It depends heavily on the fragrance, general rule of thumb that I use is that after 1 hour you should still be able to smell me at and within 3 feet (basically just outside my reach and closer)
Honestly like 1 in like 10 guys even wear cologne so if you want to rock Savauge, do it! There’s a reason it’s popular, it smells good. The fragrance community tells you not to buy it but honestly you might know like 1 or 2 people who have it. They make it seem like everyone you know smells like it…
@@HCK_Cat_It's a fact that girls love sauvage because It contains synthetic thing called ambroxan. I will never wear popular shiet because of girls. I choose terroni and megamare orto parisi forever
The whole "don't wear a fragrance because it's so popular" is overblown. Most guys in general don't wear any fragrance. Especially if you don't live in NY or LA. So even the popular on3s are rare to smell.
It's important to recognize that fragrances should be selected based on the season, with each one calling for a distinct scent profile: • Summer: Opt for Bright Notes that evoke the freshness of a sunny day. • Fall: Choose Warm Notes that complement the cool and cozy ambiance. • Winter: Embrace Dark Notes that resonate with the season's depth and introspection. • Spring: Refresh with Fresh Notes that mirror the season's new beginnings. Additionally, the transition from day to night warrants a change in fragrance. Ideally, you should have two scents per day that align with the current season. Moreover, layering your perfumes can create a unique style that's tailored just for you. Hope this helps someone out there. And have a good one all.
Even though a cologne is popular, the MAJORITY of people do NOT wear cologne. So you are good to wear what works for you and if it is one of the super popular ones, then you will get A LOT of compliments.
Cool water has been my go to since the 90's. Women always compliment me on my smell but I never tell them what kind it is. Gotta be a little mysterious.
I personally don’t think any fragrance is bad. The man makes the fragrance, not the other way around. But I would say that over application of fragrance is the worst. I’ve smelt somebody in the gym before that reminded me of a nightclub bathroom.
I wear Cool Water everyday and have since I was like 12 lol my dad has used Cool Water since I think the early 90’s. Cool Water is amazing. Sauvage also has an amazing smell. I wear it for more special occasions tho. But to each their own.

I’m a girl and I looove Dior Sauvage and Versace Eros😍(I’m not very familiar with the other ones from this video) My ultimate favorites are almost everything from Armani though, especially Armani Gio and Armani Code 🤍We all prefer different brands etc. I don’t care if the fragrance is rare or not as long as I like it on the guy☺️But some of the most common and popular fragrances are honestly just🔥Wont deny that.
Hey Alpha. I have rebel, hero and the best evening scent Villan. They mix well with my body chemistry. However the legend unfortunately does not. It is a little bit too bold for me. I will always buy Pete and Pedro colognes. You killed it brother.
Nobody should ever wear axe unless you want something that you can wear while outside doing stuff but not like going out and going places, or wear axe if you’re planning on staying in and not doing anything for a daily wear, I’d suggest something more like a better scent besides axe or ole spice for going out and stuff and cheaper stuff for staying in and daily wear so you don’t have to wear your good stuff
As a frag head myself who has things like vintage decants of Shalimar and Chanel #5 from the 70s, indie and niche fragrances , I have them because they smell fuckin great. I also wear Dior Sauvage, because it smells fuckin great. Get what you want, rock it proudly
For me, price has a LOT to do with me buying a cologne… All of my “every day” colognes are $20-30 and I refuse to spend more than that on an “every day” smell. My “special occasion” cologne is Armani Code that’s $80 but it smells phenomenal and it literally lasts until I shower it off. Some of my “every day” colognes are… Nautica Voyage(been a fan for years), Duke Cannon(Heron and Sawtooth) at Target, Goodfellow & Co(sage and tonka) also at Target, Avon Alpha(best bang for buck), Avon Black Suede(goes on STRONG but settles to an Oak after an hour or so). All of my every day colognes are $15-30 and last for months. My fiancée compliments me ALL the time for smelling good. You don’t have to go broke to smell nice and quite frankly, any company that sells a cologne for $100+ can kiss my fucking ass…
I bought a micro perfume of 1million and wore it to a smoked filled casino. I was standing in line and a couple behind me said someone smells good. It was me. I ended up buying a full bottle and I get complimented when I wear it.
I would prefer a street smell test with many women (young to middle age obviously) and all of these fragrances including the ''bad ones'', too see what they actually like, because you know I'm not putting on a fragrance for other man.
I agree with the „celebrity and sneakers fragrances”. The rest of the list are fragrances that are simply OK, but outdated in my opinion. We’ve smell them everyday for the last 10/15/20 years, so they became boring af. The problem with some people is that even if they wear fragrances that are OK, they overspray them, cause they think that „the more the better”, and they end up just stinking.
The one thing I have found is that you should find a scent that compliments your skin type also. I’m Greek, and have a more oily skin type, so found some scents that suit others, don’t work for me.
Worst i´ve ever owned was "Lattafa Ameer al Oud". I think no one should smell like you´ve standing for hours on a campfire. If you really did you go home, taking a shower and change your clothes. So why should i spray a parfume on me that smells like it?
Forget the bad fragrance. I wanna know about all the Men’s opinion on LOCAL made ones. I live in India and during the Muslim festival we get amazing rose scented perfumes, only to be used on clothes .
I was going to say the same thing. He would have been correct on his point 10 years ago but Aventus has been knocked off so much (and sometimes in better quality) that it's not really a hard smell to come across.
Celebrity often use professional noses to formulate their perfumes, but they influence them... so yeah. Bummer. I wear what gives me a good feeling of being in my confident relaxed skin. Tom Ford Noir in the winter, Cedrat Boise in the summer. I'm 40+, so I don't need to spray more than 2-3 times. Who wants to discover me, usually gets close enough. And who cares about random compliments?
Yeah, I’ve seen and heard so much about Joop so I got a bottle a couple weeks ago. You’re dead on, it does smell like baby powder. 😂😂😂 I’ve also tried imitations of Dior Sauvage, Tom Ford Oud Wood, Creed Green Irish Tweed and Creed Aventus. I also have a small sampler of Versace Eros. My wife likes all of them to an extent but her favorite by far is Creed Aventus. So for me that is currently my go to and were I single I would rely on the most to catch some female attention. I really like it too. After this bottle runs out I’ll check out Revel.
I wear Adidas Moves because it smells so much like Avatar by Coty, but for WAAAYYY less money. My dad used to wear Avatar. Soooo, I think I'll stick with what I like.
