The piece, you called the "boyfriend chain", is actually called a "Figaro chain", and they are indeed available many places. I agree, the Figaro chain pattern is very pretty.

They are by far my favourite earrings! I have worn them all summer whilst swimming, working out etc without having to change them. I have them in the yellow gold xx
