So what do you think of the Xtrada series? Which bike would you choose?
Probably 5, because I'm broke.
@@puggyr650 Been there before.
The 6 would be sufficient.
@@rsean32 I'm riding it regularly and it's been pretty enjoyable.

Well done!
Exactly what I was looking for.
I just love your content. So well done, especially for a small channel. Please keep at it! Great stuff here. Thank you, sir.
Thank you for the kind words! 🙏
Great info!
Thanks!
On point .
Thanks
I have a 2020 cube acid hardtail so I'm not in the market for a new bike but recently seen this brand in go outdoors a UK chain of shops. They look great for the money.
Great value brand. They have their own manufacturing so their costs are lower than
most brands.
Probably going to get the Xtrada 5.
Some pretty good specs on the Xtrada such as shimano ball bearing hubs with stainless steel spokes and boost spacing on the back.
Shimano bottom bracket for the cranks and a sealed bearing headset.
I prefer 170 mm cranks but the large comes with 29ers and 175 mm cranks...
I will probably get new pedals but otherwise very worthy for the price.....👍
We are celebrating 35 years of the modern MTB and they are better than ever..🥳
Very nice spec for the money. Enjoy!
Great videos on ur channel
Thank you! 🙏
Insightful video, thanks! Looking to get one of these soon.
Also, just some friendly feedback, would lower the background music a tad bit as it drowns your voice here and there.

This bike is very affordable and also has high quality
I was so ready to buy the Xtrada 5 until i noticed the rear axle. I want a buy without QR so the Xtrada 7 sounds better.
The 7 is a great setup with the most potential for people that like to upgrade.
Great video!! I'm looking at one of these to be used for bikepacking mountain trails....do these have all the accessories to put the bags on? Also...would you recommend them for that? Thank so much in advance!

Thanks. Ive been meaning to do a Siskiu comparison.
Hi would you recommend the polygon Xtrada 5 bike for normal road riding almost every day (around 50km/100km rides or even less) and almost no or little bit of light trail riding?
The Xtrada can certainly be ridden on the roads. However, you are not maximizing capabilities on the road with a mountain bike. It's best to buy a bike for your primary use. If you are using the bike for commuting and occasional off road use, the Polygon Heist is a better choice. If you are riding road recreationally a drop bar road bike like the Strattos will give you the best performance. Bikes designed for road use will be designed and equipped to be most efficient on pavement. That being said the Xtrada has performed well on the road and gravel paths I've ridden it on but I will not win any road races with it. Hope that helps.
Am curious to know if you like the Xtrada 6 over the Vitus Nucleus VRS? Which one is better?
They are both very good bikes. The Vitus is nicely spec'd for the money but there is give and take with both models. With the Vitus, you get the XCR 32 boost Air fork which gets you more adjustability especially if you are above/below average weight. The Xtrada has a better drivetrain with more range. If you do a lot of climbing that would work out better. With the Vitus you are limited to a 1x10 hyrid Shimano/Sunrace drivetrain with 11-46 tooth cassette. The Xtrada has a full 11 speed Shimano drivetrain so you get the excellent Shimano shift quality and a 11-51 tooth cassette. The Vitus frame wont accept a bigger range cassette because it's 135mm qr versus the Xtrada 6 which is 141 boost qr. The boost rear allows for larger cassettes and there are more wheel options available. You can adapt any boost wheel to the Xtrada frame. The Vitus has a decent set of wheels though. The Vitus is hard to beat if you are a not going to tinker. The Xtrada has better upgrade potential IMO. Geometry wise they are similar. Polygon gives lifetime warranty and Vitus, 5 years. Hope that helps.
Hi, Thanks for the video on gravel bike and I am having a S4 and wanting a gravel bike. Kinda stuck between Xtrada and Bend. I am not a hardcore trail biker. What's the most easy bike in terms of efficiency ? TIA
If you're not going to be riding singletrack and staying on gravel most of the time, the Bend will be more efficient.
Man, that finish on the 7 could almost make a guy feel like he's on a yeti, great color way.
It's pretty for sure. The paint job on these bikes is very nice. They look very high quality.
Yeah I too think it looks like an ARC
I think Xtrada also have clutch system in its shimmano Deore M4100
I think you are correct.
Can you do a review on the 2021 polygon heist x7 or a comparison to xtrada 7? Thanks 👍
🤔 I'll see if I can put something together.
Bro is is x6 good for hard jumbs and extreame offroading.
Finally, thank you so much now I can understand. I did bought x7 L 29er. And still in shipping cant wait to ride it. Can x7 do jumps and enduro racing? Im planning to upgrade it to 140mm travel fork and plus size tires 2.6 -2.8 maybe. Any advise from you? Thanks a lot.
I'm glad you found the video helpful. The X7 should be able to handle jumps. Especially with an upgraded fork. I don't think this bike is the best tool for enduro racing. Hardtails in general are not the best choice for enduro. Some will race enduro on a hardtail for the challenge it presents but there are more enduro focused bikes on the market. The X7 will be a very good bike for an XC race. Regarding the max tire size. I doubt you can fit a 2.8in tire in the frame. I'm going to try and fit some different tires on the X6 I have for testing and will report back.
@@AdrenalineIsLife thanks for the tip. Well then, i have to settle for xc trail riding. Leaning towards xc. Or lean towards trail riding with upgraded 140-150 travel fork I guess.. your info helps a lot. Cant wait to see your next videos about the tire clearance. Cheers to you...
I have a 1994 GT Timberline, without suspension. I ride XC (mostly paved road, and occasionally gravel, fire roads, double tracks). Recently I had joint problems in my left wrist and torn ligaments in my shoulder so I'm looking for an upgrade with good suspension to smooth it out a bit for me. I'm light (65kg ~ 143 pounds). Regarding the difference between the spring and air fork in the 6 and 7: is that something I will feel on this "light" terrain? Is it worth to get the 7? Or the difference would be mostly for someone who uses it on more demanding downhills?
On light trails, I don't think there will be a noticeable difference. Both will absorb light bumps fine. The coil spring fork will require less maintenance. If you are not riding aggressive terrain, you won't need the 7, in my opinion.
Indonesian here, glad this product loved by all entire world

Is the xtrada 6 2022 going to be good for trails? Like not very intense ones nor jumps that would be aimed for full suspension bikes? Thanks.
Yes. Very good. I am working on a new video on the Xtrada 6 as we speak. Stay tuned.
@@AdrenalineIsLife That’s good to know mate, for the past week I have been looking everywhere for videos for the bike and I have seen the channel too. Next week might be an owner of one. Looking forward for more vids on the x6! Seems like the polygon family is really good, hopefully I will find people in the UK riding them as well😅
Thanks for this mate. I’m totally totally new to this. In fact just stalking the local bike shops for bikes and considering the Xtrada 6. I’m a short fella 🤣 168cm and apparently in between an S and M frame size. I have no way of verifying if the bike shop guys advice is correct or not but what criteria do I work with to decide on the frame size right for me? Size up to M or down to S?
Glad you enjoyed the video! Leg length relative to torso is a factor in sizing. People of the same height can be proportioned differently. Bikes Online has a sizing tool on their site that is very good. Go to the Xtrada 6 and click "find my size". You can enter your height, arm length and inseam measurements and it will give you the recommended size for you.
From my experience I will go with the small.
Because it would be easier and cheaper to make the bike feel a little bigger, than it would be to make it feel smaller
Talla m bro
on 27.5 xtrada, can u put plus size tires? (up to?) and can u put a XC 29er wheels on a 27.5 xtrada?
I've fit 2.6in Michelin Force AM on my 27.5 Xtrada. I haven't tried a 29in wheel on it. You would need a different fork to have any big tire clearance up front.
How many tooth are there in cassette of xtrada 6 2x 11 drivetrain??
If you had to choose between rim 27.5 or 29 in xtrada 7, which one would you choose?
It depends on your preference. 29er will roll over obstacles better. The 27 5 is more playful. If you are shorter you might prefer 27.5in. If you are taller, 29.
I'm fairly new to mtb, what are the key/most important differences between the x6 and x7?
The biggest difference will be Air Fork the rim width and boost rear thru axle. If you are new to the sport the 6 will probably be more than enough enough bike (Assuming you aren't coming from a BMX background). I've been riding the Xtrada 6 aggressively for several months and it's held up well.
@@AdrenalineIsLife Thanks for the advice
I'm trying to decide whether I should get a 6 or 7, I watch a lot of videos on bikes and know a bit about them and there components but would like to know from someone who has tested both, what would you recommend for a beginner riding mostly blue trails, some light street riding (small drops and stairs), jumps, riding around town and learning new things on it, there's a $300 difference between them were I live, which would you suggest from me. thanks
The 6 can handle that style of riding IMO. If you are a heavier rider, the 7 will be a better option because of the easier adjustability of the air fork.
@@AdrenalineIsLife does the air fork on the 7 absorb rocks and roots on trail any better than the 6? and also does the rebound and compression do much on either or does it barley affect it? thanks again
@@isaiahkelly3676 You'll have more adjustability with the air fork with regards to compression. You can also adjust the firmness via adding or reducing air. The rebound works well on both forks.
Hi, sorry.. I didn't get the details well.
What are the suspension that xtrada 5 use? Izit Air or Hydraulic?
Coil spring
@@AdrenalineIsLife oh.. Ty 🙏
la xtrada 6 sirve para hacer tubeless o solo la 7 se puede tubelizar ?
cualquiera se puede configurar sin cámara
How quick would someone find the limits of the 6 to justify purchasing the 7?
I watched another video of yours about the 6 and the feedback regarding the tyres and seat post size for a dropper.
Would the 7 be a better option if wider tyres and a dropper be fitted?
You would have to be a very aggressive rider to find the limits of 6. The dropper issue would be the same on the 7. Both will accept a dropper. I just intalled a dropper on the 6 and it's proving to be a nice addition. The dropper issue is just a lack of choices in the 27.2mm narrow seat tube. I'm working on a video about it now. The wider rims on the 7 will fit higher volume tires better. This is better if you want a little more cushion to absorb the trail. Wheels are an expensive upgrade. If you are riding mostly cross country trails, the 6 is more than enough bike.
@@AdrenalineIsLife cheers, appreciate the feedback.
Ready to give this bike away yet ? 😁
im getting the xtrada 6 2x11 and i want to change it to a 1x11 so whould i have to change the rear derailleur with the cassette or just the cassette
You should only need to remove the front derailleur and install a narrow wide front chainring. You have 11 gears in the back 11-42 tooth. If you decide to change to a wider range cassette like 11-51 tooth. You'll likely need a long cage derailleur.
@@AdrenalineIsLife alright thanks
Would you recommend buying the Xtrada 6 over a Trek Marlin 7 or the Polygon Sisku D5? Thanks in advance
Just on spec alone. The Marlin is a nice bike but the Xtrada 6 has a better fork, 11 speed groupset and more modern geometry. In the Siskiu D series I would consider D6 or higher. The D5 frame has has quick release dropouts as well a low end groupset and basic fork. The D6 and D7 have boost rear thru axle and they are much better spec for a little more money. A hardtail would serve most riders better over the D5. I hope that helps.
@@AdrenalineIsLife Express feedback! I'm interested in the Xtrada but the difference in price made me look at the D5 (also because the majority of people in my area ride FS) but I'm a newbie and I don't plan on going crazy. Thanks again.
@@ArtemioSilva happy to help. 🙂
I was looking everywhere fir this comparison. I'm choosing between xtrada 6 vs marlin 7. I was already leaning towards xtrada 6 but this comment thread sealed the deal. Thank you both
I ended up getting the D6 🤣
Are the wheels for the xtrada 7 tubeless compatible? Thanks.
They are tubeless compatible. You just need tubeless tape, valves and tubeless tires.
Torn between the xtrada 5/6 on budget or the siskiu d5 with full suspension. Whats your take? Which is better value for the money?
In my opinion, it all depends what you value most in a bike. The D5 gets you a legitimate full suspension platform for a very low price but with a low level spec. If you like to upgrade, you can always do that. However you will be married to a quick release dropout rear. If you buy the D6 you get a boost rear and a better spec from the factory for a little more money. Xtradas are spec'd with better components the 6 being the best value in my opinion. It has the best fork of all 3 and available in a 1x drivetrain. Yes you lose the reat suspension and you still have Qr rear drop outs, but the Xtrada is very versatile and capable for the money.
@@AdrenalineIsLife yes the 2x drive train and absence of clutch was a bummer for the d5, and the d6 is well over my budget. So i think that answers it. Thankyou i appreciate your help on this.
@@atlkhd4487 glad to help! 🙂
Do a comparison between Marin San quintenn 1 and xtrada 6
That would be a good comparison.
Would you say they run small or big? I’m 5”9.5. Currently in between medium and large. Leaning towards medium 27.5 but lmk what you think!
I would say they run about average for an Xc bike which is shorter than a modern trail bike. If you use the sizing guide at Bikes Online it will give you a good sizing recommendation. My guess is a medium 29er. If you have short legs like I do, 27.5 might work better.
@@AdrenalineIsLife appreciate the response man!
Hi, I recently registered my xtrada on the polygon page for the lifetime warranty, but when I try to open the warranty it says "an error has occurred, please try again later", what do I have to do to open the warranty? I would appreciate your answer
It sounds like a website issue with Polygon. Check with the dealer you bought the bike from. They usually handle any warranty issues. Make sure you keep your proof of purchase in a safe place.
Is the front shock absorber high quality and good what do you think????
They are entry level models. On the 6 and the 7 the forks have rebound adjustment and they are good performers for what they are.
What about xtrada 7 vs giant talon 1?
I have a specialized rockhopper sport 2015 want to upgrade to a xtrada 7 or skiuD what are your thought?
They both serve a similar purposes. If you like you want more traction on rough trails or more comfort, the Siskiu D is good. If you want something more playful and rowdy, the Xtrada.
@@AdrenalineIsLife thank you, so much... I will let you know what I do... definitely is one of the two.
@@agomezlourido looks forward to seeing what you choose. 🤟
Trying to decide between the xtrada 6 or 7 and a marin bobcat trail 4. Just wanted to get your opinion.
The Polygons will have the best part spec for the money but the Marin has a good part spec just not as good as the Polygons. The Xtrada 6 and Marin are similar. The Xtrada has a better drivetrain and fork. The Marin has a longer reach which suits a taller rider. The Xtrada 7 is going to be a pretty good upgrade from the 6.
I have been learning about it and the xtrada 7 supports up to 140 mm of travel. My question is what are the possibilities of cracking the frame and is it advisable to install a fox suspension?
Upgrading to a Fox fork will make a big improvement in the ride quality. 140mm is ok. All frames (even the most expensive ones) have the potential to crack when pushed too hard. The Xtrada frame has a lifetime warranty. They are confident in the bikes durability.
thanks but you recommend 130 or 140 mm and the fork I mean the fox 34 performance
@@jeang4mer12 Fox 34 Performance is smooth and will work well. 130mm or 140mm depends on your preference. I prefer to keep the bike close to what the engineers designed. So for me, 130mm is plenty.
@@AdrenalineIsLife ah, another question is this box easy to crack or does it endure abuse?

@@AdrenalineIsLife Aspect
@@robertomolina505 Specs are similar. The Xtrada 6 has a more aggressive geometry and a better drivetrain for mountain biking. The Scott is a more traditional cross country design with shorter travel, steeper head tube and long chainstay.
@@AdrenalineIsLife Okey. thanks for the answer 👍, it was very helpful.
I'll be using a bike for commuting mainly. But also want to take it on some single trail, no downhills. I want the quality components but also a capable off roader. So my question is: would a 1x still give me the cruising speed while commuting?
The 1x will still give you good range. The 2x will give smaller increments between gears. That gives you more cadence options if you do long rides with lot's of pedaling.
what's the max chainring size on the 7?
Looking at it, I'd say no more than 34t.
I currently have a 26" trek 3700 from 2007, I mainly use it for commuting and it's very comfortable. Will the Xtrada 7 be faster/more comfortable/softer to ride?
There should be some improvement with the larger wheels and tires.
@@AdrenalineIsLife Do you know if the Xtrada 6 and 7 are good for climbing? Like on road but also off-road?
@@XelquetevenceraX they are very good climbers. It's a cross country bike so the design favors climbing
Which fork would you put on it so that it behaves better and has the boost hub?
Oooh. So many great choices. What's your fork budget and what type of terrain will you be riding?
@@AdrenalineIsLife I have a reasonable budget and cross country, trail and enduro terrain and how much travel can the frame take?
I wouldn't go more than 140mm. 130mm would be ideal. I'm not sure what reasonable means. its different for everyone. For about $500 the Marzocchi Bomber Z2 is a spectacular fork that performs amazing. Suntour has an upgrade program that allows you to upgrade to one of their higher end forks for cheap. Suntour makes very good high end forks. Rockshox Pike Select is a good fork but more expensive than the Marzocchi. The Manitou Machete is a good budget option but only goes up to 120mm. My favorite by far of these is the Bomber Z2.
@@AdrenalineIsLife thanks bro

The Xtrada 6 has 24mm internal width rims. They're tubeless compatible. You just need valves and tape.
@@AdrenalineIsLife thanks
will the xtrada six be able to handle drops and jumps, nothing too crazy just basics
Yes. Smaller stuff won't be a problem. The fork is designed to handle drops up to one meter high. As a rule of thumb with hardtails the bigger you go the more important proper technique becomes. Which is why I think hardtails make you a better rider in the long run.
@@AdrenalineIsLife alright thanks heaps

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying the videos. A couple questions. What type of mountain bike trails are you ridig and what is your weight?
I ride single track trails in KY and TN mostly. I weigh 185lbs. Thanks for your insight.
@@joemaher3199 I would think something like the Xtrada 7 might suit terrain you ride best. Assuming you are riding some of the rockier terrain in KY and TN. You'll have an air fork to setup to your weight and it will have a stiffer and stronger setup for singletrack. The geometry of the bike will still work well on pavement and the stock tires should be fast rolling. The 7 is a great all rounder in my opinion.
@@AdrenalineIsLife thanks a lot for your help! I appreciate it. Joe
hi there. Im about to buy my first polygon bike and I am torn between siskiu d5 and xtrada series. My budget is not more than USD 1000. I will be using this bike mainly for road riding and possible trail paths as well. And I don't really see myself doing all those fancy jumps or cross country. Which bike should I get? And are these bikes upgradable? Thank you very much
The Xtrada will pedal more efficiently. If you ride smooth roads, this is the better option. Still very capable off road. If you ride rough bumpy roads, then perhaps the D5 for additional comfort. Both bikes can be upgraded.
@@AdrenalineIsLife thank you very much for your prompt reply.
@@AdrenalineIsLife hi there its me again. In what circumstance will you pick the siskiu D5 over xtrada 6? And should I get the 1x11 or 2x11 xtrada 6 and why?
@@jayanthiram I would choose the D5 if I was riding rough single track and wanted a more comfortable ride. At this price point, I prefer the Xtrada as it has a better spec and less maintenance in the long run.
As far as 2x versus 1x. I would select 2x if riding mostly roads. You will have more gears to help maintain cadence. I would choose 1x for rough terrain as the 1x will have better chain retention and is lower maintenance.
@@AdrenalineIsLife once again, thank you very much.
What size do I have to choose because I have seen that some people say that you have to choose one size more?
It really depends on your personal preference. The sizing guide on Bikes Online is pretty accurate. It asks for specific measurements and recommends a size. Some people prefer a bigger bike. I opted for one slightly smaller.

Hello i really like the polygon xtrada 6 but if i wanted to put say a boost thru axle fork on the

Is the upgrade worth it? Should i save up more for a different bike if so do you have a recommendation?
They make adapters to fit non boost to boost but you'll also need an adapter align the brake rotor. In the end it would be less hassle to get a new front wheel or swap the hub. The Xtrada is more capable than the Talon 4. If you've outgrown the Talon then the Xtrada will be plenty of bike. If not, stick with the Talon and build your skills and save up your money and get the bike with all the features you want up front.
@@AdrenalineIsLife thank you for the quick respond i think I’m going to save up for the xtrada 6. What upgrade would you make first?
Is the bike good at climbing because the trails i ride are mostly up hill.
@@amountainbiker2654 I would focus on the touch points first. Grips, bars and pedals and maybe a dropper. Ride it for a while then you will know what you will want to upgrade if anything.
@@amountainbiker2654 It's an excellent climber.
How hard can I jump this bike can it handle large 10 foot plus jumps
Ten foot jumps should be fine assuming you are good at landing them. If I was doing nothing but jumping with it, I would buy the 7 and upgrade the fork. The forks equipped on the xtrada are XC forks and not designed with jumps in mind. Suntour has a great upgrade program where you can get an upgraded fork for a cheap price.
Are they good for jumps
The bike jumps fiine but you will need to shorten the seat post or install a dropper post to get the seat out of the way. The Xtrada 7 will be best equipped for jumping. If you're only doing jumps, a dirt jump bike like the Trid would be a better choice.

30mm

@@AdrenalineIsLife It's FRACKING AWESOME.... If you come out HIT ME UP... However... I crashed going 63 mph in a SuperG ski race a couple of weeks ago.. NO athletic activity until June. I will not be in shape... I may be able to get on Zwift earlier but that has yet to be seen. Could have been a lot worse.
@@groovymoon ouch! Those crashes can get ugly. Hopefully it wasn't too serious. Heal up soon. I won't be in much shape anyway. So dont worry. 😄
What size tire do you recommend for the estrada 6? I'm 5'8 or 5'9 and beginner
Everyone is different. If you are a beginner, 29in is a good wheel size. It will roll over bumps and obstacles easier. However, if you have short legs 27.5 might suit you better. Bike Online has a sizing guide that is very good. You enter your measurements and it will recommend a size.
@@AdrenalineIsLife if I'm not trying to race, would you say the 27.5 is better for me? Or should u get the 29 since I'm a beginner?
That makes sense. 27.5 will be more playful. If you are someone that likes to be aggressive, 27.5 is a good choice. If you want something more stable feeling, 29 is the way to go. If you are a beginner and just learning, 29in is a good choice.
@@AdrenalineIsLife what do you prefer? 27.5 or 29?
@@HKX_ORANGECHICKEN my personal preference is 27.5.
which is best for you bro?
I have the 6. I would love to have the 7 for the thru axle frame and wider rims.
I’m
Debating between xtrada 7 and vitus
Vrs any advice ?? And also is hard to find a
Droper post for the xtrada?
There are different VRS models. I'm not sure which one you're referring to. The Sentier is well spec'd but more expensive. The Nucleus is well regarded but has a dated frame with the 9mm Qr. The Xtrada 7 has a boost through axle which is stronger and more future proof. Also the Xtrada has a 12 speed drive train. The Vitus is only 10 speed. Hope that helps.
@@AdrenalineIsLife yes a lot of help but what about the dropper post any idea if
Its Easy to get a dropper for this bike? I know is 27.2 so that make
It harder!
@@tccampodonico6651 They are not as common but there are a few companies that make 27.2mm droppers. PNW, KS, Xfusion and Crank Brothers all make them. I haven't seen any more that 120mm. I installed a KS Eten i 100mm dropper and it's perfect for the frame. That actually surprised me.
@@AdrenalineIsLife you have the xtrada 7 ?
Yeah o saw that one but no lever man why they always how to mess up somewhere lol thank you quick question do you mind if I ask what is your logo mean is kind of funny !
Xtrada 7 or Vitus sentier 27?
What type of riding is the 7 good for?
The bike is in the cross country/downcountry category. Very efficient climber. Good for most conditions short of gnarly enduro/downhill trails.
@@AdrenalineIsLife ok thanks
xtrada 5 or laux dream 600 which is better
I've never heard of that bike.
i choose to buy xtrada 5 and it's enough for me to bike mostly at pavement
Having the extra gears is very helpful on pavement. Enjoy!
Which is better xtrada 5 or Marin bobcat trail 4 ? Pls suggest
Both are very similar. The drivetrain is the main difference. If you want more gears, go with the Xtrada 5. If you want better chain retention, the Marin uses a single chainring system.
@@AdrenalineIsLife ok. But there is a difference between two...straight tube and tapered tube.....which is better for Trail, gravel and commute between two
@Shivam Hazarika both bikes will accept a tapered fork. One is tapered and one has an oversized headtube. Both come with straight steer forks. Unless you are doing extreme mountain bike trails (which those bikes are not designed for), the stock fork is plenty, and you still have the option for a tapered fork in the future.
@@AdrenalineIsLife ok. But in these, 120 mm travel suspension fork does not comes with thru axle(boost frame) and these two are non boost frames
. Generally 120-140 mm air fork are fitted only in boost frames
@Shivam Hazarika @Shivam Hazarika that's not correct. The Xtrada 5 has a boost quick release frame. If you need a thru axle, the Xtrada 7 has a thru axle and air fork.
which bike is better the xtrada 7 or the trek x-caliber 8 2022?
Similar soec level but I prefer the Shimano drivetrain and 120mm fork on the Xtrada 7. The X caliber has an 80mm fork and traditional xc geometry. The SX eagle groupset is heavy.
Pretty sure that the 6 uses an air fork.
I have one. It's definitely coil.
are the tires on xtrada 7 tubeless?
The tires are not tubeless.
Why do people remove the peddles?
A lot of bikes don't come with pedals. Different people have different pedal preferences. Polygon gives you a basic set to get you started.
Which bike is better. KTM ULTRA RIDE 29 or POLYGON XTRADA 7
I'm not familiar with the KTM. Is it made by the motorcycle company?
I think xtrada 7. The frame is tappered.
Trek Roscoe 6 or xtrada 7?
That depends on your preference. The Roscoe 6 is a pretty good value too. The Xtrada7 has a better fork and drivetrain and it has a 148mm thru axle boost frame. The Roscoe 6 comes with a dropper and wider rims but has a 141mm quick release frame. The Roscoe with the plus tires will be a cushier ride and the dropper out of the box is a nice touch. The Xtrada 7 will have a wider gear range and will be a little lighter weight.
Which one best bro. Trek or polygon?
There is no absolute answer to that. Both are very good brands. You'll typically get better spec for your money with Polygon but there may be something from Trek that might work for you better. It really depends on what you need.
Xtrada 7 or scott scale960
Assuming 2022 models, the Scott is very nice has a higher end spec. It's a very traditional XC bike. I believe it's a good amount more expensive than the Xtrada 7 but is a great XC bike.
@@AdrenalineIsLife thanks for answering.
Also , what do you think . Scott scale 960 2021 vs trek x caliber 9 2022??
@@XxYngwiexX I would say the one you can get a better deal on. I like the fork on the Scott better than the Trek but I like the groupset on the Trek better than the Scott. They are very similar.
what are they gonna do for 2023? they skipped 2022
Not sure at this point. I'm hopeful we'll see something new in the hardtail category.
Did you give the bike away yet!?
Not yet
Is there something I need to do to enter the give away?! 🙏🏻
@@mtb_newbie9184 not yet. When I announce it, there will be more details. There are still more videos to make with the bike.
Ok cool. Looking forward to more videos as I could not find many on Xtradas. Is it going to be like a local giveaway? I live in California. Just curious and you can tell I really want this bike. First time mountain biker here ✋🏻
