I’m Jerilyn at Our Homeschool Table. I’m new to your channel. 😊 Great picks! I’ve only ever used Math-U-See, but I am always keeping my ears open to Math curriculum just in case we need a change. Thanks for sharing!

We also enjoy CTC Math over here :) With 4 kids at different levels, it helps me out for sure.

It seems perfect for multiple kiddos. 2 was becoming overwhelming 🤣 can’t wait to have all 4 in school!

We’re doing math with confidence kindergarten this next school year and I already think it won’t last. I think the games will drive me crazy 😆

🤣🤣 I hope it goes well for you! My son always loved the games! It was the rest that he wasn’t so fond of 🫣

Sounds like CTC math is popular.

My daughter is finishing Math With Confidence 2 and we're looking for something different for 3rd grade. Are you finding your child is able to go into BJU Math 3? It seems like BJU Math 2 is quite a bit more advanced than MWC 2, so I'm wondering if my daughter would have to cover some of those things before starting BJU Math 3.

As I recall from BJU math 2, the end is fairly similar to MWC 2, as far as introducing borrowing and similar concepts. BJU 3 goes much more in depth on those particular topics. I would not worry one bit, as I feel MWC gives a better foundation as far as mental math goes. I’d love to continue it, but as I said, we need something else this coming year. Thanks so much for watching! ❤️

    Why didn’t y’all like apologia?

I think it just boiled down to trying to figure out a new to us curriculum mid year in the height of our work load. Now that we’ve set aside a few subjects, we pulled it back out and he’s enjoyed the hands on work. I think we’ll alternate between Ctc and apologia until he finishes up math 5. Not sure Id continue with either, at this point, I still think apologia doesn’t offer enough repetition for him, even with the extras online. Sorry for the long winded response lol

I heard great reviews about those math curriculum. I’m planning to use TGTB with my upcoming 1st grader next year!
