OH! YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS TOO!! ((I just found out!)) The rule changed for canadian WHV to Japan!!!! You can renew another year!! so its now a max 2 years!!!!!! I got mine the other day and they said the rules change December 1st 2024. So, mine is still 6 months + extension, but I can extend it for 1.5 years now when i do!!

I've been filming the entire process from start to finish on how to import animals since its such a confusing and long process. I remember when I first searched how to do it I was like "this seems hard" (there was no actual videos on the topic from Canada) so I went to get one of those companies to do it for me until i found out they charge literally $5k PER ANIMAL. Like WHAT. haha.
I THOUGHT U WERE FAMILIARRRR but yeah the internet is really not that deep, like no one cares here. besides youre so pretty and entertaining!! good luck

My wife is Japanese and we got married in Japan in 2019. In 2020 she moved to Toronto where we've been ever since. With the way things are going in this country, we're seriously considering getting the hell out of here and moving to Tokyo. But our cat is literally over 20 pounds, so there's no way he's fitting under the seat in front of us on the plane. 😄
