Dalren, on the front cowl, did you drill out all of the little holes around the windshield, or just the main ones? Seems it would make sense to drill them all out first so you know where to place photoetch bolts later.
Dalren, That's a beautiful Build! Did you use carbon fiber on the fenders and if so do you know where I could find a tutorial on how to carbon fiber. I've never done it before and I'm now building the RC213V and I would like to use carbon fiber. Thx, Mac
@@DalrenModels The problem I am having is on the swing arms on the RC213V. I can't find any tutorials on how to do them. When you made the templates, did you do it in one piece or several pieces? And if you clear coated over them, did you brush it on or did you mask the whole part and airbrush those two little strips?
@@DalrenModels ... I'm looking forward to watching the new build, just seen the hobby design detail up set video. I think I might have to get the Honda for my next build.
@@DalrenModels Thanks, appreciate your videos - what is an HD air valve and where can I get? I am following your build, and that's why I am asking for specific info.
Hi Dalren, I'm still watching and I really like your work. I was wondering if you would tell us what color paints you used on your frame and did you use any clear coat? Thx, Mac
Hi, they are made by Marcomotodesigns. You can find them on eBay. He has a Facebook page where he announces when they are available. You can also get them from Hiroboy.
The easiest way is to use some thin paint, of a different type as that used on the calliper, then once painted use a small amount of thinners on a cloth and you can wipe the excess away, only leaving paint in the recessed area.
Beautiful build my free orange wheels just pop out there

Hi, yes, I drill holes wherever I am fitting either aftermarket bolts, or PE bolt heads so I can see the location points after paint etc.

Thanks. Yes, it was carbon decals. If you have a look in the ‘tutorials’ playlist on my channel I have a couple of videos on applying them 👍🏻

I did them in one piece. I then masked off and sprayed the clear coat only over the CF
And which video of yours shows you putting in the air valves on the Repsol Honda?
I show it on the video for the rear swingarm.

Hallo, what color for engine have you used.?? Best regards from Germany
Love this build! I've seen a few builds with the green clear hose, where is this from? I've been searching high and low, but can't find it anywhere.
Thanks Elliot. The only place I can find it available now is here: www.bnamodelworld.com/model-cars-motorcycles-detail-up-parts-hobby-dragon-cmcp0003
@@DalrenModels ... Amazing, thank you!!! Do you have any new bike builds on the go atm?
You’re welcome @@els46. Just starting the CBR1000RR-R so videos will be coming soon...

I just ordered Top Studio 1/12 Air Valves (large) and they are too small. What did you use?
I used HD ones.

It was the silver that came in the Zero Paints set for the bike

Dalren, when you drill out that big nut where the swing arm meets the frame, what exactly do you replace it with later?
I have a variety of bits I use. If you do a search for motogp axle, or hex nut I’m sure you will find something.
@@DalrenModels Yes, but what goes in the hole after you have drilled it out?
If you mean for the axle, I use aluminium tube as it’s needed to mount it on the jig. It’s not needed if you aren’t using a jig.
Hey Dalren the bike is looking sick can you tell the diameter of the wire you used for the break cable and the green hose Thank you for your help
Hi jamie, the brake cable was 0.6mm. The green hose was 1mm, but I was able to shrink it to around 0.85mm with some heat.
Hey Dalren Thank you for all your help
jamie Garvin no problem 🙂
Hi! one question. Where can I buy the stand for build theses bikes?
Hi, they are made by Marcomotodesigns. You can find them on eBay. He has a Facebook page where he announces when they are available. You can also get them from Hiroboy.
Dalren Models thanks so much! :)
Could you tell how to paint that super tiny 'brembo' red letter ?
The easiest way is to use some thin paint, of a different type as that used on the calliper, then once painted use a small amount of thinners on a cloth and you can wipe the excess away, only leaving paint in the recessed area.
@@DalrenModels oh okay noted..thanks anyway
where do you get the frame jig from? what is it called?
It’s a motojig from Marcomotodesigns. He lists them on eBay, as well as a few online stores, like www.hiroboy.com
