- I drove from Bariloche in Patagonia to Mendoza with a friend I met while I was hitchhiking. The landscapes were varied and beautiful, and definitely the best way to see the country.

Awesome trip. If you can go to La Payunia in Mendoza and see the volcanoes, it is great. If you travel North, please go to Catmarca to El campo de Piedra Pomes. Catamarca has a Junga jungle and desert together. It is stunning and San Juan province is absolutely amazing as well. Don't miss these 2 provinces.

Hi, what month was that? Not many towns, villages on the way?
Because of the snow, it must have been between May and August, which is winter, Patagonia is a very large territory with only 3 million inhabitants, you can go 200 km without finding a town.
End of June! And yes, there are not many towns along the way, just a few. Usually really small.

@@PiefacePete46 Thanks John. I think what happened is that if she had a few months lapse in posting, UA-cam automatically cut her from my feed. I've had that happen before with others. I have a ton of sites I subscribe to and I think that added to the situation. She's a brave & beautiful girl to do what she does in this day & age. Just heard 10 people killed in Ensenada, Cali. Terrible things are happening here & abroad. I do hope she stays safe. Thank you for replying. PETE...sorry 'bout that!

@@PiefacePete46 True that Pete. In '72, I took a Yamaha 650 throughout Mexico, slept at so-called truck stops on concrete with cardboard for a mattress, beside the road, in the woods, on beaches etc., by myself, never had a bit of trouble. Would I do that now? Hell no!

This comment thread made me laugh- I’m also hoping I make it to old age! 😂 and yes, the “algorithm” doesn’t like channels that don’t feed into their “hyper-engagement” business model- but I’ve got more life to live than sitting behind a screen all the time, and so does everyone else, hence the “delay” between videos.
