A lot of people say Jimmy would be way more competitive than PG13 when it comes far into the Playoffs, I think he has that edge that is needed in the Playoffs, but they forget PG13 was the one who pushed Lebron to 7 games in the ECF.

They're in the news. Read they may try dump some players like Anderson and Beverley and then make a serious run at Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Paul Millsap, or Kyle Lowry, among others. Personally, I doubt whether CP3 would be eager to play with such a ball-centric guy like Harden, but maybe. Certainly more firepower on that roster than Clippers. Lowry back to Rockets? Doesn't seem a likely scenario. To me, Millsap is better suited for the eastern conference, but better durability than Griffin. Going to be a very interesting nba offseason.

You guys need to bump-up the volume a tad on the videos you upload...
The Cavs need to make me the gm. I would definitely move Love to get either Pg13 or Butler but I would also prioritize getting Serge Ibaka and here's why: the Cavs desperately needs a rim protector which ibaka is but he also has the foot speed to guard multiple positions and would be perfect in a small ball lineup against the warriors. And to add to that, he also knows Kevin Durant very well which would give him an advantage to help contain him. he's a seasoned veteran that knows how to win in the playoffs and has been improving his 3 which essentially makes him the perfect stretch 4 for the Cavs offensively and defensively against the warriors. I would also try to get either Pj Tucker, Tony Allen, or Luc Richard Mbah moute who are all great perimeter defenders that can help defend against multiple positions against the warriors. All three would be great as a 6th to 8th man off the bench to give quality minutes as a defender and they know how to play within their roles. Depending on how everything turns out, I would try to unload the contracts of Frye, Shumpert, and even Thompson(who can be replaced by a guy like Dwayne Dedmon). Obviously they need to build to beat the Dubs and I think if they can get butler/pg13 and Ibaka that could be an interesting match up since they would be able to switch on every pick like the warriors does

The way the NBA trades is so suspenseful. Behind the NFL it's my 2nd favorite sport, but the NFL really needs to step their trading game up.

Everyone acts like teams are in such a rush to help out Cleveland stack the deck and take on Kevin Love. This all sounds great but the likelihood it'll happen is slim to me
Paul George nor Jimmy Butler is going to Cleveland so cut the B.S. Why would two dudes in their prime go team up with a 32 year old LeBron James who is someone that the media is pushing as the G.O.A.T ? If you win, yea your a champion but more likely he will get all the credit and adoration and if you lose, it's likely your fault. If I'm an NBA star, I won't go near Cleveland. Kylie Irving being dismissed after hitting the go ahead shot in the 2016 Finals is all any prime NBA all star needs to know of how it's going to go down in Cleveland. Paul George to the Lakers and Jimmy either stays in Chicago or gets traded to Boston. Simple !
Paul George seems like a prideful guy who likes shouldering the responsibility of being the franchise player. No idea how his relationship is with LeBron, but I am going to hold out hope and believe there are still a few old school type stars in the nba who do not obsess about moving around the league just to team up with multiple (super)stars. Guys like George and Butler are still young and just entering their primes. It's up to them if they want to continue to make a name for themselves and build on their legacies. Sounds like Butler is taking the right approach. But time will tell.
Michael Chiorello I agree with you. This AAU era has ruined Basketball. Don't get me wrong I understand that you need multiple quality players to win a championship hence the 80s Celtics and Lakers, 90s Bulls, and early and mid 2000s Spurs but not to the point that you are stripping the rest of the league of quality talent. This was the worst playoffs I've ever seen all across the board and two teams taking up half the talent in the league is not good for the league LONG TERM. Luckily as you said PG and Jimmy look like guys that would rather go down swinging.

The only teams who would take a shot at Paul George via trade would be Lakers (because they know they can keep him) and the Cavs or Clippers (because they are win now teams and they think they would have a shot at keeping him if they play well). I think that the offers from these teams are likely to be:
-Cavaliers: Kevin Love + bag of chips
-Clippers: Deandre Jordan + bag of peanuts
-Lakers: Luol Deng + Julius Randle/27th/28th pick
If I was the Pacers I would prefer the Lakers deal because I am trying to build around Myles Turner so young assets are ideal. However DJ or K Love could both play with Myles Turner because Myles Turner is a very versatile player. I don't know what will happen, because it just depens on what offers the Pacers actually get and which players they prefer.
Now the Lakers just traded Russell for Brook Lopez and a mediocre pick, so I'm just saying don't be surprised if the Lakers give up Randle to get Paul George now to get his bird rights etc. The Russell trade means they don't have to pay his rookie extension in 2018, and trading Randle would actually save them having to pay his rookie extension this summer. Now if the Lakers want a great shot at Lebron in 2018, then trading Randle and Deng would definitely be the way to go, as it seems like they are already all in on the cap space after the Nets trade. I don't know if they can actually trade the expired Randle, but I assume theres some kind of trading of the restricted free agent rights or a possible sign and trade.
Then on Porzingis, Phil Jackson is asking for a top 4 pick and an established starter. Philadelphia just traded for the pick to get Fultz, and Lakers just traded Russell to acommodate Lonzo, so that rules those 2 teams out. That leaves:
-Boston: 3rd pick + Crowder/Bradley
-Phoenix: 4th pick + Chandler/Dudley/Bledsoe
So I just think it depends what those 2 teams are willing to give up, and which offer the Knicks prefer. I like Porzingis on the Celtics but I also like him as a duo with Booker, with TJ Warren, Marquesse Chris, Dragan Bender and Tyler Ullis as a supporting cast. I really hope to see him get out of the Knicks to a better situation. I also don't see how neither Boston or Phoenix is willing to do at least one of those possible trades because Porzingis is terrific.

Jimmy Butler makes A LOT more sense. He is comfortable playing at SG, Paul George has specifically said he doesn't want to play any other position than SM and you know damn well LeBron isn't playing PF. And I would take Jimmy Butler over Paul George everyday of the week. On a scale 1-10 if Butler is an 8 PG13 is a 7.8
The Cavs should get rid of this volatile, unpredictable squad. Kyrie, Love, JR and TT they can be talented; but not reliable stars. The Cavs need two-way players who not only can meet the firepower GSW, also to slow them down defensively because GSW are a great defensive team as well. Just get rid of the contract of JR and convince Chris Paul to take a price-cut to sign. Trade Kyrie with Jimmy Butler. Trade Love with Paul George and trade TT with DeAndre.

Suns have literally 0 interest in Kevin Love. It's not happening. Suns tanked for a reason. We aren't trying to win anytime soon. We're here to wait out the Warriors, and hit our stride right when they fall out of theirs. Only person we trade number 4 for is Porzingis. Bledsoe, #4, TJ Warren if they want him, 2018 Miami 1st Rd Pick, possibly Dragan Bender. We can offer a good package to get a young star, instead of losing assets to get a 29 year old dude with a huge contract that doesn't help us with our goal, which is to be good in 2020.

Why would the Pacers want Kevin Love? You would be mediocre for another 5 years and that's not where you don't want to be. Julius Randle, Myles Turner, #18, #27, #28 - that's your rebuild. You'll most likely get another lottery pick next year as well.
Only thing that doesn't make sense for phoenix is getting a 28 year old when your best player is 20. They need to get a little more talented young players to go with him, it would make sense if they had 3 young guys starting, but really they just have booker out there and on the bench are the young guys like dragan bender. Love at this point wouldn't match up with their timelines. I get they want the cavs to rival the warriors, but if pacers and bulls don't like love then I don't see the cavs being able to get either butler or George. I don't understand how they don't get why pacers and the bulls don't want love. Getting love means being mediocre for 2-3 years. These teams trading their superstar want to totally rebuild not be mediocre. I can see the lakers being able to be mediocre then becoming a great team from free agency, but small markets like Indy and really Chicago too don't get looked at by the top players in the league. Those type of teams have to build through the draft.
These guys are just so pro-Cleveland & Lebron and biased. Truth of the matter is Cleveland do not have enough wiggle room to make the necessary trades because of their ridiculous contracts they gave out plus there is the uncertainty of Lebron staying after 2018
D'Angelo was completely compromised from the beginning dealing with the Kobe bs and then this year they were tanking. They moved him to SG n played very well. He was the scapegoat that's sad.

Don't know what it is, but if you look at the last few drafts it has been incredibly disappointing, littered with injuris and guys that haven't really come close to living up to their potential(barring a few exceptions of course).
Its goina to be straight swap between Knicks and Pacers with Porzingis + a future draft pick and or Courtney Lee for Paul George. Both teams have the same dillema of their star players wanting to go elsewhere Then why not go straight up directly to fill that soon to be hole in your roster.

I disagree completely with phoenix should trade their 4th pick for kevin love. I know it sounds good pairing booker with love but that short term improvement wont mean anything in the west. they have to draft the best young talent in this draft, so that they can grow and develop together like okc with durant, westbrook and harden or curry, klay and green. this is a deep draft too, so you can definityly get someone good with the 4th pick, you already have marquese chriss whose is a great young talent, they should draft fox, a potential great talent at the pg position whose closer to booker age than bledsoe.
