jolene!!
This is cool to see restoration
I'm planning on doing my first paint job, and I want to do single stage. Which would be easier, enamel or urethane?
Great job Chad and Jolene hello Nate and Fina!!
I looked at the weather forecast for Pinetree looks like Saturday rain and Sunday looks good for racing. 🤞 1 nice patch you got there Champ! 😉✌
Very good looking car .Chrysler were known for styling back in the day
You are making the car look good Chad and Jolene 👍
Looks great so far going to be a head turner when you drive it 👍🏻🇺🇸
I really like your approach with this. It's the approach I use with all my cars. They are drivers and not trailer queens. Nice job on the patch panel. The only hard part I see is matching up the paint on the car with the 2 tones. Chad and Jolene keep doing what you do.
Your skill set is so well rounded and talented, it is almost frustrating watching how easy you make something look that is something I will never be able to do.
Very nice repair Chad ,a job well done sir !! Thanks fir sharing Jolene
Do you ever use weld through primer when I lay metal on metal I always use weld through primer lasting repair
That will be a cool ride because not to many old Chrycos get saved anymore
Very nice job Chad and Jolene
your camera work is amazing
Chad is the Bob Ross of body work-- pierre patenaude
truth
He see's the vision and does it , if it doesn't work out he'll try again and again , but usually uses the piece he fab-first and keeps going with sucess! As usual I cant wait to see the icing on the complete cake ! Hi! J&F.&N
Like always great job Chad, that car is looking very nice and clean, is a nice car.
😳
Great video thank you.
That’s a Milwaukee grinder. Makita is green and IMO the best. Take care with the hurricane heading directly to you guys. 🙏
very worthy man you are chad. admire your work and your valuable info. thank you for your time sharing. hope to make some educational videos on painting secrets for beginners and how you must progress the painting chapter.
You've done a great job Chad , l think it's a much better improvement from what was there before 👍
Very educational as usual. Maximo respeto. saludos desde TIJUANA MEXICO.

Awesome, Thanks
great job thanks Jolene the close up shots love it
Fantastic camera work Jolene 👌
Good thinking for a nice driver Chad. Jolene makes great videos every day.
Good Job Looks good
Great job...proper, tidy common sense repair. Great job 👏
Dewalt grinder, two batteries, one on charge ready to go.
Last for ages.
Won’t regret it.
I can also say don’t buy Canadian tire grinders, they last about 10 minutes
I've regretted it. I've gone back to all corded tools. They last longer you don't have to buy new batteries you don't have to remember to charge. The only cordless I keep is a drill for short jobs.
It's a Milwaukee grinder not MAKITA
Makita is Japan Makita is top tools.
Milwaukee used to be America, now it's made in China crap.
Hervorragende Arbeit. 👍👍👍 Grüße aus Österreich.
Yep the real time with welder is especially helpful, I’ve seen guys do it but it always has the time laps making it hard to understand the welding process. With chad it’s real time.👍
Hey Chad here's an Idea!!! You need to make a welder wand with an air attachment on the side . If you're not using air at the moment just unhook it
Always great to watch you work.
Nice one guys. Looking tidy now 👍👍
Plugging along on the repairs. Nice camera work.
Great repair guys!!!
GOOD JOB!
Love your work chad.
are you still attending the jamboree ? supposed to be quite rainy and windy here and pretty bad up in your area ?
Thank you
Made some sense to my project
You Always Amaze Me!
That's what's WHAT Folks! Bad Chad on the Wheels of Steel 🏆
Just wanted to let you know that you are good at that. Keep up the good work.

A lot of restorers wouldn't bother with lower end cars to fix like this. They'll only take on 100k resto jobs.
People do not realize at least at the time I was at the factory Chevy's Pontiacs and Oldsmobiles Buicks would all come down the same line the men woman on the line would just have a selection of different make parts it's kind of awesome
