Hi. The noter is a piece of dowel that they have in long lengths at many builders merchants. It's about 8mm diameter. I cut 8cm lengths. They wear quite quickly so it's worth buying a meter or more and cutting a whole bunch of them.
+Brent Breault - I'm using a guitar pick in this video but normally I'd use a goose quill as the tone is better. But quills are harder to use so it is probably best to start with a flexible guitar pick until you get the hang of strumming.
