Ahhhh, such wonderful stuff and it makes me super envious you have the Pappy's in possession. My day will come someday. I am a fan of the Woodfords as well and they are always accessible and reasonably priced.
+Colin Kelly Hello Colin, Woodford is great, after making this video I went out and purchased a bottle. I got most of these bottles before the craze hit. It will diminish as most things and then it will become more available. All the best, Bill
Knob creek it's something you should try as a everyday the reg 9 year small batch is just perfect at 100 proof! It's my no guilt drink that I enjoy. Good mixed or strait!
My friends keep me well stocked on all my favorites like Macallans Rare Cask, Glenfidich 19 year Age Of Discovery, Pappy Van Winkles 23 year family reserve, and some cheaper stuff like Whistlepig The Boss Hog from some of my more unfortunate friends. And lets not forget the wine of course while soaking with my wife and a few of her friends in the sauna nothing is better than a nice perfectly chilled bottle of Ridge Monte Bello Cabernet Sauvignon along with my favorite cigar Gurkha His Magestys Reserve, of course my Aunt Lilleth always keeps me in supply. I find most bourbons more attuned to the common man whereas a fine Scotch whiskey for a more noble blood. I really shouldnt but I do enjoy a nice Regis Double Corona while sitting in the back seat while my man James blows the cobwebs out of the Bentley. It is nice to see that at least some americans try to live better even if they cant afford it. Tah Tah.
Very nice!!!! I wish I can get Colonel Taylor here in FL. Very hard to find. I do have 6 bottles of Blantons!!! I love it. The GTStagg would be an icing to my palate. Pappy, just a dream come true nowadays.
Very interesting tour! Thanks a lot for sharing this! Unfortunately - for most of the delicate Bourbons you showed - it would be vey difficult for me to get my hands on it... But I like the Woodfords Reserve and (my favorite stuff I can get here) the Knob Creek small Batch 9yrs...but probably to sweet for you..? Take care and be well!
+Bremen Pipe Smoker Knob Creek is a little sweet but still enjoyable. Like tobacco, i like different flavors on different days. Thanks for your comment. All the best, Bill
I recently got into drinking bourbon- generally, I don't drink alcohol, but I bought a small bottle to cook with, and have been hooked on it! I'm attempting to get my own collection started, but it's hard to start a collection when I keep drinking it!
An enviable collection to be sure. Thanks for the tour and by all means continue with the subject. Fascinating information! All the best (BTW I agree with your wife - now is the time to enjoy some of that elixir.) Peace
First, thank you for your video. For the past 4yrs I've been a fan of Scotch but just recently started experimenting with bourbon. My first was Buffalo Trace, then Eagle Rare, then Makers 46, Blantons and finally Col. EH Taylor Small batch and that was amazing! Only problem is I cannot find the small batch anywhere, however, I see the Single Barrel and Rye pretty often, but those two are a bit more expensive. So my question is have you tried the other two and how do they compare? -S
awesome collection im relatively new to collecting i collect bourbon and jack daniels. i dont have any of the premiums bourbons you have but i hope i can find them in time.
OK you're speaking my language. Our tastes tend to opposite sides of the spectrum but I enjoy the spiceir bourbons none the less. Despite being part of the Beam line, Bookers is a phenomenal pour (IMHO). As an aside, my wife has had dinner with Booker Noe a couple times. It's been quite some time since I've tried G. Stagg, but you've motivated me to try and locate some. cheers!
That is an excellent collection. I am getting up there in the bottle quantity, but just irish whiskeys and scotches! I guess I'll have to give some bourbons a try! I just started up on youtube a few months ago, I would love if you could help a guy out and give some kind of shoutout in a future video. It would be greatly appreciated! thank you!
The single barrel will differ slightly depending on the barrel and will be a bit more complex in flavor. The small batch is very good as well, not lagging far behind in flavor in my opinion.
Nicholas, hope you got a bottle of each. I like the small batch for both flavor and price. The single barrel I found has a maple syrup type sweetness to it.
Alex Hazelwood I did. The small batch is readily available in Nashville. I love it. Had to go home to Milwaukee to find a bottle of the single barrel. Will crack that open Christmas Day.
Stagg jr is beautiful rich bourbon! I live in Canada, so believe it or not, we have a small bourbon collection in our liquor stores, so I buy it whenever I can find the rarer stuff. Wheated bourbon and rye are my favorites, overall. You have an excellent collection, enjoy!
Bourbon is all about the experiences you have with others! Great vid.
You got a nice collection of some very good bourbon. Some of my personal favourites in there.

Sweet!! Four Roses would be some really nice additions!
+1bagger35 I have some in my collection for sure. Maybe a video number 2? All the best, Bill
What a great looking collection. I have only recently started enjoying bourbon, this is the second video in which Stagg jr was show cased. 🥃

Very nice collection! One thing I like about your videos, I always learn something! Cheers!
That is very kind of you to say. Thank you and all the best, Bill

I hope you enjoyed your 60th. AND one of those Staggs!
An enviable collection to be sure. Thanks for the tour and by all means continue with the subject. Fascinating information! All the best (BTW I agree with your wife - now is the time to enjoy some of that elixir.) Peace
+Skipton95 Thanks my friend, I will open one up soon and enjoy my all-time favorite bourbon. Be well, Bill
WOW! What a collection!
Woodford Reserve is one of the few Bourbons I can get here in Ukraine. Love the stuff!
+Who's Afraid of Erik Nørding? Glad to hear it. It isn’t even available throughout the USA. Happy sipping, Bill
Excellent, from a fellow Philly-ite

I’m jealous man of all that pappy and stagg. I’ve been collecting for a while as well. Still can’t touch pappy or stagg
Now I'm thirsty so I will have to oblige my pallet and have a dram or four :)
+Richard T Go for it Richard! All the best, Bill
Bookers is not a wheated bourbon. No wheat whatsoever in the mash bill. Nice collection.
awesome collection im relatively new to collecting i collect bourbon and jack daniels. i dont have any of the premiums bourbons you have but i hope i can find them in time.
Steven Derby A good intro premium bourbon is Baker! You can probably find that at any liquor store.
The price of bourbon now is just ridiculous.
+Bruce H I agree, hopefully the craze will be over soon and the prices will drop. Be well, Bill

Just like with tobacco, I like different thing different times but Bookers is really good. All the best, Bill
JB's_Beard You must be a Kentucky boy?
Nope lol. Pacific NW born and raised.
Awesome very interesting... You should do some reviews
+marty messina Thanks Marty, that is something I have considered, all the best. Bill
Would you want to trade one of your George T Stagg, for another George T Stagg or William Larue Weller?
Great collection!
What would you say is a fair price for a bottle of Stagg Jr.? I'm asking bc I can get one but it isn't cheap.
Raymaster7482 $55- $70 grab one brother! Hard to find. Grab 2 if you can my friend!
I pay approximately $60 - $65 for Stagg Jr.
No eagle rare?
I agree that Taylor is a top 3 selection; Dickel's is one I would add.
How is the collection now?
That is an excellent collection. I am getting up there in the bottle quantity, but just irish whiskeys and scotches! I guess I'll have to give some bourbons a try! +RhodyPiper Good luck when you decide to try bourbons. They are quite different that what you are used to drinking. All the best, Bill
New England Backpacker I am AMERICAN. Bourbon is life! I fuck with rum and Irish Whiskey if I'm not drinking Bourbbon! FUCK Scotch!!!
What state do u live in?
I have had the Pappy 12, but not the 20! Has anyone tried both? If so, is the 20 year worth the extra cost and seeking?
Yes. I drank 2 bottles of the 2009 Pappy 20 year. Best bourbon 🥃 i ever tasted.
No such thing as Pappy 10 or 12 - thats Van Winkle. Pappy is ONLY 15, 20 or 23 year old.
I'm not doing anything....friend. Let me know when you crack that Stagg!
the prices would be fine if it weren't all the d-bags selling it online and overseas.
I haven’t had the EH Taylor yet. How does the small batch compare to the single barrel?
The single barrel will differ slightly depending on the barrel and will be a bit more complex in flavor. The small batch is very good as well, not lagging far behind in flavor in my opinion.
Cool. Hitting the BT distillery next week. In Nashville I see both on the shelves. You have a wonder collection.
I prefer the Small Batch, it is my everyday go to. I love it neat. A bit less heat than tge single barrel.
Sad that they wont be drank!
Awesome another fellow bourbon collector , it's my downfall with the wife haha
+beans316 Your collection is legendary. I have many more bottles, these were just what I thought were the cream of the crop. Be well, Bill
beans316. I have some old bottles and i want to know what they are worth
wowziees
When you think Cigars think brandy.
I'll sell you my Pappy 23 for $2,300.
Woodford Reserve I drink with Diet Pepsi
You are sitting on a goldmine nowadays with those GTS bottles and the OVW 10. Did you crack one for the 60th? Thanks for sharing!
