I wished for a child from the well and it gave my sim an actual child but I thought I was getting a baby or a toddler so I locked him in the basement and eventually got a toddler. The child was also a boy which is why he got sentenced to the basement. Still fed him.

Sims 3 for me is the band instruments. The fact that you can have multiple sims playing together is chef’s kiss. Also the space and rainbow castle mural wallpapers in Sims 3. I’d intentionally design rooms with a three panel wall so my kids could have one. Sims 2 I would have every family member with their own mechanic car just because I had one or two sim needs to increase that skill and doing the car was the best way to go about leveling it up. I think I had six in total once and had the most ridiculously huge driveway to accomodate them all.
i remember doing things like that. well... i have an entire house set up underground so i can put a huge garden of money trees in one lot and 5 levels of basements i had all "the farmers" living in... lmao. so i feel ya 100%
You know what? For me the observatory from the Sims 4 IS iconic. I remember when I played a game where I decided to try and woohoo/make a baby with every single sim that visited my household. My first victim was the cleaner, a bald guy looking an awful lot like Mr Clean named Jacob. Of course the household was a mess and we didn't have time for twins so OJ II was put in a one by two square and taken away by social services. My personal sims 4 iconic objects: The cupcake machine, The Wishing Well, the talking toilets, patchy, pufferfish nigiri, the shark-themed slip-n-slide, the anniversary hot tub, the get together closets and bushes, spooky stuff wallpapers, the plumbob lamps, the tragic clown painting, and the baby yoda statue. I'm not even a star wars fan but I just think he's such a funny thing to hide on lots.
I'm sure someone already mentioned this, the dancing thing I believe you were referring to was the dancing cage, and it was included with the Sims 1 through the Hot Date expansion. The Sims 1 also introduced spiral staircases with the Living Large expansion I believe. Great video though! The Sims 1 really felt unhinged, especially when it came to it's many expansion packs, base game Sims 1 is actually pretty family friendly for the most part, if you don't include the creepy Goth house, the sound effects, and let's not forget the prank calls the probably terrified many kids.

Man. This honestly solidified how I've been feeling about the Sims 4. All previous sims games had so much character and personality and honestly pretty iconic silliness and imagination behind it. Sims 4 feels like it's become an aesthetic showroom of idyllic suburban life. I enjoy the Sims 4, but it's lacking what made me fall in love with the franchise as a kid.

My personal sims 4 iconic objects: The cupcake machine, The Wishing Well, the talking toilets, patchy, pufferfish nigiri, the shark-themed slip-n-slide, the anniversary hot tub, the get together closets and bushes, spooky stuff wallpapers, the plumbob lamps, the tragic clown painting, and the baby yoda statue. I'm not even a star wars fan but I just think he's such a funny thing to hide on lots.

I'm sure someone already mentioned this, the dancing thing I believe you were referring to was the dancing cage, and it was included with the Sims 1 through the Hot Date expansion. The Sims 1 also introduced spiral staircases with the Living Large expansion I believe. Great video though! The Sims 1 really felt unhinged, especially when it came to it's many expansion packs, base game Sims 1 is actually pretty family friendly for the most part, if you don't include the creepy Goth house, the sound effects, and let's not forget the prank calls the probably terrified many kids.
One that comes to mind for me with iconic things in the sims 4... the pool thing from Get Famous where you can have the bitey fish that nom nom you to death.

The most iconic item I remember from the Sims 1: The dive-tank, I LOVED it! I think it came with the Superstar-pack? I remember once a burglar came to my lot and just stole the entire, huge dive tank and put it in his little bag 😶😂

Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff was my first Sims 2 experience too!!! Oh how I love her. She abo-lutely blew my mind. It was princess themed everything for me, dawg.

Man. This honestly solidified how I've been feeling about the Sims 4. All previous sims games had so much character and personality and honestly pretty iconic silliness and imagination behind it. Sims 4 feels like it's become an aesthetic showroom of idyllic suburban life. I enjoy the Sims 4, but it's lacking what made me fall in love with the franchise as a kid.
My favorite was the Sims 2 wave-rider surf machine. Also, the lots in general that you unlocked in Sims 2 Story Mode (console).
I love the autumnal weather when I don't have to go out into it.
