I don’t have any problem finding an absolute wealth of games that are artistic achievements every year. Thanks to resources being easier to access than ever smaller developers and teams can make incredible games. I genuinely don’t get this whole “modern games bad” perspective, we’ve never lived in an age where there has been more creativity being put into games. The only reason I can think that people would have this perspective is because they only follow tentpole releases and put zero effort into generating a gaming pipeline for themselves of smaller, more impactful titles.
It’s a generalized click bait title, I mentioned toward the end of the video that there are a ton of smaller indie devs who are keeping the spirit of creativity alive and who I plan on doing a video on. Perspectives aside, thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate the input!
@@SharkPig_Media yes i remember, and that would be a great video, but i think you're barking up the wrong tree talking about "agenda's" and games "needing a message now' when they've always had messages, we were just dumb babies when we first played them so we didn't realize it. And there is no agenda, review's are just inherently flawed due to the number scheme and people don't realize the numbers don't matter since they're too lazy to read the actual reviews. Stellar blade was received relatively positively despite being incredibly mediocre, people just saw it as a cultural beacon so they were incapable of actually engaging with as a piece of art. you seem like a well intentioned guy, and i understand the allure of some of these lines of thinking since i was close to there myself in the past, but trust me brother the people who have these opinions are not the ones you want to court as an audience.
I’m eagerly waiting for Stellar blade’s pc release You made a good point about stop pre ordering and wait for reviews but tbh i don’t trust reviews anymore cuz the thing i learned from them is that if game journalists is bashing on a game then it’s a great game like Black Myth Wukong and vice versa
Thanks for watching homie! And 100% the trust is gone with those guys. Way too many bad purchasing experiences and my backlog keeps me busy until the honest and legit reviews come out lmao 😂
I don’t think that’s the ideal way to go about it because you are missing out on a lot of indie and smaller dev bangers. Stardew Valley is one of my favorites.
P3P got a lot of praise for its streamlined mechanics but I will always love the OG on ps2 one the most. That’s awesome you’re on your second. SMT IV is a great time I hope you’re enjoying it! I recommend Digital Devil Saga if you don’t have a ps2, it’s not so hard to emulate. Thanks for watching homie!
"Modern Games Suck" is just totally misleading. Slop AAA games? Sure, but not even the popular ones aside from COD and games like it. Modern games are fucking amazing, especially because indie games are made more than ever. Maybe give them a shot.
My friend! Toward the end of the video I mention a section on how much I appreciate indie devs and that they’re keeping the spirit of creativity alive. Hope you got what I was saying.

I stopped buying and playing modern games after the PS3.

@SharkPig_Media I prefer the classic games from the NES, SNES, N64 and PS2. I don't need modern day games.
I am playing Smt IV these days. Its my second smt game. The first was persona 3 on psp. However, I would like to play it also on PS2.

I agree, except for one game, warframe!
I have never gotten around to playing Warframe! Am I missing out then? Maybe it’s time finally 🤟🏻
@SharkPig_Media a lot of grinding though!
@@Batsjosiah ahhhh mannnnnnnnn lost me at grinding 😂😂 that backlog is starting to get restless
