Just so everyone know, if you have a top end product from Nike and it hasn't been past 2 years since their official release, you can almost 100% get your refund if you have a legitimate issue with the boot. Few things to keep in mind, the boots have to be the top end product and the boots have worn on the right surface (FG must be worn in grass). Like this so everyone can see this and hopefully get their money back.

My vapors were separating from the soleplate and I just took it to a shoe repair store and he was able to just glue it back together. Has been perfect ever since.

+Alder Barrios It is very hard to have top model cleats last because they are meant to be for pros, and they get the cleats almost every game. They are meant to be light and have a very good fit, so like the the puma SL, it has amazing fit, and us superlight, but at the cost of durability.
+Alder Barrios If you want durabality, I would recoment staying away from SL, Vapors , and other light models.

They are often available for around 50$, just google 'adidas OMB', go to 'shopping' and sort the results by price. :)
Mitre balls like the Monde or Ultimatch are good quality and cheaper than match balls.

1month ago i bought t90 laser 2 ltd orange colourway and before i use the soccer shoes on the game the upper and sole separated really wide ..thus i discontinued use that boot than i use another pair of backup shoe..afterwards i glue shoe together with sole than reused that shoe for another game,same problems happen ..now i become jaded put that shoe on shelf and leave it they..what a waste hehe
That's not uncommon with an older shoe that has been sitting for years.
thanks for the video josh, purchased a pair of vapor 10 cr7 silverware boots a few weeks ago. used for 3 training sessions and a few shooting practices but has already seperated the inner side of the right boot from the sole plate. happened with all the nike boots i have purchased in the last 2/3 years. is adidas any better for durability or should i be looking at some tiempos which many say are more durable? thanks
I wouldn't say that either brand is making more or less durable shoes.

There isn't really a good way to fix sole separation.

I sent my mercurial galas to Nike and they sent them back to me, only had them for 7 months
What if they were, say, a pair of Hypervenom 1s? I got a new pair of the 2014 Hyper Punch hypervenoms about three months ago and the sole is slightly separated. If the time comes where it completely separates, would they send me a new pair since they aren't in production anymore?

Wearing the your boots the playing surface they were designed to be used on generally will go a long way. Other than that, just keeping them relatively clean and letting them dry out properly after each use can help.

Hey Josh, do you think it's a good idea to add lace holes to my cleats? I've been thinking about this because I have a pair that I feel would fit better if they had and extra set of lace holes but I'm worried this will ruin the shoes and could make them rip easier when tightening my shoes.

I would say that it probably isn't a good idea.
The problem with me is my Tiempos separated from the soleplate recently but I have a tournament this week and the season is gonna start. I don't have an extra pair of cleats. What should I do?
The manufacturer return takes probably a week and if you cant buy new ones because of x reason ill recommend you trying to glue the soleplate with a strong glue or send them to someone to fix them, just an idea

Your best option is to buy a new pair.
Tape is the nr 1 solution, good old fashion tape always works

You would generally wear sleeves under your socks.
My Mercurials lasted for about 7 years and now are talking (toe box sole separation). So sad, they were my first pair of proper boots. Got a pair of Adidas Copa take downs earlier this year and they have ripped along the sole plate line. Is it my feet that are killing my boots or do I just have bad luck?

Can you fix worn down FG studs? Usually only the front studs get worn down while the back studs remain in good condition. So is there any way to fix the front 2-4 studs when they are worn down? Thanks man!

Also when sole seperation occurs sometimes, manufacturers may tell you it was from normal wear and tear, personal experience with Nike and their claim policy

That's something that would only work as a temporary fix.
The thing is, at least Nike, will only replace so many shoes per year. And the high end boots break faster than they will replace them.
There are a lot of forums (reddit and other places) about what type of glue a professional would use to say, reattach the sole plate.
For a broken stud, you can buy a replacement plastic SG screw in stud, drill hole through the location of the broken stud and attach a bolt to the crew in stud's threading inside the shoe.
