    Key takeaways:
    ------------------------
    1) A pawn storm is a type of middlegame plan where the pawns are launched to the enemy kingside
    2) The point of a pawn storm is to trade off our pawns (opening the files) so our rooks and queen can infiltrate the enemy king!
    3) Defensive maneuvers include avoiding pawn trades or the "rectangle formation" to block them up
    4) Offensive maneuvers include trading pawns, but make sure to fix the enemy pawn in place first to avoid them doing the defensive maneuvers!

Great explanations, thank you! One thing I learned in another video on pawn storms (Chessvibes) is to take advantage of pawn forks. Like, if there's a pawn on h6 and a Knight on f6, the g5 push forces a pawn exchange. No time to close files for black or they lose the Knight.

High quality video again, really enjoyed it. First defense, then offense, queen trade explanations in between for preparation, all in one example position. Well prepared and presented! Looking forward to more videos.

I think more of these middle game strategies would be great as these are what often decide the outcome of the game I find. Just a suggestion.I would love to see you play some games too😊

I've started calling i the "wrecked angle" as your pawn storm can get wrecked easily!
