I cannot believe that Akala could top his previous work by such orders of magnititude as this album. I am in tears and shivering. Wow.

Altough I agree that the current struggle is futile and makes me hopeless. I recall reading a sentence from Malcolm X that describes everything. He said that while we (whoever is protesting) have a sit-down mentaility, we will not achieve anything, because to sit-down is easy, a old woman can sit down, a dog, a disabled man, to sit down is powerless. And if you think about all the protests we have is ASKING for the powerful to change, it's like asking to the slavemasters for the end of slavery.

This is amazing album, possibly the best I've heard of 2013 rap.
the smarter you are the more you start to see the futility of struggle and resistance in a world so unfair, wrong and evil and instead take it as it is, go with the flow and let it all happen wherever the flow may take you
