I used to play in a local league, many moons ago. I saw some seriously bad players with an ast of about 5 minutes or so. Looked the part, played the part, but when the shot was taken total bollocks :) They could grind you down though due to sheer frustration! The 9th frame is a beauty! Tight, intense, dramatic. On the razor thread! The snooker played by Ronnie at 20:20 is an unforgettable shot of anthology. A fantastic match that honors both players. Thank you Cesar, great post.
I am a Ronnie fan, that was a fantastic match that showcased everything good about snooker,congratulations to Neil Roberson on his resilience and competitiveness in his victory over Ronnie,a match where the audience were the true winners viewing a truly classic match.
Great match neil Player Out of His skin in the Last frames. And in the final obviously. But that ronnie miscue though .. I think he miscued in a later tournament on that exact shot
Like Sulivan in the seminal? Did he lose at the debut to James Cahill an amateur? The semi final was on 04/30 and 05/01 and were between Gary Wilson x Ali Carter and Judd Trump x Stephen Maguirre and the grand final was between Gary Wilson and Judd trump with Trump being the Champion.
Robertson puts me to sleep, even when he's playing great... yes, he's a good player, one of the best at the moment, but somehow he's just Plain-Jane. Maybe to me he lacks personality. Plus i don't think his good run will last, as he seems a bit weak-headed...already showing cracks. And for me, in this regard, he's a bit like Trump (yeayea, i know it's unpopular opinion.)

Most players try offensive shots ASAP in order to start with a large break. That’s snooker.
