I hope the newer model fix those issues. I just need a cheap staple gun to install roofing felt for a shed roof and for a screened porch. I hope the new version fixed those issues.
Bought one today at Home Depot and not working . Problem i see on the box - made in china . I wonder if they ever made a quality product . Taking it back and buying anything not made in china .
Its amazing how much water sits at the bottom of the tank on a nice humid day! But to be honest if i think back to all the tools i'v used over the years none have failed do to rusting from air in the lines.
THIS GUN IS A PIECE OF CRAP. I BOUGHT 2 OF THEN AND THE PLUNGER STOPS RETRACTING IN ABOUT 30 DAYS. DON'T BUY IT!
100% right its trash gun. Had problems with it right out the box but it got the job done. I will never need after that one small project.

The stapler will get rusty and misfired if you don’t have a moisture/particle filter on your compressor line.
