Yes! Old Forester 100 is definitely dark and rich. I was hooked on my first sip and rich was the word and sensation I kept coming back to.
People are saying it’s one of the greatest whiskey. Haven’t tried it though

I bought the Of100 last week based on other video reviews, and this makes me feel like I made a good choice. Like the EC B519, but have not tried the SB 94, yet. I need to crack open the OF100. Thanks, great review.
Of course! Glad you enjoyed. You wont be mad at the OF100. EC SmB pales in comparison to the barrel proof batches. B519 was delicious!
Pass on the EC 94, to many other good choices. The Barrel Proof is on the other hand is a must have, but at that high proof it's a different animal.
You can't go wrong with any Old Forester whiskeys. They don't make a bad whiskey. OF 1920 is the best 55 whiskey I know. 100 is a daily sipper.
Blind Jon - By this point, you know I had my money on that OF100 to go all the way. Would be interesting to see these two featured together in the "Last Pour" series....
That might happen pretty soon. I already emptied both of those bottles!
Both are excellent whiskies but I frequently find the OF100 on sale for just under $20 so I usually go with that.

Do you normally drink your whiskey and swish it around or is this just for the blind? Only asking because I can’t imagine you sitting in your patio and swishing it around every time you take a drink. Lol. I love the channel, keep it up.

Me too! I didn't think it would be that far apart but OF took this one down easily.
There is no wright or wrong because it's all about the taste and you. Having said that my taste buds have been shot for a long time but I do like the Elijah Craig better and the Buffalo Trace over the OF 100. I found the OF 100 a little harsh but that's just me.
Very true. Everyone's tastes are different. I can't say that I find the OF to be harsh but it is definitely a different flavor profile than EC or BT.
Based on what I’ve read and drank, there is some inconsistency in the OF 100, some bottles are great, others have some funk
